This is a quick to the point read. I have not implemented his approach yet but it seems to be very logical and I am excited to start using it. His weight progressions are different than anything that I have ever seen and it seems to lend itself to real long term progress. One thing to note, is that the rep ranges are higher than I am used to. For the most part, I have trained in the 1-5 rep range for a long time, with the occasional foray into the higher ranges (8-12). These higher ranges have typically been for my accessory exercises and I didn't focus too much on progression. Now that I am nearing 40, training heavy with low reps is starting to take its toll. Brad makes clear in this book, that absolute strength is not his primary goal and that he is more interested on physique development. That being said, these progressions are designed to increase your strength in a slightly higher rep range but I feel that overall, it will still increase your overall strength. If you have been training for a while and feel stuck, this book is definitely worth a look. I have honestly never seen this type of approach to weight progression. Usually, the approach is to either add more weight, or more reps, reduce rest etc. His approach is totally different and I think they will yield results for a long time. Can't wait to start!

Very intereseted book. I tried this method to increase my muscle mass. Although, my results not so impressive like Brad's ones (he posted his personal progress on his blog here - Progressions 2018 update) - I think it's a very unique, out of the box muscle gaining program.
