Charlie and Clint Abbott are high school sweethearts who've married and started a family. One of their twin daughters, Faith, dies shortly after birth but Charlie and Clint stay strong and create a wonderful life for their remaining daughter, Miracle, or Mira as they call her. Life is seemingly perfect until Mira begins talking about her new imaginary friend, Faith. She was never known about her late twin, and within days of Faith showing up Mira's personality begins to change. She makes false accusations about Charlie abusing her, and DCF is brought in and breaks up the family. Desperate to save her family, Charlie calls on Winston Fry, a renowned psychic to come and help, but will even he be able to save Mira?

The action in this novel is non-stop and it's the first book in a long time that not only kept me up reading past my bed time, but also had me sneaking pages at my desk at work. Absolutely amazing read, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Disturbing supernatural child possession story, where mum and dad Charlie and Clint Abbott find out that their six year old daughter has been taken over by her evil twin.
Enter raving mad obsessive social worker Shannon who try's every trick to split the family up, but acts like a character from a pantomime.

I've read a majority of this book in a day and a half! The characters, as with all of her novels, grab you and take you on a ride of ups and downs. Once you think you have it all figured out, WOW, KEEP READING because it isn't over until the last page. It didn't surprise me that I felt the usual letdown after finishing a Kimberly Shursen book. I anxiously await the next!

Wow! From the moment I began this novel, it had me on edge, curiously wanting to know more. I have a six year old daughter so I became attached to Mira right away. Charlie and Clint are a complex couple with a devoted love to one another that carries them throughout the entire book. The antagonist had me yelling at her in my head and I felt the emotions of Charlie strongly as she navigates through her journey with Mira. The plot was well developed, dark yet intriguing and the epilogue had me curious as to what will happen next. Shursen’s novels never disappoint. Thank you to the author for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!

This book had me from the very beginning. I couldn't put it down! I love that it is in my home state of Iowa in a real town with an exit off of I-80. The twists and turns in this book are amazing and unanticipated. Kimberly is a very talented author, and I'm reading every book she writes.

My first book from this author

I didn't know what to expect when I started this tale and was swept right into the Abbott family's story. The flow was good, the characters fairly well developed and the plot line is (For me) very possible.
I enjoyed reading Miracle very much and I believe you will too.

Miracle

Really enjoyed the book. Hardly able to put it down. Hoping this means there’s a sequel in how it ended? Would have liked to have known that before buying. Not always crazy when the story ends as if there’s another book but this isn’t disclosed in the beginning.
