Brayden’s world spins out of control after a tornado pummels his town. As stores lock down and shelter options dwindle, his family attempts to outrace the twister. They fail. Brayden’s physical and emotional scars from the ordeal soon force bouts of dizziness. He wonders if he’s completely losing his mind. Could mini-cyclones really be churning out of him? Can they be controlled? Tornadic explores a teenager’s struggle with survivor guilt, brain trauma, and finding his place in the social order.

The one thing I hated was the semi-unfinished plot concerning a certain 'power' the lead character develops after the tornado. The author seems to let it drop in favor of developing relationship plot lines. It's not a bad thing but the way we are left to wonder either means what I already stated or there's a sequel coming. Hmmmm, Tami, any truth to that? Overall, I found myself engrossed and entertained. When is the second book coming out? :)
