This is in an illustrious group, a second book that is better than the first, well at least in my opinion that it.
Kay and Ty stole my heart in Fractured Lies (book one in the series) but with this I think I may just hand my soul over completely, they were just superb. I get that the author has indicated that this can be read as a standalone (and it can) but I would really ask that you read the first book to get the back story of this pair, it will help you to get the most from this book.
I loved Kay and Ty, I felt proud of them, what they had overcome, what they had achieved despite the tragedy that had blighted them. They had their own form of happy, their own beautiful relationship but will a blast from Ty’s past rip them apart?
The pair of them had secrets left yet to reveal, and while Ty has others that hold the potential to come between him and Kay. It is Kay’s own secret that is the keystone of their story, her pain plagues her, infiltrates her dreams and haunts her, but letting Ty into the entirety of the past eh shoulders alone is too much for her to consider, too much for her to bear because she knows that the horror she keeps inside may just be the final nail in their relationship and she isn’t ready to risk losing him because of her past.
Can they keep not only their secrets but also each other?
When disaster comes knocking can Ty and the team do what they do best and make sure that everyone is returned to the fold safe and sound?
I loved the twists and turns that the story takes as they continue their journey. There are chapters that had me on the edge of my seat and others that certainly tugged on the heartstrings.
I applaud the author for a book that I simply could not put down, characters that were written beautifully and a storyline that held my attention from start to finish.

Wow, this book blew me away!! This is the second part of this series and it continues straight from the end of Fractured Lies book #1. Kay and Ty had me hooked of their story from the very beginning. This is an interesting, suspenseful, and twisted storyline. I loved the secondary characters as well.
This author has done a fantastic job in writing this storyline, and I was captivated throughout. I cannot wait to read the next book in this series! Awesome job Abigail, I will definitely be added you to my favourites list, and recommending your work to all!!

BRILLIANT....KEPT ME INTRIGUED TO THE END!!!!
Abigail Davies you have just blown me out of the water with this one! I couldn't put it down. Such a wonderful story about two people who have such tragic backgrounds, yet are still able to find happiness in their life.
This is the continuing story of Kay and Ty, who were introduced in the book Fractured Lies, the first in this series. Although it is a continuing story you can still read it as a standalone. However I would recommend reading Book One so that you get their background story.
Kay and Ty have a beautiful relationship, built on trust and friendship - oh and of course HOT sex. This is almost ripped from them by a woman who has emerged from Ty's past. What secret does she hold that Ty is unable to tell Kay about? Will she cause trouble between Kay and Ty? Kay on the other hand is still battling her nightmares of her past. She has yet to tell Ty everything that has happened to her. Will her secret break them apart?
Just as things are looking up....disaster strikes and Ty's Security Team must do all that they can to save the life of one of their own. I will give away NO SPOILERS - you MUST read the book.
Abigail has written a such an intriguing story. It will keep you hooked from beginning to end. There is plenty of action to keep you wanting to find out what happens in the end. But beware you may need to have a tissue or two by your side when reading.
Excellent follow up to Book One.

Another astounding read from this new author! She writes with stunning precision and knows how to keep readers on their toes. From love to drama, this book has everything a book should have. A fantastic array of secondary characters and the puzzle of the storyline keeps you holding on to the edge of your seat.
I loved Fractured Lies but I have to say, I loved this so much better! Though the cliffhanger in the first book had be gawping at the book saying 'what the heck do I do now?', this book was the catalyst that blew me to pieces.
The mix of personalities in the characters haven't changed, the author knows what she's doing. It's refreshing to read something that isn't just revolved around the main characters and we get to see the other characters in full light too but from the heroine and alpha's points of view.
Stunning read, suspenseful and jaw dropping.. I can not wait for the next one to release!

Received a copy of this book for an honest review.
This story picks up where Fractured Lies leaves us screaming for more. I was impressed by the way the storyline took several unexpected turns and that it was a smooth transition.
The relationship between Ty and Kaylee is not always smooth sailing but once they get past the ex factor they quickly become joined at the hip. I love the dynamics between all of these characters. They step in and become each others family. Eli has everyone wrapped around his little fingers. The plot here is more than I expected and I couldn't get enough, If this was a movie I would be on the edge of my seat chewing my fingernails.
Terrific book. I hope to see more about the rest of the team soon,

Wow, just wow. I really liked book 1 but book 2 blew me away. I thought I knew what was happening and I didn't. This book has it's dark moments but nothing quite as intense as Book 1. There is such a lovely romance with Kay and Ty add to it the interesting, twisting suspense and you are left with a book you just can't put down.
When you get to the end and you are truely sad you know you've read a good book. Can't wait for more in the series and hope Corey comes back soon, he sounds like he had a good story too

This story was hott... sexy.... sad... upsetting.. and so much fun to read. I really enjoyed the characters and their angst and issues.. I enjoyed their love and heartache and happiness. I loved how intriquing they are and how interesting they are. The writing was very well done also. I felt as if I was a part of their lives and their actions and their love and their problems. The writing made me happy... it made me sad.. it made me feel.. I was a part of them and who they were. It was awesome and I loved it

Amazing
Amazed at the way this author has made me hooked by her astonishing imagination. I could not put this novel down just like with her first novel fractured lies. I personally cannot wait for the next in the series.

Consuming and Totally Amazing!!!!!!!!!!
This is book two in the MAC Security Series and once you have read Fractured Lies you will be downloading this straight away.
Previously we met Kaylee and Tyson in Fractured Lies and learned there back ground and how they met. Kaylee and Tyson have there first experience of problems that may occur in there relationship when both of them have a past. This book is about there worlds colliding and the pasts that both of them most definitely didn’t want to see again becomes EXPOSED…..
The chemistry and trust that lay between Kaylee and Tyson in this book was amazing. He always knew what she needed and he treated her little boy Eli like he was his own son. There relationship very early on became a FOREVER for both of them….. major swoon!!!!!!!!!!!
There is a great sense of family unity between the workers in MAC Security and that runs through the whole book and also goes for Eli that little boy has new uncles and an auntie that adore him. Eli is the centre of there worlds preschool runs, movie watching anything his wee heart desires. I just love this………
In this book we see a new Kaylee, she is a stronger brighter woman. Kaylee had come so far from the abuse she endured at the hands of Eli’s father Max. She had to recover from intensive enjuries but with Tyson taking care of her she bounced back. For a good few weeks after the attack she found that staying behind the gates of the compound was a safety net but she knew she must venture past them. With Tysons help and encouragement she did.
The job they are all working on it taking up alot of time and they don’t seem to be getting any further but with Tysons wife (only legally) showing up and being a major suspect they desperately need to get better leads. But just when everything is going well trouble strikes and Kaylee is in major danger. Just when Tyson learns of Kaylee being taken Corey Kaylee’s brother shows up and wants to know where she is and to add more fuel to the situation he hasn’t been told about Kaylee and Tysons relationship. Tensions are running high and its time to call in all favours no matter what they cost. Can Tyson save Kaylee before its too late…..
I love love loved this whole series it had me on edge for the whole two books. I felt like I couldn’t put it down, the love and affection between Kaylee and Tyson had we swooning, then all the drama with MAC Security had me on edge and then Eli that wee boys life changed so much for the better and reading how much his confidence was rebuilt pulled on my heart strings.
I gave this book a well deserving 5 stars…

Exposed continues Ty and Kay’s story from where Fractured Lies left us, and once again I found myself hooked and unable to put my Kindle down.
This second book in the MAC Security series has all the suspense of the first one. With twists and turns that I absolutely loved, plus a few that I was expecting, I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing Ty and Kay’s story unfold. This couple has a place in my heart and I also have grown ever so fond of those within the couple’s close circle – I cannot wait to read their stories too. Then of course, to bring out different emotions from the reader, there are some people that we will all love to hate!
There are scenes that hurt my heart and some readers may need a TW for, however, once again I felt that the author penned them with care. I experienced a range of emotions throughout both books and I loved this. I did wonder if it was appropriate for Kay to become so quickly involved with the team, and then I considered that all she has been through may have her seeing things from a different perspective/angle which would be useful. I believe she proved herself to be a credit.
I highly recommend Fractured Lies and Exposed to you to read. I am looking forward to continuing reading this series.

Kay feeling her world crumble are what she though was starting with her and Ty, leaves, not being able to watch them anymore and now she saw Ty with his wife she felt broken again just as she was starting to heal. Seeing Ty, the next morning she lets him explain and realises that while she has secrets so did he and only hopes that they can both tell each other before it tears them apart.
With everything involved, Ty’s ex, the case and Kay’s ex being no where to be found everyone is being overly careful. They don’t seem to be able to get a break and no one listens when Kay mentions Ty’s ex.
Everyone is happier, Kay and Eli and Ty are slowly making themselves a family, the chemistry visible between Kay and Ty, but the worry of the case and the fear that they can’t find Kay’s ex doesn’t sit well with Ty. While it looked like everyone was going to get their happily ever after, that’s when Kay’s ex decides to show up and all hell breaks loose.
What happens at the end leaves you turning pages and Ty realises he never got the chance to tell her he loves her and hopes he still has time.
With everything involved, Ty’s ex, the case and Kay’s ex being no where to be found everyone is being overly careful. They don’t seem to be able to get a break and no one listens when Kay mentions Ty’s ex.

What happened to the TY and Kay from the first book?
Ty’s self-righteousness and pompous attitude was nauseating. His obsession with Kay and choosing her over everyone in his life—people he claimed to by his family—was
not endearing, it was disconcerting.
I could not stand him by the end of book. What solidity my intense dislike for him was him going to Kay’s brother, because he wanted to do things the “the right way”, yet stating that if he didn’t get the answer he wanted from her brother, he would do what he wanted regardless.
I am all about growth, but 22-year-old Kay going from victim to counselor/fixer of all woes for everyone on the team, and gun toting shero was actually comical. “I will take FAR-FETCHED for 500 Alec.”
The only reason I did not DNF the book was because of the secondary characters. I really hope that Ty and Kay is not prominent in their stories, because I honestly cannot with them.
For the love of everything that is holy, why can’t this author hire an editor? 🤨

It begins badly. A few chapters in the story and already, all the capital of sympathy acquired in volume 1 is scattered.
The main character acts like a brainless little idiot (in the middle of a mission, she leaves the camp and gives up her post because she feels betrayed, never asking for explanation).
Moreover, this mission side is not very credible. The more the author leaves room for the mission of MAC security, the more the story loses its credibility. Dragging a rookie like that, without any training, and putting her in the center of the action just because she's the boss's girlfriend, doesn't make any sense.
That a supposedly important mission is abruptly interrupted because the boss's girlfriend has a breakdown, that doesn't make any sense either.
to top it off, she has some silly thoughts. What passed as a battered and traumatized woman (volume 1) sounds less good in the new context.

Yes! Yes! Yes!
Exposed is the second book in the MAC Security Series and picks up with Kaylee and Ty right where Fractured Lies left off. At the end of book one, I was a little annoyed with Ty but let me tell you, he completely makes up for it. I love his alpha tendencies while he is still respectful of what Kaylee is going through and needs. This book will make you feel things…
This book was a difficult read because of some of the content. We got some of Kaylee’s situation in the last book but this book really took it up a notch. The situations portrayed were done realistically and very, very emotionally which made for an amazing and authentic story.
We got to see more of the gang as well as a few new characters who really added to the story. I adore Kay and Ty together and really hope to see more of them and their little family in the rest of the series.

We got to see more of the gang as well as a few new characters who really added to the story. I adore Kay and Ty together and really hope to see more of them and their little family in the rest of the series.

Again!! This book had me from the beginning to the end! I love love love the communication between Kay and Ty. I believe that's critical in a relationship so it makes theirs so much more real. Their love goes through so much and many surprises but they always end up stronger in the end whether they're together or not. The strength that both have taught each other is there. The feels were exposed and raw from the very beginning. You won't be disappointed! I'm addicted and I know you will be too!!

Exposed picks up from the jaw-dropping cliffy in Fractured Lies and takes the reader on a roller coaster ride of emotion, action, and suspense. Kay and Ty move from one bit of crazy to the next with barely a second to catch their breath, but they do manage to fit in some much needed conversations and sexy time. Lots of secrets are revealed and there are some interesting twists along the way - some I expected and some that blew me away. All in all, a great addition to the series and I look forward to seeing more of this great bunch of characters.

Kaylee and Ty are a couple with problems, mainly their exes. As they search for Max Ty's wife Serena comes into play and she's mixed up with some shady stuff. With everyone but Kaylee thinking she's just a coincidence things are starting to get intense around the office and at home. Can Kaylee and Ty weather this storm? This book changed me. Literally changed me. I started reading it feeling a certain way about abuse and came out healed. Abigail is that good! This book is wonderful and so incredibly well written by an amazing talent. I can't wait to see what she has in store for me next!!

The first book in this series ends in a big cliffhanger and this book dives right into the story from that point. It had me from the beginning and I just couldn't put it down. I loved this book more then the first which I really didn't think was possible and it was a fantastic conclusion to Kay & Ty's story.

Exposed is the second book of this series. In my personal opinion this one is better than the first one. There is more action and suspense. The character's have more of an edge or vulnerability to them, which I loved. I enjoy that the team is also a family that love and support each other. I enjoyed getting to know them better. I am excited to read more of this series along with the fantastic character's.

Book one ends on what is possibly the best cliff hanger I've read. Book two picks up in the same scene and continues from there with an exciting gripping story.
Abigail Davies has written another fantastic book here and I'm so glad this isn't the end of the story for the Mac Security guys.
In short I love this book, this series and this author - read it you won't regret it.

Firstly, if you haven't read book 1 Fractured Lies, then go get started, its ok i'll wait. Lol
I started this straight after finishing book 1, and let me say i absolutely loved it! The characters have such depth and the story will keep you engaged til the end. If you love a story with a close knit family unit, danger, and a few twists then this is a series you will want to get into!

For me the characters are great for the most part. I just thought for a security company of mainly ex special forces, they weren't all that great. I found the build up strong, but a little anti-climatic when leading on from the build up. I find Ty and Kay's connection is still off the charts and little Eli is to die for. It's kept me intrigued enough for more of the team.

Astounding, Wow this book from this author was just brilliant.Loving this story about Kay and Ty it kept me intrigued till the very end.There was a few twists to this second book that never let you up for a breath that keeps you reading till you devour the story to find out how it all pans out.You will not be disappointed at all in this second book, i am off now to download the next book in this amazing series.Five Huge Mac Stars.

I wasn't sure my heart or my nerves would cope with this one!! This takes off where Book one finished and my heart took an immediate hit! I really felt for Kaylee, but things aren't all as they seem and her and Tyson soon clear the air. But something is brewing and its not going to pretty. Buckle up butter cup, things are about to get bumpy! Gripped, again!

Woe
Absofreakinglutely loved this book. So much so that I read it in one sitting. I just couldn’t put it down. There were times I thought oh I know what’s going to happen but in the end there was more jaw dropping wth moments then I could ever have expected. Can’t wait to start the next book but first sleep!
