A strong and well written book on overcoming adversity through faith and will power. The author suggests many well thought out solutions and tips for how to better cope with the overwhelming feelings that you are experiencing. Using her own real life experiences as examples to reinforce her points, the author paints a vivid and sometimes heartbreaking reality, and helps the reader to understand what is happening to them and how to respond to the unexpected and the feelings that threaten to overwhelm the mind. The book is an ode to hope, how to take life's darkest moments and how to find peace and courage through faith. A must for all going through a difficult illness and for those of us who know someone who is. And yes, I am her son.
