Do you believe that love can transcend time? Do you believe in reincarnation? 1817 Jasper Davenne walked into the large ballroom and his presence was felt instantly. At six feet four inches, he was taller than most of the men in the room. His dark wavy hair was in stark contrast to his beautiful sea green eyes. Jasper had come home to Louisiana from London England, for the sole purpose of attending his parent’s annual soiree, the Sorcerers Ball. As he turned to face a gentleman trying to get his attention he saw her—the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. The sight of Clarissa Trudeau took Jasper’s breath away. He knew the moment he laid eyes on her that she would be his forever. Present Day The sight of Charlotte Trudeau stopped James Donavan in his tracks. Why was he drawn to a woman that he had never met? He watched as her stilettos clicked across the tiled floor while she rushed for the elevator. The suit she wore, hugged all her curves as her long thick black hair swayed with her swift pace. James watched carefully as she entered the elevator and turned to face the front—then it struck him, he was looking at the most beautiful woman he had ever seen. He walked quickly to catch the elevator and got there just as the doors began to close. Travel two hundred years through the dark world of sorcery where love, betrayal, and loss is thrust into their lives. Follow souls moving in time as the love of Jasper and Clarissa, James and Charlotte maneuver through space and time. My love I will find, in another place, in another time

In Another Time: The Time Has Come https://amzn.to/2JaZzBv was an interesting combination of love and reincarnation. I liked both of the MCs very much. This book is a special kind of romance surrounded in magic of both the past and present. Given this description:
"Travel two hundred years through the dark world of sorcery where love, betrayal, and loss is thrust into their lives. Follow souls moving in time as the love of Jasper and Clarissa, James and Charlotte maneuver through space and time."
I had wondered how well the author would be able to keep the story interesting; that is, unique enough for a person to want to keep reading. In this regard, I can readily say, she succeeded. I finished the story in about a day. The sex scenes are detailed without being gratuitous, and the chemistry and attraction between these two is obvious, no matter which time period. I could have enjoyed a bit more of their story and wouldn't have minded an epilogue.
This story had great potential but didn't quite get there. Lovers forever separated by jealously and death get an opportunity two hundred years later to reunite for a second chance at love. The book could have used another read through -- a main character was called by the wrong name, and the spelling of the last name of the hero changed. The reason for the secrecy for the birthday party for the heroine's best friend wasn't revealed. The passion between both sets of lovers could have been ramped up ... Intimate Lips?! SMH ... No!
The author does have an easy breezy style of writing.
Clarissa and Jasper met at a time when their love was forbidden, but that didn't stop him from marrying her. Mary manipulated her way into a marriage contract with Jasper's parents who were unaware of her evil intentions. She kills Clarissa to have Jasper for herself. Jasper, in turn, puts a spell over himself and his soulmate should they meet again in another lifetime. 200 years later, they meet again. For Charlotte and James, it as love at first sight. They have to use powers handed down through the years to defeat the evil that has followed their love. I enjoyed this book.
This book really surprised me. The ending was alittle abrupt but it was a good read. Not sure if this was the start of a series or not. It has the potential to be a series with more of a back story. We need blanks filled in about Charlie and James. There are plenty of questions that were not answered and needed to be. This book had the potential to be a really good but needed more work. Again, not a bad read but it needed something more. I actually give this book 3.5 stars.
What an interesting concept. I've never read a book with sorcery. This one was good enough to start the process. I don't think it'd read a really deep one, this one was light and romantic. The ending was sorta flat, but still it was a good story.
I would say as a negative, there was some proofreading errors, but they were easy to fix as you read.
I read the first part of this book in Creole Nights which is was prompted me to purchase this book. I was disappointed that instead of carrying on from where the short story ended this book was largely a repetition of the story I had already read. There’s nothing more added in terms of James’ and Charlotte’s love story.
If read as a stand-alone it would probably be a good read but I felt duped. I bought this in the hopes of getting something more and got nothing
When the love of his life was murdered he couldn't go on. But their love was so strong that they were able to find each other centuries later. What liked that Sage did was not to go back and forth between present and the past. Jasper and Clarissa story was told first then James and Charlotte's.
Go with sorcerers, witches, ghosts and true love goes this book was all that and more...it was fantastic and in true good vs evil scenarios true love conquered all until the next time evil tries to rear its ugly head. Jasper/Clarissa were robbed but James/Charlotte prevailed...encore sequel in the future hopefully
I have always loved historical books this was interesting. I really liked how James and Charlotte handled their love at first site. They are still working on accepting their powers....another book maybe???
This story catapults you from the historical event that started the love story to present day. A beautifully written story of love concurring evil, an enjoyable read.
I really Jasper/James's and Clarissa/Charlotte's story. I'm glad Jasper and Clarissa was able to find their love and way back to each other after 200 yrs. I'm a sucker for happy endings. I really enjoyed the book.
I love how this story shows true love and transcend and reincarnate over time. One couple passed their love onto the next couple in a different time. I look forward to book 2 ! 😉
