Interesting collection of trivia. Some is based on statistics and so could have changed in the 16 years since its publication. In some cases things are quite incomplete and just a year of occurrence would have helped a lot. Sometimes what's missing is the location. No direct references are given for the facts and in some cases I suspect that she's just repeating what other trivia collections say. There are some sources given at the back in a bibliography.
Chapters are: Women get malled (I shop therefore I am); Painted ladies (cosmetics and clothing uncovered); Of cabbages and queens (feminine food fancies); Women in bed (connubial conjugations and other erogenous activities); The feminine physique (fascinating facts about the female form); Truly, Madly, Deeply (ladies look at love, marriage and the baby carriage); Barks, coos, and purrs (promise me anything but don’t diss my dog); Entertaining women (shining stars, audacious artists, and daring divas); Shattering the ceiling (fabulous firsts and other fantastic female feats).
