Damien Evercore’s gonna make you want to disappear into the woods and never come back.’ And the flavor of that Mountain Man (Damien Evercore) is described early on – ‘I’m an animal. A predator, a beast – the thing that lurks in the shadows. And nothing can ever change that. I’ve been away from civilization for a long time, and I don’t intend to go back. My hours are filled with doing what I need to survive. There’s not a lot of time for mindless thought, and I like it that way. Tonight, I’m outside chopping wood. The sun is sinking low in the sky and the air is filled with the scent of dew. I guess it’s the time of day where most people are sitting around at home with their families.
I don’t have a family. I like things that way, too. The wind shifts and I hear the sound of bushes rustling. Silently, I make my way closer to the woods. A branch twitches in front of me and I freeze in my tracks. And that’s when I see it. Inch by inch, a small, pink sneaker sliding from out of the trees. The sneaker is connected to a lovely, shapely leg. The thighs are thick and creamy, just how I used to like them back in the days when I wasn’t a hermit…etc’

We meet young Emma on a date with a frat boy hiking in the woods.. Emma likes/crushing on this guy but seems this guy doesn't give a crackers about Emma once he has her deep into the woods with no food, water or phone he lies to her making her think he has to go to the bathroom and leaves her there. Scarwd and panicky Emma wonders around the woods going deeper and further. To her luck she stumbles upon Damien who helps her to his cabin making sure shes fed, and her ankle isn't sprained.
It doesn't take long before clothes are flying everywhere Emma and Damien sleep together its hot and dirty. But Damien is kinda a sweet jerk and takes her back to the road after she gave him her vCard (really jerky). This is about a young woman, Emma and an older man, Damien. Emma is lead out on a date in the woods by a guy at her college and he leaves her there! Emma is forced to find a way out and comes across Damien and things get interesting. Damien has had enough of society and living in the woods to stay away from them all. When he sees Emma he is shocked that she is not properly dressed or prepared for being in the woods. After Emma hurts her ankle he helps her to his cabin for some rest. Emma has never meet a man as rugged and good looking as Damien and she enjoys his cooking. These two have a connection that most people never find. But Damien being unable to let others in after what happened to him he sends her away. Emma is a curvy woman and can not believe the way her dad has treated her and her mom thier entire lives. When her dad threatens to send her away to a fat farm Emma packs a bag and leaves to find Damien again. Emma believes that Damien is the one person who does not see her figure but her heart and when he sends her away again she is heartbroken. Damien goes after the man who is responsible for what happened to him for justice and hopefully he can find a way to make things right with Emma. Emma Hadley is a 21 yr old curvy girl that is slightly overweight. She comes from a rich family. Her father is a total a** that treats her mother and her badly, verbally abusing her by calling her a fat cow and other names. When Emma gets asked to hiking in the mountains by the captain of the Lacrosse team she is excited that he asked her. But it didn't turn out the way she planned he ditched her in the mountains and it was getting dark and cold. She had no idea where she was. Damien Evercore moved to the mountains after he got out of prison to get away from everything and everyone. He was sent to prison for something he didn't do, embezzling from his own company. He is out cutting wood when he runs into the most beautiful curvy girl he has ever seen. She hurt her ankle and has no coat. It is getting cold outside and even though he knows it's a bad idea he has to help her. Damien gives in to his attraction and they have sex before he sends her home. He can't seem to stay away from her but what will happen when she learns who he is and the part her father played in him being sent to prison. This is a great short story with instant attraction between an older man and younger woman. I couldn't put it down. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Emma is on a hiking date or so she thinks until her date leaves her stranded in the woods alone. Wondering around trying to find her way out she comes across Damien. Damien can't believe she's out hiking without a jacket and proper shoes but he offers to help lead her out. They go to his place first so he can check her ankle out. Emma can't believe that a gorgeous man like Damien lives in the woods. When he offers her stew Emma accepts and loves it. Unable to not give into Temptation Damien and Emma end up having sex. Afterwards he leads her out so she can find her way home. What he didn't expect was to ever see her again but she still comes back to him. Emma likes how she feels around Damien and how he treats her. When he father is planning to send her away to lose weight she runs to Damien but will happen when she finds out that her family is connected to Damien and to what happened to him? Can Damien see Emma for who she is and not who her father is?
This is a great story once I started It I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between between Damien and Emma is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining. I would recommend this to any book lover.

I found this an emotional story of love and abuse as the truth of her parentage comes out and the the anger at betrayal forces them together, righting wrongs and creating a new life and hope for the future.

Sarah and Katie are becoming a great writing duo. This book has drama, twists, insta-lust to love, and some hot and steamy scenes. Years ago Damien was betrayed by someone he trusted and went to jail for something he didn't do. After getting out he lives a her it's life in the mountains. Emma is a curvy twenty-one year old who is going to college. When she gets left in the woods Damien finds her and the attraction is instant between them. What starts out as one time turns into many more. Damien, however, doesn't know what to do with his feelings. He knows he should push Emma away, but he is addicted to her. When truths come out, he will do what it takes to keep Emma out of the line of fire, even if it means letting her go. They have off the charts chemistry and their lives are similar. Due to their similarities, they are a perfect match for each other.

Katie Ford and Sarah May have such a fantastic collaboration with their stories and this story is no exception. Damien was betrayed and sent to jail for a crime he didn’t commit, now he is a recluse and living in the mountains. Emma is a young curvy girl who goes into the Forrest with a guy she’s crushing on, but he ends up leaving her in the Forrest alone. Scared and suffering from a sprained ankle she runs right into Damien, he takes her back to his cabin and one thing leads to another and she gives him her virginity. Damien drops Emma off at the side of the road ( the jerk ) but is it the last time Damien see’s her?, there’s a lot more to tell in this story but that’s all I’m giving you so if you want to know more then you will need to one click this book. Fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. I’m loving the writing styles of Katie and Sarah, they are killing it right now! I was hooked from beginning to end and couldn’t put this down. Damien is a recluse, betrayed and sent to prison for something he didn’t do. Now he closed off and living in the mountains and completely content to do so, that is until he runs across Emma in the woods lost and scared, feelings he hasn’t felt in a long time begin to creep up. The attraction is undeniable and he knows he shouldn’t be tempted by her, but he is and he wants it all, but when the past comes back to haunt him, and their lives may never be the same. There’s twists and turns, danger, drama and deliciously hot and sexy. Highly recommend this book.

Damien was once a rich powerful man until he was framed for embezzlement and lost everything including his freedom. Now that he is out, he decides to live alone in a cabin. Emma is a sweet girl, she is super curvy and just wants someone to care for her. After a prank Emma finds herself stranded in the woods, then she meets Damien. Emma, is the kind of girl Damien is attracted to however, he tries to keep his distance. Especially since he discovers she is the daughter of the man who framed him. They both decide to risk it all to be together. I thought the story was good! Damien brings out the wildness in Emma and she brings out the goodness in him. I like how their story entwines around her father and his deceit. Made for one interesting read!

There is an instant attraction between them and before long they are sleeping together. This was an interesting read. The story was well written and the characters were well developed. Emma and Damien had amazing chemistry and were great together. A really enjoyable read that kept my interest from beginning to end.

Woohoo what a book! Katie Ford and Sarah May bring the heat as well as the mystery with this one. Emma is the overlooked daughter that is too big for her father's eyes. Damien is the mountain recluse that life has just beaten down. When they come across each other, neither can seem to resist. And she keeps going back for more. This book has mystery, lust, hate, fear and love. They come together and it turns into a great love story. Loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I was hooked on the writing style of Sarah & Kate right from the beginning. The storyline and characters were brought to life with their personalities and outside influences in the storyline. Emma is the overweight daughter of wealthy parents. She meets Damien only by happenchance after going on a hiking date with a boy from school who ditched her up in the woods. Not being an outdoors person, she's trying to find a way home when she runs into Damien only by happenchance. He's living as a recluse in the woods up in the mountains wanting nothing to do with civilization after coming out of prison. This was an entertaining easy read with characters, storyline, and of course, hot love scenes.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story from the beginning until the end. It's filled with drama, insta-love and betrayal. Hot reclusive mountain man with major trust issues and an innocent virgin who sees him for who he is. Together this unlikely couple are definitely stronger and can overcome their troubles.
A wonderful well-written quick read, wonderful characters, interesting storyline. Standalone story with a HEA. No cliffhangers

Emma and Damien meet while she's been ditched by an arrogant guy from school. She is somewhat afraid but more so intrigued by the handsome but wild looking man. Something about him turns her on in a way she's never felt before. Will she follow her heart and find out who this man is that lives isolated in the woods or be afraid for the same reason? Ford and May write another 5 Star combination.

Emma gets lost in the woods when he date left her with nothing to help. She runs into Damien and he takes her back to his cabin to give her food and water before he shows her the way out of the woods. When she shows back up at the cabin things start to happen. They have a great connection and she could have the potential to get him to open up. But all that could come crashing down when he finds out who her dad is and his connection with Damien going to prison. Great book to read.

This Is one fantastic book it has drama, suspence, betrayal, twists and turns, just about every emotion and then some, it's hot, it's sexy, I could not stop turning the pages, I wanted, no, needed to know what was going to happen next.

Damien and Emma make for one sweet, hot and electric couple. They are what you get when a man living alone in the woods meets a damsel in distress in those same woods. The story is both lovely and scorching. The characters really grow and develop throughout and I will definately be rereading again in future.

Wild Beast was a very good book and I’ve found that Sarah and Katie are becoming one of my favorite duos to read. This book was full of twist and turns with betrayal, love, and a sexy Alpha. I thoroughly enjoyed Katie Ford & Sarah May’s “Wild Beast”. I found the characters of Emma & Damien to have hot explosive chemistry. I loved every bit of this mountain man story...I think you will too...especially how they get to their HEA!! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

When I borrowed this book on kindle unlimited I didn’t realize that it was about a young girl and a way older man. This wasn’t my thing, but I did end up finishing the book. Sometimes I felt like their relationship was kind of forced but I loved how obsessed and head over heels in love Damian was about Emma. Great writing, but the plot didn’t really captivate me.

Wild Beast is a well written book with well developed characters. I do love me a good mountain man romance and this is definitely one. Damien and Emma have chemistry that sizzles. This is a good mountain man romance story to read. Emma's lost in the woods & stumbles upon meeting Damien. Emma feels an attraction to him, even when he sends her on her way back to town. His big secret has been revealed & her dad is a big part of it. Damien is cleared of past wrongs & Emma still stands by her man. A good HEA!

Damien and Emma have an intense attraction and sizzling chemistry. I enjoyed reading this well written book. It has a fun plot, likable characters and lots of heat and steam. This is my voluntary, honest review.

Wild Beast: is a hot, sexy and intriguing story.a bit emotional but enjoyable read! it's a page turner,hard to put it down! older man/ younger woman romance! Great Book Ladies! well done! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book!!! thanks!

It was okay
I thought that Wild Beast would be steamier but it wasn't. The characters were good. The storyline was good. Not enough caveman for me. The nooks tha followed, I have read in previous collection. They were more steamier than the title book.
