A Star is Born
As you might of guessed by now I am a D.L. Savage fan and have read a lot of her books. The biggest issue I have with this story is how a straight guy with no bisexual tendencies took to the sissy lifestyle so easily. There was no questioning himself about his sexuality at all. Within a weeks time he went from straight to transitioning to being a sissy. Which I find that hard to swallow. However Adam / Amy took to being a sissy like a fish to water. Regardless to the outcome of the contest he did find his true self. The grammar and spelling was well done and I did enjoy the story with a bit more character development I think this story would be top knotch

What would you do for $100,000? That’s how Sissy Star begins, with a question we’ve all asked ourselves time to time. For our protagonist Adam, the question arises when he takes his roommate Kevin to audition for “Sissy Star.” The game show offers would-be sissies the chance to compete for a cash prize. Adam is lured into tryouts by the pretty Gwen,and given a wild card slot on the show.
From there, Kevin-turned-Candy gives Adam a crash course is being Amy, his sissy alter ego. As Amy competes against other sissies, the competition gets fierce and sexy! He will have to become the best sissy to claim the grand prize, but how deep do his desires go, and what is the true prize?
Sissy Star is my first read from D.L Savage, but I am certain it won’t be the last. Savage writes good characters, and I enjoyed following Adam though his transition to Amy. The story is littered with characters I enjoyed getting to know, whether it was the sexy Gwen or Amy’s roommate and mentor, Kevin.
When the story gets sexy, Savage pulls out all the stops in displaying a new sissy exploring her most forbidden desires, and the novella is not only a fun read, it’s a steamy one, too! Amy’s journey to true sissy pleasures explodes off the page. The biggest complaint I have is the handful of missing words and spelling errors that mar an otherwise fantastic read. They’re not so frequent it spoils the ride, but enough that I wished for another pass by an editor to make this a near-perfect sissy reading experience.
Highly recommended to those looking for a story- and character-driven slice of sissifying fun!

Turning into a Star
This story is about a college student going to a contest and winning to be the next top sissy star all cause his college roommate and a girl named Gwen said he would make a perfect sissy. He went through a competition for being a sissy and doing different things he didn't think that he could do, but in the end, he won the competition because he wasn't afraid of what other people thought of him anymore. I recommend this story to anyone who thinks that they have to impress everyone around them when they only have to empress themselves and stop being embarrassed about how or what others think of them.

Interesting concept
The idea that's someone could change their life and lifestyle basses on winning a contest was very interesting. The main character was good. The sex scenes were very good and fun. The use of being able to dress and do the things he/she did was fun. I enjoyed the author"'_writing style and concept.

Well written, longer than most of her stories.
SISSY STAR! It's a game, it's a television show, it's a competition, and there are BIG bucks on the line. Adam finds himself mesmerized by one of the producers and songwriter winds up in the running for entry into the competition. Sissy Star is his story of confusion, insecurity, acceptance and lust.

That was good fun
I'm not totally into the whole sissy thing, but it was a good voyage of discovery. Adam only went along to the Sissy Star audition to support his friend, but was talent spotted and the rest as they say is history.

Amazing story
The arrival of Amy is a common dream among crossdressers. The gift of freedom to live your own life is wonderful. Sissy is as a sissy does. This book deserves 10 stars.
