First in a steamy new billionaire romance series. It's hot, long, and full of surprises.

JACK
There's no room in my production schedule for slackers.

Mia Green thinks she’s going to swan onto my movie set and shoot to stardom even though she's never bothered to attend drama school. She only got this part through connections and sheer luck. Success doesn't work like that. It takes effort, dedication, grit.

But she’s tempting as hell. Dressed in a barely-there alien princess costume, I get hot cravings for her all-too-human curves. Things get hotter still as we haul the set to a Caribbean island where she proves she's got talent after all. I bury myself in profit-and-loss sheets, trying not to think of any other kind of sheets.

But when the plane leaves without us, and we’re stranded in paradise, it's just the two of us, no lights, no cameras...only coconut trees and a whole lot of each other. Together, we need to figure out what the hell just happened...and how we're going to survive.

Enemies-to-lovers tale with guaranteed HEA. Safe read. This is the first in a series of interwoven stories about the world's newest class of billionaires. Scroll up to buy today.

This is the first book in a new series called the Bitcoin Billionaires. A cute enemies to lovers romance that will grab your heart and take you on an emotional roller coaster. Jack and Mia have chemistry that's off the charts, but there's no shortage of drama or twists. A creative story line that is unique and very readable. A fun read with likeable characters and an HEA. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.

A lovely romance. A very in-depth perspective on the making of a movie. Great detail in setting scenes. Good characterizations. There were a number of players involved in this story and their characters were all well defined. There is a definitive spark that exists between the two main characters that when fanned becomes incendiary. Within the ups and downs of life these two mature, with the main female characters becoming more focused in life. This is a charming romance that ends in a happy ever after. However, this novel is part of a series and leaves the reader with some unanswered questions. Soooo.... onto book 2 I say!

I received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest review.

Oh man...I was so disappointed! From the first page, I kept wondering when the story was going to grab my attention...it never did. I found the storyline sort of meh; the characters were boring; and who knows where the sizzle was...The most irritating part? The darn book requires you to read the next novel. Bummer! (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and found it basically borderline.)

A must read.

Jack and Mia share an intense connection and even though they can’t stand each other at first. Things change when they are left behind in an island. Things take of from there and their romance is born. I enjoyed every bit of this story and look forward to reading more books by this author.

This book was a pleasant surprise for me! This is a pretty new author to me and the start of a new series about Bitcoin billionaires. The Bitcoin thing almost scared me off, since I basically live under a rock with my trusty Kindle and know nothing about Bitcoin. I was worried it would be all technical etc, but it really was just the source of Jack's wealth and nothing to be scared off by! :)

Mia is a hardworking young woman trying to dip her toe back into the acting world, after being a child star and then blowing through her earnings in her late teens. Jack is a self-made billionaire who is working on producing his first full-length film. He abhors laziness, nepotism and favourtism, so when his director (Mia's aunt) asks him to audition Mia for a supporting role, his is immediately on the attack and wanting to steer clear of the family ties.

Reluctantly, Jack casts Mia as an extra and is extra tough on the young actress who is trying to prove her worth in the business. They can't stand each other, although the heat between them when they're bickering is off the charts and you know eventually that sexual tension is going to erupt.

Fast forward to Jack and Mia getting stranded on a tropical island together and they get to know each other intimately in a hurry. Having to rely on each other for survival brings them together and they work to distract each other with working on lines, brainstorming and exploring each others' bodies. It all seems perfect, until they're rescued and 'business' Jack comes back and seems to forget about their truce and their island connections.

Will Jack and Mia be able to find a way to join their very different lifestyles now that they're faced with reality?

First book in a series and I can't wait to read fun-loving Felix's book. :)

This is the first book I've read by Sara Forbes; I must say I am very impressed! Well written, in her own style, and perfectly edited! She could let you know so subtlely when she's changed POV; not by change to a new chapter or a person's name in big type but just a skipped line down and a reference to 'my bed' and we know the POV has changed.
But, of course, the story is always the point of the book and the author has told a great story using the young girl, older man, enemies to lovers, and that love being redeeming, motifs that are always favorites. What is unusual is using non-government backed money as the way to grow money, in this case Bitcoin, in Jack's situation with the help of a guy he met at a bar, he earns three million dollars to start his movie production business. In the instance of his latest movie, a retro sci-fi, that would make no money at all, if it weren't starring the well-known Scarlett, it was the director wanting to give her niece, Mia, a former child actress, a chance at a supporting role, that set up the love interest. It was Scarlett's 'agent' Cara that had talked her into signing on to make the movie with ulterior motives. Now Scarlett has withdrawn, ruining Jack's business and also ruining Mia's hopes, but not their love for one another. Jack and Mia's story was really good reading and I am anxious to read about his doubly handsome twin brother Felix, next.

ONE REFRESHING READ!!!
Well, well, well! Yep, I said that and trust me when I say this is one tale that really took me by surprise. You have all the drama, pulse racing, heart pounding, smooth flowing traits that will captivate you from the start. A refreshing spin that takes you on an action packed, thrilling rollercoaster ride. With a full range of emotions that shows the true depth to this strong plot and will keep you on a razors edge. The characters and scenes are so realistic, intriguing, complex and believable. Amazing graphically detailed descriptions that brings this tale to new heights and roaring to life. Twists and turns abound with nerve racking, nailbiting, suspense so much so that you're drawn deeper into the storyline. Sara draws us into her imagination and weaves the world she created around us until everything else ceases to exist. Following the characters along mesmerzed as her seemingly endless talents bring this adventure together perfectly. Great job Sara and thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

This is the first book I have read by the author. Mia is an aspiring actress who had some success as a child actor but not many bites currently and is working as a waitress. Her life changes when her aunt gets her an audition for a part on a movie she is working on. Jack is a former actor turned movie producer and bitcon billionaire. When the two meet, it is a bit like oil and vinegar as Jack is unsure of Mia’s acting capability as she has not had a real part in quite some time. Mia is turned off by Jack’s attitude and constant critiquing. However, when she gets the chance to go on location for the movie, the two become stranded. All bets are off and they indulge their feelings towards each other but what happens when they have to return to reality? Can they have a happily ever after or will real life intercede and misconceptions run rampant? I look forward to reading more from this series.
I volunteered to read an arc of this book.

This is a romance older man/younger woman scenario. The storyline is engaging and will keep the reader turning the page.
Jack seems like a good guy who just wants to make sure his brother is safe and he can make a profit on his production company. He is looking out for the bottom line but he also realizes he has a staff that need to be paid.
Mia is a former childhood actress who needs to grow up. While she has had some rotten things happen to her she still hasn't moved past needing everything and everyone to be about her.
She and Jack re immediately attracted to each other and they do act on that attraction but it can't be anything more than scratching an itch until Mia does some growing up.
Jack tries to show Mia that he cares about her but she is still caught up in herself and doesn't realize what a real relationship looks like until she gets her act together.
I was given this book for an honest voluntary review.

Mia is a somewhat famous child star but she took a break from acting and now wants to go from former child star to an adult actress. Jack is a bitcoin billionaire trying to branch out into something new. He wants to have the perfect cast for his movie and doesn't really like that Mia is the director's niece and is worried over how that will look. Jack is attracted to Mia but tries to stay away from temptation but its not long before they are sleeping together. Can Mia show Jack that she got casted for her skills and not because of her aunt?

This was a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between Jack and Mia is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend it to any book lover.

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. I enjoyed it so much I bought my own copy.

Well written story with the theme older mand/younger woman. He does not like her because of the way she got the acting role. He thinks she is of no use. But he still has a lot of attraction to her but he does not want to act on it until fate leaves them alone at an Island. What to do now?
At first it was a bit slow but it grows on you. It has a humor and writing style that captivates you.
A mix of drama, mystery, danger, trust, lust, love, protectiveness, passion and emotional ups and downs. It has some twists in it. A sweet and steamy novel with lots in it. About letting the walls down and let the one that fate has chosen for you in. The characters are likeable and well described.
I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating.
It is engaging and recommendable.

Sara Forbes is a new-to-me author and I’m super happy I’m catching this new Bitcoin Billionaires series at the start because it looks great! This doesn't end on a cliffy but the underlying mystery will continue. Mia was a successful child actress and wants to get back into the business after taking a break. Jack Palmer is the the film's producer, having made a bit of money in bitcoin currency.. Jack sees something special in Mia. There is more going on here than meets the eye, so while Mia and Jack are falling in love, all kinds of other characters are busy doing things that are not fully understood in this book. This book was easy to read, had a bit of humour, good flow, and kept me wondering about the bigger picture. Can't wait for more in Felix.

Jack and Mia ❤

Preconceived notions about an up and coming actress, Mia, plague Jack. He believes her to be riding the coattails of her aunt, relying on connections versus talent to make it in the movie business... what he wasn't prepared for was her innate talent and intoxicating beauty. When these two are stranded on a small, isolated island they ate forced to work together to survive - and come to grips with the sizzling chemistry that crackles between them!

There is some heartache, some humor, and definitely a few revelations as these two navigate through a new beginning. I am thoroughly enjoying this series and look forward to the next book! ❤ this is my honest review of a voluntarily read ARC

Older man vs younger woman read

This was an entertaining read. I was not so sure about it in the beginning but as it progressed, I began to enjoy it more and more. My favorite part was when they were stranded on the island and Jack and Mia learned more about each other without the interference of others. However, things got a little rough when they were rescued and went back to their lives. It had a little mystery in it and I cant wait to find out what happens with Felix and Cara. I used KU to read this book.

Bitcoin? What? Anywho, Jack is the story between Jack and Mia, who obviously have crazy attraction towards each other and amazing chemistry, once they get past their animosity for each other. A definite enemies to lovers book, but what can happen when two people, enemies rather, get stuck together on an island? Either off each other or get off on each other! This was a fun and creative book with lots of twists! I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review.

This was so interesting and romantic. First you fall into the story of jack and Mia while they’re falling for one another and working on producing a film. Then you find out more about Jack and how he started his business. There are still gaps in the story, but more information follows along in the book and there’s more to expect from the series. I cannot wait to see what happens with the fun-loving twin, Felix. As well as who cara really is and who she works for.

Jack is determined to do whatever it takes be successful. Mia longs to be discovered as an actress. One movie shoot brings them together, but someone is determined to ruin them. Will Jack find what makes him happy? Will Mia find a path to her dreams?

Loved the chemistry between these two. Loved how while they had a love-hate relationship, Jack was determined to help Mia. I was proud of Mia for not giving up and taking a path towards her dreams. Good read!

I liked this book. It's well written, the plot is intriguing and engaging, the characters believable. The story ends with HFN but leaves many loose ends, many unanswered questions. As much as I liked this book I hate cliffhangers and that's why I'm giving it a 4-star rating. However, if you don't mind this type of thing, the book is well worth reading.

Needed and Necessary

Jack and Mia will have you laughing and crying at their antics. When they need each other but also need to be neutral can their attraction be tampted down?
Wonderful funny romance.
