“I accidentally told my psycho ex that we’re engaged…”
That’s not exactly what I had in mind to do with my new neighbor. The minute Scarlett crossed my driveway, my dirty mind was all over her curves. And as a single dad, I never get involved. But I’ll be a good neighbor and help her out. Pretend to be her fiancé. Keep her warm and safe at night. But I find myself wanting this to be real. And my little daughter is falling for her too. This woman is becoming the purpose of my existence. I'll destroy the b@stard who dares to harm her.
Scarlett baby, you'll be safe. And mine.
Love Next Door is a stand-alone novel of 80000 words. As always, lots of love and romance and a very satisfying HEA! I’ve also included some bonus novels for your reading enjoyment.
I really enjoyed this latest book by Ms Siren. Scarlet and Cameron are such a sexy, hot pair. Especially once you get past Cameron's rough exterior. Scarlet has moved to Nashville in order to get away from her controlling and abusive ex boyfriend, Isaac who doesn't seem to understand that he and Scarlet are over. Cameron is a police officer and single father who is trying to raise his daughter in the quiet neighborhood he lives in. When Scarlet moves in she is helped by her best friend Hannah and two other friends. Cameron upon seeing the two women snaps at her about not parking the moving truck she is using for too long. When he later sees they are joined by to male friends he hopes that the four of them are not all his new neighbors and that they will not be having parties all the time. Scarlet seems to run into Cameron more than once after moving in. She can't deny the attraction to him but is not ready to let her guard down. Soon her ex is taunting her again, leaving messages and calling her. He even finds out where she has moved to and she becomes afraid of him. She believes the way to get him to finally leave her alone is to say that she is engaged and that the man is a police officer. Cameron doesn't like the idea but agrees to it. The two have been getting close and his protective nature makes him want to make sure nothing happens to her. At the same time he needs to keep his daughter safe. He is torn between protecting them both. This is a very well written book with twists and turns along the way. Can Cameron finally let Scarlet into his heart and keep both her and his daughter safe? I loved the HEA and highly recommend this book.
Intense passion, fear, denial, unwavering love, and a bond like no other. These are just some of the things flowing back and forth between Cameron a single dad and Cop whose life revolves around his daughter Ella and his job and the new neighbor Scarlett, an intelligent, passionate woman with a past that refuses to leave her alone. Dangerous circumstances and a spur of the moment outburst put them in each other's lives, knowing a relationship is out of the question. Ella and Cameron proceed with the fake arrangement idea until it stops seeming so fake, and their lives become a tricky, dangerous, heart bursting and beautiful eye-opening catastrophe! Sexiness Galore in Tia Sirens newest novel! Add in that eerie suspense and these dang men who cannot get out of their heads, and women who cannot leave well enough alone, ( I mean really why antagonize the psycho? ) and you a have got a twisted up romance, with huh, no kidding! I thoroughly enjoyed! Some well-rounded characters, an excellent timeline, humorous, while well written. It had messiness that drove me crazy between the characters, but it gave it a more appealing, " real " feel.
Hooked from the very start, this is a one sitting read for me. One I would suggest checking out for yourself!
Oooh I love this fake fiance romance. A hot cop single dad next door and a girl who's running from crazy ex. Yes it has everything, from suspense and sweetness and plenty of steaminess. There's hard topic topic that got me cringe and totally can feel the struggles and pains. A bit predictable for me, but with all the drama and love, I love this story and enjoyed it.
As for characters, I love Scarlett and Cameron. I admire Scarlett a lot, after what she's been through she's still sassy and strong. And Cameron, loveeee how protective he is, it's hard to not love this sexy single dad. Love their banter and the sparks from beginning.
If you love fake fiance romance read with suspense and plenty drama, you'll love this one.

What a book or should I say books as you get 4 full length HEA love stories for the price of one. Love Next Door is her latest book, where we meet new to Nashville Scarlett who's moved to get away from her abusive ex & she sees it as a good start of a fresh start & to become a music producer. Then there's her sexy moody next door neighbour Cameron who's a cop & a single dad since his wife who had died a few yrs before hand. But heck it's not just seeing how great he is with Ella his 5 yrs old, he's protective to those he loves. Things change quite quickly when Scarlett's ex tracks her down & Cameron sees the kinda man she's escaping from. So it's really from then that we see things steps up a notch between these 2 neighbours & at the same time Cameron starts to work with the DEA. So we see how their lives change in the matter of weeks. A BEAUTIFUL LOVE STORY.
Then we have The awesome The Baby Plan where we meet recently divorced Lara McCall who's wanted a child & really by herself, so she goes fertility clinic to get started. The doctor Mason Chambers, though sees who he's going to be helping her out & is so shocked to see that it's his old girlfriend, sister of his then best mate Brian. But as soon as he sees her his old feelings are there, but her feelings changed with the way things ended for them, not knowing his real reason for disappearing on her. He does REALLY want to help her out but not artificially he WANTS to do it the traditional way. So here we see how these 2 will work out & heck you just want them to reconnect...
Book 3 Blind Date With a Billionaire. Here we meet unknown artist/curator of a gallery Madison, who's been set up with her best mate Charlotte's cousin's best mate/business partner Zach who agrees as he just sees it as it'll be another notch on his bed post to take a girl's virginity. But heck he didn't expect or really want to make it long term as he doesn't do them, but there's this connection between these 2 that develops quite quickly, but things do take a downward turn when he did something she told him that wasn't allowed in the art gallery business, but he thought he was doing the right thing. So here we see the good & not so good of this outcome. But heck another GREAT READ.
Then there's Book 4 Double Daddies. Here we meet Plastic Surgeons Mark & Jake who BOTH are such players whom they would share at times & others just go ahead on their own. And Brooke their new nurse, who they at first said whom they wouldn't touch but heck if you've got that HOT CONNECTION with each other you have to go through with it. So, So HOT & SEXY.
And I did re-read a couple of the books with in this edition & loved them....
Love Next Door By Tia Siren Brought to you by OBS reviewer Heidi
Scarlett’s ex can’t seem to grasp the fact that their relationship is over. Now, he’s gone one step two far by busting out all her car windows with a baseball bat while she was inside the vehicle! Afraid for her life, her parents send her to Nashville to get away from him. They rent her a big house in a nice neighborhood in hopes to keep her safe. And an added bonus is her new sexy, but grouchy neighbor is a cop! She may not be too fond of him, but Scarlett feels better knowing that Cameron is right next door if anything should happen.
Cameron is a single dad of five year old, Ella. Her mom was taken from them unexpectedly when she lost her fight with cancer. Since then Cameron hasn’t been able to move on, but instead devotes his life to his little girl. But strangely enough, his new neighbor ignites something inside of him that hasn’t been awakened since his wife.
However, when Scarlett’s ex finds her and starts causing problems Cameron has trouble battling his desire to protect this enticing woman. Unfortunately, protecting her could cause his daughter to be in danger and Cameron will have to make a choice between the two.
This was an okay read. It definitely had its faults though. I didn’t think that Scarlett was all that smart when she kept talking to her ex. My estimation of her went down even further when she told him she was engaged! Hasn’t she heard the stories of possessive guys going off the deep end with news like that? I also found the book to be a little too repetitive with Cameron doing his push and pull thing when it came to being involved with Scarlett. One minute he couldn’t get enough of her and the next he was pushing her away to protect Ella. You can’t have it both ways, dude, just choose and stick with it!
Toward the end of the book I thought the author was building up to some climatic event, but it never happened. I thought the couple made up way to easily and I thought they rushed things too much romantically at that point.
There were also a few places in this book where the wrong character name was listed so I found that to be slightly obnoxious.
Overall, I did enjoy the story though, despite it’s shortcomings. It was a fast and easy read that kept me interested enough to keep turning the pages.
There were some detailed sex scenes in this one, which shouldn’t come as a big surprise based on the cover of the book. So, if you are offended by that kind of thing, you may want to avoid it. But if you like getting your heart pumping, then by all means check it out.
Going into the book, I read the summary and knew that Scarlett was running from a psycho ex and that Cameron was going to be her protector even though he has a small child; however, one of the things that irritated me most about Scarlett was how selfish she was. Yes, selfish. **** A little bit of a spoiler here*** She had the gall to get pissed at Cameron because he didn't jump to go along with her engagement lie she told her ex. 1) He has a young child that he needs to protect. Why would you want to do anything that could put your child in harms way, especially someone he barely knows and met. Yes, he's a police officer and his duty is to protect and serve, but for her to actually get pissed because he basically put his child before her just rubbed me the wrong way. ALSO, if you have an ex that is a psycho, WHY, WHY on earth would you leave your door unlocked and have music blaring?? I'm sorry, I would be making sure every door and window was locked if I had an psycho ex looking for me. One last thing, here Cameron was trying to give her sound advice (after all, he's a cop and knows what he's talking about), she was kind of b*tchy to him instead of appreciating his concern and wisdom.
Had Scarlett not been like that in this story, I probably would have rated this book a bit higher, but she had me so irritated that it turned me off from the story some. The book was okay, but on Goodreads, that's a 2 star, but I don't feel that is an accurate rating. So I am giving it a 3 star.
The book has some bonus content that I have not read, but I do plan to. This is the first book I have read by this author.
This was an emotional read by Tia Siren about Scarlett, a young, attractive woman who has been uprooted to leave her vengeful, violent ex who is hell bent on making her life miserable. When her parents intervene and rent her a house in Nashville, she reluctantly heads there by herself in hopes of finding peace and also a job as a music producer. Her first hours there, she encounters her cranky, handsome cop neighbor, Cameron who is helping to fight the area’s drug trafficIt’s fortuitous for her that he’s there to help protect her while she helps open the doors to his heart, ones that have been closed off since losing his wife and the mother of his precious little girl, Ella. Not only is Cameron intrigued by Scarlett but Ella is as well, and when Scarlett’s ex’s jealousy is heightened when he sees the couple together, young Ella is caught in the middle. When Cameron’s home is torched, and he and Ella lose all their belongings, he realizes that Ella’s safety is utmost and he breaks it off with Scarlett. It’s heartbreaking as this couple fight their sexual attraction as he learns all is not as it seems, and decides if she’s worthy of the fight to keep her in their lives. This is a well written, intriguing, lust and love filled story that I highly recommend. There’s plenty of intrigue, and side stories to keep you turning page after page.
Even though I enjoyed reading the book, I have mixed feelings about the characters. I think the author did a good job in how an abused woman thinks. Scarlet had been in an emotionally abusive for years with Isaac. When things started to escalate, Scarlet's parents manage to talk her into moving to Nashville in order to hide. Regardless of how many times her parents and best friend tell her about how horrible he was for and to her, Scarlet still keeps coming up with excuses for his behavior. Her new next door neighbor is a cop named Cameron. He is a real jerk towards her when they first meet. He has a daughter that he is trying to protect and makes assumptions about Scarlet and her friends. She tries to convince him that she is being stalked but he plays it off that she is trying to get attention. After her place is trashed, he finally believes her and his protective instinct comes out. When they finally hook up, he tries to back away because of the baggage she has following her. Meanwhile, a tragedy strikes Cameron's home and he is more convinced than ever to keep Scarlet away from his daughter. When someone from Cameron's life turns out to be elusive, he doesn't know what to do or think. When Scarlet ends up helping Cameron make a breakthrough on one of his cases, he finally decides he does want her in his life and that no matter what he tries to do to keep his daughter safe, there is always going to be dangers in the world.
Scarlett was just moving into a new place and a new town because her stalker ex wouldn't let her be. It just so happens that her neighbor is a cop and that has her feeling a little better. But then the phone calls start and she comes home to flowers on her stoop and she gets really scared. Cameron is attracted to his new neighbor but with his daughter he doesn't have much time for anything else. He feels bad that he can't do anything to help her with her ex so he invites her over for dinner with him and his daughter. Things click between them and they end up having sex. Even though Cameron usually stays away from drama he can't seem to make himself leave Scarlett alone and offers to be the fake fiancée she created to try and get her ex to move on. What will they would when their fake relationship quickly turns real? Can Cameron keep Scarlett safe?
This was an amazing story that will have your attention from the first page. The chemistry between Cameron and Scarlett is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I can't wait to read more by this author in the future. I would recommend this to any book lover.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. I enjoyed it so much I bought my own copy.
A great read about Cameron, a single dad who is a cop and his new neighbour, Scarlett who moved there to get away from her abusive and crazy ex. Their first meeting isn’t pleasant as Cam ends up being a little testy with her, not warming her up at all. Scarlett is still recovering from her ex’s abusive ways and when Cam finds out about it, he tries to avoid Scarlett, he doesn’t want his daughter to be caught in the cross fire. But as they get to know one another and his daughter takes a liking to her, he can’t deny his attraction but there are forces working against them, her ex for one and his job that brings him enemies...can they work it out ? A great read with a devoted dad, a strong woman, steamy scenes and a push and pull between them that kept my interest before it became too much. Cam’s indecision about being with Scarlett was for good reason but he couldn’t help himself as he kept pulling her towards him and then pushing her away a few times. I also enjoyed how Scarlett gained her confidence with Cam and was able to confront her ex w/o running away. Only thing missing for me was her ex not getting any justice, and I wasn’t too keen on him being another woman’s problem. *I voluntarily read an advanced copy and expressed my honest opinion*
This was definitely a cute book to read. Very hot and steamy, but also very graphic and vulgar which made it that much more appealing. I bought this book on a whim because I had seen a small preview about the book and found it interesting. It was very inexpensive and well worth the money. Scarlett trusted one man to be her everything and he preyed on her weakness. It isn't until he had became violent that she realized how bad her situation had been. Her parents rented her a house south from them to get her away from DV. Scarlett struggles to find out who she is without her ex, but also struggles with the Ex coming back and taunting her day to day life though she moved away from him. Cameron, a young, single, police officer, has a 5 year old little girl who is his world. When he see's his neighbor moving in, he had no intentions of their being anything between them. But little did he know that Scarlett would become his life. She alone made him enjoy the little things that he stopped caring about when his wife died. If your looking for hot and heavy, but also a good mystery, this would be a wonderful book to read.
Wow! Tia girl you have blown me away with this one! Outstanding.
The new neighbor next door, Scarlett is a knock out. But she comes with baggage. Dangerous baggage. She is running from an abusive relationship. Cameron is the cop next door with an attitude and he will protect her. But when the danger hits close to home, the only thing he can think to do is run.
This book was amazing. Not only was it relatable, but it had an unexpected twist to it. This book had my attention from the very first page. I could not put it down. Not only did it have a great story line, it had wonderful characters. Cameron and Scarlett had amazing chemistry. Cameron is an alpha male with sex appeal coming out of his pores. Scarlett is a petite, sweet and adorable woman. The two fit together perfectly.
This book has it all drama, mystery, danger, hot sex and love. So if you are looking for a thrilling ride, then this is the book for you.
TOTAL KNOCK OUT!!! Alrighty then! This one has it all. And when I say all, I mean that dipping, speeding, screaming rollercoaster ride thats guaranteed to thrill and chill. You have all the suspense and drama you can handle plus a side of danger that lurks in the shadows. The characters were exceptionally realistic and believable with volcanic proportion chemistry between the two main characters. Their connection is so steamy and hot you can feel it throughout the entire tale. A full range of emotions that will leave you reeling even after you finished the word. Dangers knocking at the door and no ones safe. The scenes were explosive and graphically detailed so precisely that it comes alive before your eyes. Twists, turns and unexpected surprises that kept me captivated from the start. Tia Siren did a phenomenal job bringing this read together beautifully. Great job Siren and thanks for sharing this little jewel with us.
This is one heartfelt love story about a single Dad, Cameron and a young woman running away from a bad ex boyfriend, Scarlett. When they first meet Cameron is not a nice guy and Scarlett is a bit turned off by his behavior. Cameron invites Scarlett over for pizza and the start of their friendship moves very quickly into more. Cameron knows that Scarlett has some scary baggage and only wants to protect his young daughter, Ella. They have a connection and even feel more then just causal hook ups. When Scarlett’s ex comes around and starts trouble Cameron backs away and hurts Scarlett. There are twist you will not see coming and my heart goes out to Scarlett for all the bad that has happened to her. Will Cameron realize what he did before it’s too late and can Scarlett ever forgive Cameron. Can they overcome all their baggage and find happiness together? I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
OMG! I absolutely LOVED this latest release from Tia Siren. Fair warning, their may be some triggers in this book for some. Scarlett is going everything she can to escape a crazy, stalker ex-boyfriend. Cameron is the hot cop next door that will do everything and anything to protect his daughter. When these two first meet, things don't go very well. But it doesn't take long for Cameron to want her more than anything. Even if that means getting involved in her past. There are some scary moments that make your hair stand on end but others that are so touching and heartwarming. This book gave me all the feels! Loved it! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. Hero, Cameron = 5/5 Heroine, Scarlett = 5/5 Chemistry, = 5/5 Sex, = 5/5 Plot = 5/5 Mystery = 4/5 Action = 4/5 Darkness = 4/5 Humor = 2/5 POV = Dual Would I recommend this book = yes Would I re-read this book = yes Would I read future books by this author = yes
I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book. I love a good single dad romance and this did not disappoint! I loved it. Scarlett is gorgeous, sexy, sweet, girl next door, but she has baggage, and hers comes in the form of an abusive ex, she’s moved on but he hasn’t and he’s dangerous. When Cameron sees her, he’s attracted to her and it undeniable that she feels the same way and when the past comes back to haunt her, he will do anything to protect her and his daughter. This book has it all, it’s sexy, drama filled, deliciously hot and steamy and danger, with all of this happening will these two be able to beat the odds stacked against them and come out on top? If you are dying to know, then you will have to read for yourself and grab this NOW! Highly recommend this book. LOVED IT!
AN ABSOLUTELY AMAZING DELIGHTFUL ROMANCE by Tia Siren . She writes a fast-paced strong thrilling compelling structure storyline and well developed characters in Scarlett Morgan and Cameron Campbell and supporting characters in Hannah , Noah and Ella in a exquisitely brilliant Second Chance Romance with a few twist turns obstacles in a well written story . The story is drama rom-com adventure emotional rollar coaster provocative captivating sizzling chemistry strength of character intriguing intoxicating intense hostilities suspense and captivating from start to finish 💋 💖 . I love and highly recommend this book to everyone 😆 😙 . I can't wait for the next book . I voluntarily ARC for honest review . AN ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTFUL 5 STARS RATING ! 😍
I really liked this book. Scarlett was running away from an abusive boyfriend and her parents helped her move to a nice neighborhood right next door to a police officer. She comes up with a lie to her ex that she is engaged to her neighbor which is a cop to scare him off, well that doesn't work and things start to happen to her and Cameron. Cameron is the cop next door who is also a widow with a beautiful intelligent little girl, who is excited to have her new neighbor coming over to spend time with her and her daddy. Although as you imagine, she doesn't just come over for dinner, but he struggles as his number one priority is his daughter before himself or anyone else. Love that part of him the most, because all parents should think first of their child than themselves. Its a cute romantic suspenseful story where at the end they are all living together.
You can rely on Tia Siren to come up with the perfect read and Love Next Door does her proud! Scarlett Morgan was hiding from Isaac an ex boyfriend who was a controlling sociopath, a dangerous one at that! She moves to Nashville with the help of her best firend Hannah, and wow her next door neighbour Cameron the cop, does not particularly make her welcome. Will Scarlett be safe from Isaac? And will he find her? Can the protective cop next door keep her safe? Will Isaac ever let her go? Cameron has the most adorable, intelligent, insightful 5 year old daughter Ella, she must be protected at all cost. This book was a real page turner and I thoroughly enjoyed this highly recommended must read. I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.
They always say things happen for a reason. I hate that Scarlett had to go through all that she did, but if Isaac hadn’t been such a crazy sociopath, she never would have met the man she was meant to be with. Cameron lost his wife three years prior and was raising their daughter alone. He’s a fantastic father which always puts her first, even when it’s devastating for his budding relationship. Ella is smart as a whip and notices the chemistry between Cam and Scarlett almost immediately. When tragedy strikes, it’s understandable how he feels about protecting Ella, but it was wrong to go about it the way he did. A little better explanation could have saved so many hurt feelings and pain in the end.
This story is fantastic and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.
I received an ARC of this fantastic book and I am writing this review voluntarily! Love Tia's books! Scarlett is running away from an abusive ex and with her parent's help, ends up in a rental house in a family neighbourhood. They feel she would probably be safer there. As she is moving in her neighbour comes out of his house spouting about a 4 hour truck parking limit! She finds out he is a cop! Lol Could be good luck having a cop next door right? The thing is he also has an adorable little girl he is overprotective of. As they get to know each other her ex Issac finds her. She tells him Cameron, is her fiance and Cam warns him to stay away! Bad things start to happen and Scarlett and Cam get pulled in so many directions! It is a great story line with steamy sex and danger.
Scarlett is running from a crazy stalker ex. She moves in next door to Hot a cop Cameron. Not only is he a Hot Cop that takes protecting and serving to another level he is also a widowed father. Scarlett makes the mistake of telling her ex that she is engaged to Cameron. Cameron worries that the ex is psycho and could harm his little girl. He tries to distance himself, but the chemistry they have is to strong. This book has a lot of ups and downs with their fake engagement and other issues. Will they become a couple in the end. Trust me it’s worth reading. I couldn’t put it down. Read in 1 day!!!
***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review***Very strong characters. Scarlett has left home, moving to Nashville, to get away from her controlling, abusive boyfriend. She moves next door to a cop Cameron. He and his best friend, Noah, are beat cops. Cameron has acted unfriendly to Scarlett and Hannah as they try to empty the moving truck, giving them four hours to get it out of the street. Cameron has a young daughter, Ella. When Cameron found that Scarlett's ex-boyfriend was a psycho, he began to check on her and eventually had a chance to tell the ex to stay away from her. A great read!
Another fantastic story by Tia Siren and this is Scarlett’s and Cameron’s story. Scarlett was on the run from her abusive ex but it’s lucky that she has a sexy cop who lives next door. Cameron is a cop and a single father who is very protective of the people he loves. When Scarlett has trouble with her ex she tells him that she is engaged to Cameron, so will Cameron be able to her?. A well written storyline with great characters, very emotional scenes but then you also have the very hot scenes everything you could ever want in a romance. I loved this story and I know you will too, a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.
Awesome contemporary single dad romance. Cameron is a single dad to 5 year old Ella. He is also a Nashville police officer. Scarlett recently moved into the neighborhood. Her parents rented the house in their names because Scarlett's ex is a known abuser. Finally, it got to the point she moved away from home in hopes her ex wouldn't find her. Unfortunately, it didn't take long for the ex to be a threat. Scarlett met and liked both Can and Ella right away but dangerous things start happening. I received a complementary copy of this book and chose to write a review. I very much look forward to reading future books by Ms. Siren.
Well written short story about a woman who tells her abusive ex-boyfriend that she is engaged with her neighbor. What they did not expect was to fall in love. But can they act on it. A mix of drama, danger, trust, lust, love, protectiveness, passion and emotional ups and downs. It has some twists in it. A sweet and steamy novel with lots in it. About letting the walls down and let the one that fate has choosen for you in. The characters are likeable and well described. I like it is written in dual POV, which gives the reader both the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. That makes the story even more emotional and captivating. It is engaging and recommendable.
This was a Kindle Unlimited compilation. I want to say that someone recommended it but I can't recall at this point. The other books within the compilation I noted separately except for "Double Daddies" which did not come up on Goodreads for some reason. I have enjoyed all of the stories. Like many eBooks these days there were quite a few typos. The worst were in the Double Daddies book where the pronouns and POV were so important to keep straight since it was a menage book, but there were quite a few errors when the POV was wrong. Besides all of that, the sex scenes were really well-done and quite steamy in all of the books, and I thought the characters were relatable. Decent stories.
