A great book that I found because the authors son is also a hypnotist.

Mike Mandel speaks very highly of the Jacquin family and their modern hypnosis approach.

The book is plain English and easy to follow without any of the gibberish of many hypnosis resources.

I have always been fascinated by the world of hypnotherapy, and decided to give this a read after watching a couple of Derren Brown's shows on Netflix. The book itself is okay in the sense that it's interesting to see the scripts that hypnotherapists like Freddy Jacquin use. It's just impractical and you can't learn how to it just by reading this book.

Hypnosis

Very informative book on variety of techniques to utilize hypnosis. He emphasized practice of these techniques. He approached hypnosis in a respectful and achievable manner. As a person who has utilized hypnosis with thousands of clients myself, I found his summaries of techniques to be most helpful.

Excellent resource Hypnosis and NLP

I truly enjoyed this book from one of the well respected hypnotist in the hypnosis community. Excellent education material for the new and experienced hypnosis enthusiasts. I also enjoyed the additional material with NLP that is so powerful when combining with hypnosis. Quality and well written.

As a hypnotherapist and lecturer, I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this book. While I appreciate the effort to educate about hypnotherapy, I found the book deeply disappointing and, at times, alarming.

My Concerns:
Content Issues:
- Describing the use of hypnosis with a schizophrenic client in a florid state raises significant ethical concerns.
- The anecdote of kissing a client's bald spot feels inappropriate and unprofessional.
- There's a contradiction in Jacquin's narrative: after discussing his wife's advice to abandon stage hypnosis for credibility, he immediately describes techniques for hypnotizing individuals without their awareness.

Questionable Illustrations:
The inclusion of two images feels uneven. While the before-and-after picture of a weight loss success story is relevant, the semi-clad image of "Margaret Zelle AKA Mata Hari" seems unnecessary and could be seen as offensive by some readers.

Lack of Research Support:
The book predominantly features Jacquin's personal success stories without referencing substantial research to support the claims of efficacy in hypnotherapy. This absence of empirical evidence undermines the credibility of the content.

Positive Aspects:
There are some intriguing techniques discussed within the book. However, many of these can be found in more credible sources that provide a stronger foundation in hypnotherapy.

Conclusion:
Overall, while Jacquin's book attempts to share insights into hypnotherapy, it falls short in several key areas. The lack of research backing, ethical considerations, and questionable content choices detract from its potential value. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for more reliable, up to date resources for a comprehensive understanding of modern hypnotherapy.

Freddy is an amazing hypnotherapist whose generosity is beyond expectations, and this book is a proof, I have read the book and listened to the audible version and Freddy didn’t leave a rock unturned to give from the heart.
This book is not the usual copy paste repetitive stuff and worthy to be in every hypnotherapist’s library.
Definitely a must read and keep as a reference... time will tell

I’d say it’s a bit too simple…

But, great listen and helpful meditations.

Everything you need to know about hypnosis

Brilliantly ethical expert compendium of hypnosis and its precise methods. Lovely writer with great sense of fun that had me laughing aloud. If you want to understand how to use hypnosis I doubt there's a better book. And I read Ericksons books that this gentleman modestly attributes to his success. Thank you Freddy.
