Stephanie Caldwell made the classic mistake… she fell in love with her boss.
The fact that Bran is blind makes no difference to Steph—she thinks he’s the most handsome man she’s ever laid eyes on. If only she didn’t have to see him every day, she could force herself to give up her pipe dreams. But she can’t quit--she needs this job to pay for her daughter’s medical treatment. To make things worse, he just got engaged!

Billionaire Branson Knight is pragmatic about his love life. He knows women don’t see him as a man, but as a blind person, worthy of pity. His only value lies in his wealth. So his engagement is merely a means to an end. But the last thing he wants to end is his relationship with Stephanie--he’s become dangerously dependent on his efficient personal assistant.

When Bran’s friends drag him off to Las Vegas, he convinces Steph to go along, to prevent him from panicking in the noisy, crowded environment. His fiancée, however, sees the trip as the perfect opportunity to coerce Bran into a quickie wedding. Steph and his friends are determined to prevent the disastrous union. But everyone has a secret…

“This clean billionaire romance will tug on your heart strings.”
“ I liked that Branson and his friends weren’t the average hot billionaires, but each had their own challenge that made them who they were.”

This billionaires’ series caught my interest due to the premise’s originality.
There were four male close friends, billionaires, but each one of them had a disability. The first book was Branson’s story.

Branson lost his eyes when he was a baby from cancer, retinoblastoma.
Stephanie was his PA for the last two years and she had very deep feelings for her boss.
The plot was very interesting and engaging, had a lot of twists, very well written and inspiring, with strong characters yet with flaws and vulnerabilities.
There was also a lot of drama and push and pull between the main couple.
The ending was wonderful!!
I enjoyed it a lot!!

Heroine spoiled the book for me. Would’ve been a 4 star but her actions in last parts grated on my nerves.
Loved the hero! He was such a sweetheart. I also enjoyed the twists and turns the book took.
I loved hero’s friendship with the other three. Finn was hilarious and an absolute joy to read.
Epilogue was sweet.
Recommended.

This was a really enjoyable read with good characters, and great friendships. Will be reading the rest of this series. Looking forward to seeing how Bran and Steph’s friends story work out. And hopefully meet Bran and Steph again in the following books.

While the perfect book if one is looking for a sweet, clean escape, there were a few too many unbelievable wrenches thrown in to one story to allow me to fully immerse myself completely.

I was really sad about this read. I was expecting a lot from the other reviews, but the story was cliché and the writing/characters were regularly inconsistent and illogical. For example, when the male lead shares about his blindness when he first meets the female lead she literally starts crying! I have no experience being blind, but I imagine that I wouldn't enjoy a stranger crying with pity for me when I tell them my history (during a job interview no less). The female lead continues to be a bleeding heart for the rest of the book.
(What adds to the offense is that the author has blind family members, which adds to the bewilderment that she would choose to portray the situation like this.)

Their decision and viewpoints are inconsistent. They seem to shift whenever possible to keep the story going instead of coming to a natural conclusion. Many scenes and "romantic" situations that throw the couple together are contrived. When the female lead randomly gets the flue, her hired and devoted nanny (who is described as a close friend) abandons her for the night as she repeatedly throws up. Of course male lead has to come to the rescue by bringing her tea and ripping of his shirt to dab her forehead with. I listened to the audiobook and the narrating added to the fake feel of the story, way overdramatic with little character nuances.

What a great job she did on this book! I stayed up way too late reading it because I HAD to finish it in one sitting. I loved it! From the foreword and dedication to the last word, she kept my attention. It’s the first time I read a book with this type of plot and I was hooked! And at this price, it’s hard to resist! Highly recommended.

This book was a dumpster fire and a train wreck but I was entertained.

This has so much drama, backstabbing, plotting, and twists. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I cannot recommend it while I also did read the entire thing.

OW drama. I mean, he's engaged and he gets married to someone else and doesn't tell anyone.

So many villains! This is definitely soap opera territory.

I was looking forward to the plot, and I loved the idea of the friend group with disabilities. However the writing and execution was so bad, predictable and clichè.

The narration was even worse.

ETA: Since I read it the first time, I've read all four books in the series. This time I listened to the just-released audiobook. It was even more fun because I now know Bran's friends. It was such a delight to see them again. I love their teasing joviality--and patience-- with Bran as they try to help him find himself again.
The narrator did a fabulous job!

MY TAKE
This was my first book by Dearen but it won't be my last. I love that the male love interest Bran was blind. He was so capable and yet needed so much, especially on the emotional side. I loved Stephanie's relationship with her daughter and what a powerful motivator that motherly love was in her life.

And Bran's friends are a hoot. Can't wait to read their love stories.

Loved, loved LOVED this novel by Tamie Dearen!! This novel is about Branson and Stephanie. Branson is a wealthy, successful man but believes that he doesn't have a chance at love because he is blind. Stephanie is Branson's assistant and believes that he is way out of her league...

I adored Brans and Stephanie!! Brans is such a strong character and his blindness doesn't detract from his swoon-worthiness. I can definitely see why Steph fell in love with him! Their relationship was really cute. Although it was a little frustrating that they wouldn't admit their feelings for each other, the ending was definitely worth it! I loved Fordham. He was such a darling and I'm so glad that Brans had him in his life.
Overall, a beautiful story not to be missed!!

My take…../

The story was well written and ticked all the boxes of a fairy tale romance, but OMG you wouldn't believe all the drama that went down in this book. It made me laugh out loud several times and also, shed a tear or two with a few ‘you’ve got to be kidding me(s)’ in there as well!
A very enjoyable change of pace from my normal read. Highly recommend it if you are looking for something that will lift your spirits.

Billionaire Accidental Wedding/Clean/Intersectional

There are plot lines so tortured in this book it took me days to unpack some of them in my head. One of them involves a gross misunderstanding of paternity testing that could be cleared up by five seconds on Google.

The billionaire in this book is blind, and to its credit, the book doesn't really lean on the helpless disabled person trope. It does a surface skim of depression/isolation instead, which is refreshing. This is the one redeeming quality of the entire book.

This book was read for the pilot episode of our Romance Reactions podcast.

Stephanie and Bran had an unusual relationship. She being his personal assistant and he was a blind billionaire who fell in love with her. She in turn fell in love with him as well. They both hid their feelings from one another until they were married in Vegas under false pretenses.

So many twists and turns throughout this book. It really was a very enjoyable read. I loved how C.F. was brought into the book and I learned about research for cystic fibrosis, and how it can make a difference in a person's life.

This book was a page turner for sure. I loved it!

Loved this story! There was a lot of mystery and intrigue, but also great chemistry. Stephanie and Branson are so good together. There are moments when the story just gets so crazy and you're left wondering how it will all work out. Tamie Dearen does a great job with this story. I really loved it! I received an ARC, however it did not influence my review.

OMG you wouldn't believe all the drama that went down in this book. I love Bran even with a handicap he was awesome. Finn was my road dog. All the shenanigans that he pulled will leave you in stitches. If you want the sass, the tears, make be laugh a lot and even the drama you need to check out this book it will have you on the end of your seat

Overall it was a good story but the whole “I’m so stupid I don’t even realize he likes me and he must really like this other girl that he never wants to be around and he only compliments me and treats me way better than her” female mc got old lol.

I went in knowing that it was for fun and didn't take much of the situations all that seriously. I have been in the middle of some serious Fantasy and needed a palette cleanser. This worked well. The friends made this book. I have grown up in the Blind community so that was a bonus.

A tear shed in the "foreword," one knows this will be a great read. (I love the "behind the scenes" peek at what inspired this book.)

Stephanie Caldwell made the classic mistake… she fell in love with her boss, Branson Knight. Now she must contend with her boss's fiancee.

Carina is ruthless toward Stephanie. That conflict creates sparks and where there are sparks, there's fire.

"By that reasoning, I guess Carina's a vampire." Finn chuckled.

I kept reading to see what Carina would come up with next, and how Stephanie would respond. Would it be for love or for revenge? But then, Stephanie had an honorable personality. She wanted to do what was right.

Surprises and twists popped up throughout the book. Then a shock. Adding Vegas and Elvis put icing on the cake.

Rarely do I become emotional to tears. In this book, I started with tears and ended with tears. So many great elements in this book. I highly recommend it.

3.5 stars.

Interesting concept that's for sure. I've read a few books recently where the main character is blind or deaf. I appreciated that the author injected her own personal experiences into the story relying on those she knows who are blind to make this story more credible and less cliche.

To claim it as a 'clean' novel is a bit of a stretch. There is a lot of references to past relationships and through conversation among the characters, more than I have ever read in books that don't even claim to be clean on the cover. In fact I am not sure why it needs to be included in the title. Its extremely long!

There were chunks of the story that felt drawn out. However, this group of billionaires are not your usual group you would find in a series like this.

I was given a complimentary eARC of this book. This is my honest review.

I can't say enough good things about this book. It has it all, romance, heartbreaks, heros and evil schemers. Bran is a self made billionaire that doesn't let his physical impairment stand in the way of his end goal. Stephanie is his personal assistant and has been in love with him for most of the two years she has worked for him. Once he becomes engaged to someone else her heart breaks and she can no longer believe in a happily ever after for them. Can they find it?
As I read this book I laughed, cried, got angry, you name it and it's there. I fell in love with these characters, especially Bran's lifelong friends. I know you will love them as well. Tamie Dearen has done it again with a wonderful clean romance.

A well written down to earth clean romance full of love with likeable characters and enough unforseen plot twists keeping me on my toes.
Stephanie is a financial struggling single mom raising a sick daughter that has been in love with her boss for 2 years. Bran is her boss a CEO, and co-runner of a non-profit that assists in attacking medical treatment to those needed and in a pickle that in order to attain his shares in another business he is engaged to be married. You are kept on the end of your seat following twists and comedy including how Bran' three billionaire buddies devise away to get the two to romantically connect.  A must read. I voluntarily reviewed this standalone ARC.

I would like to give this book more than 5 stars. It had a wonderful story that was well written and a sweet romance.
Stephanie has been Bran's PA for two years and has worshipped him all that time. She is heartbroken when he announces his engagement when she didn't even have a clue about it before. I laughed and cried and these two m/c were well developed and really likeable. I don't know what else to say except this was a wonderful contemporary romance with a hea ending and no cliffhanger.

I really love this book and couldn’t put it down! I liked that Branson and his friends weren’t the average hot billionaires, but each had their own challenge that made them who they were. Stephanie was just the sweetest and I loved her and was rooting for her. I just loved the plot twists that I didn’t see coming. I highly recommend this one! I received an advanced reader copy of this book, but that did not affect my expressed views.

Wow, this was a wonderful clean romance that will tear on your emotions. You'll cry and you'll laugh. A different twist on the billionaire boss/assistant them. You'll fall in love with Branson (Bran) and his assistant Stephanie. She's in love with him but he's engaged, he's rich, handsome and blind. A great story that will have you page turning and wanting more. Twists and drama and more twists. A great ending. I read a reader copy and voluntarily chose to write a review.
