In true Victorine E. Lieske fashion, this book is a fun romance with lots of humor, sparks, misunderstandings and great characters. This book is part of the Destination Romance: Resorts Collection and part of the Billionaires Series.
In the Destination Romance collection, each book takes place at a fun or amazing resort. I am absolutely loving them. And this book was no exception. I found myself laughing several times, smiling at these two characters and their many moments of chemistry. Then, of course, I would be frustrated as they would start overthinking everything and misunderstandings would abound. Then everything would be back on the path to reconciliation.
There's many surprises in story for both Aiden and Felicity as Grams (Aiden's grandma) is bound and determined to get these to talking and explaining all the mixups and miscommunication of the past. How can these two out maneuver Grams? Answer, they can't! She's always three steps ahead of them, even when they think they're tricking her. Go Grams, you're the best!
If you're looking for a fun, lighthearted escape of sweet and clean romance this one is definitely a good read!

This Destined For Love Romance: Resorts series is making me add places to my bucket list like crazy and now Belize is at the top. Not only is there a second chance romance looming at this resort, but the lush, tropical location is to die for.
The characters are fascinating and lovable: Grams is a meddler, to be sure, but she's pure in her matchmaking intentions and in hilarious ways; then there's Felicity, who has trust issues; and finally, Aiden, a good and wholesome workaholic. The whole reason for the breakup was tragic, but meant to be, since both characters obviously had some growing to do.
I fell in love with the whole plot and story line, even with the drama that unfolded. The romance was very realistic--hesitant, yet undeniable; tentative, yet swoony. And so much fun. If you love a sweet romance in a tropical location with very real characters, be sure to check this one out.

I really loved this one. Yes, as others have mentioned, this is a clean & safe read with no sex scenes but it didn't bother me because the story & characters were amazing. There were times I wanted to slap Felicity upside the head for her stubbornness but at the same time, I understood her. As for Aiden? Oh my gosh I really loved him. The granny though? She was a hoot and everyone should have a granny like her in their life! LOVED it and HIGHLY recommend it for those of us who want a clean, safe & fun read with no OP drama and for once no douchbag H/h's!

If you like second-chance romance stories this book is for you. If you like stories that take place in far away beautiful places this a book for you. If you like second-chance romances where the exes meet up in a far away beautiful place then you really should read this book. This is the latest release in the Destined For Love Romance: Resorts series and it takes place in Belize.
Felicity and Aiden were this close (holds fingers a millimeter apart) to getting married when it all goes down the drain because of a lack of communication. How many times do I have to yell to my Kindle "SAY SOMETHING!" before they'll finally listen?! This is the age of cell phones and you people can't send a simple text to say "This is taking longer than I planned. Will be there shortly."?
Fast forward 5 years, and Felicity and Aiden have not only not seen each other, but haven't had ANY communication whatsoever, but it's not because Aiden didn't try. Felicity arrives in Belize to photograph a beautiful resort for promotional pictures when she runs into her ex-financé shortly after arriving.
The attraction and the sparks are still there for both of them but Felicity's got trust issues and Aiden's still a bit of a workaholic, so they each decide that nothing's going to happen as far as getting back together. BUT they didn't count on Aiden's Grams (Phoebe) being such a meddler. Towards the end Grams goes past a little meddling, and and at one point Aiden says "She's insane. I'm going to have to put her in a mental institution." 😅
I loved Grams even when I thought she'd gone off her rocker. She made cookies almost everyday, and had this response to a someone who didn't eat pancakes because she was watching her carb intake. "Grams shook her head slightly and muttered under her breath. "I watch mine too. I watch it go down my throat. "" ❤
Finally Felicity and Aiden talk and everything comes out--where he was the day of their wedding, why she wouldn't accept any communication from him afterward, and something Grams knew but never told Aiden. Thankfully these two finally see the light because I couldn't take much more or I was going to have to slap some sense into both of them.
This is a clean romance with just kisses and some swoony scenes.

This is my ninth book by Victorine E. Lieske, and I am pleased to award a full five stars for this well written, clean, sweet, contemporary romance. Even though this is the fourth book in the series, it is a stand-alone offering. The characters were well developed and filled with life. I particularly enjoyed Grams who well deserves an award for best-supporting-role. Her scheming manipulations were significant contributions to the telling of this story. This is a story of a second chance for the protagonists who messed up on their appointed wedding day five years earlier. Neither was wholly at fault then, and neither was blameless, but it took a lot of soul-searching on both sides to finally find their HEA. I heartily agree with the reviewer who stated, “Loved the book, but wanted to slap them both!” I loved how the story seemed to flow smoothly from beginning to end with just enough twists and turns to keep things interesting. I heartily recommend this book to my many friends.

Aiden & Felicity
-‘Aiden spent the entire five years with her breaking dates and making excuses for being late. Him being late for their courthouse elopement had just been the last straw. It wasn’t the real reason she’d left. She’d left because Aiden hadn’t made her a priority in his life... Aiden was a good man. He just threw himself into his work. His work always came first, and she hadn’t been able to accept that. She didn’t want to spend the rest of her life as second fiddle. She deserved a man who could put her above everything.’-
Relationships have to have some give and take, it can’t always go one way... Will Aiden and Felicity be able to reconcile, to find the faults in their past relationship, and to move forward? Or will the past mistakes keep standing in their way?
This is a sweet, clean romance with no swearing or sex. It is suitable for all ages. I recommend it.

There was so much potential for this book to be great but it just fell flat. I did not like the female lead AT ALL!!
I understand that Aiden being a workaholic was not ideal and could be exasperating at times but Felicity was selfish and inconsiderate and it really annoyed me. She only ever thought of herself and this resulted in her treating Aiden like a doormat.
I’m glad she realized her stupidity at the end but in my opinion, it was “too little too late”.

This book had the best re-meet cute I've ever read. I laughed about it for days after reading it. These two former fiancés are torn between being totally at odds and falling into the friendship they used to know. But Gram will do whatever it takes to get your two favorite peeps back together and happy- even if innocent civilians get dragged down. I usually have to take one person in the couple's side in any story, and this one it was definitely the woman who got stood up at the altar. Because you don't do that. But the hero was just so sad and loveable and busy making billions of dollars at inopportune times and I was willing to forgive him based on one of those aspects (not going to say which one...). Can two exes in a resort find a way to move on- or will Gram have to destroy everyone and everything that gets in her way first?

Felicity and Aidan broke up five years ago, after he didn’t show up for their wedding, and she wouldn’t let him explain himself. They are both starting to get over their heartbreak when Felicia receives a job offer to take photos at a resort in Belize. She doesn’t realize until she arrives that Aidan owns the resort, and his grandmother orchestrated their reunion.
The romance between Felicity and Aidan was cute, and the kisses were dreamy, but by favorite part was Grams. She would go to any length to see both of them happy again: from setting them up for a dinner date, to destruction of property and sabotage. She did not fall for their tricks or give up!
A quick and easy read, with humor and a sweet romance. I loved the setting in Belize. I wanted to explore the caves, the trails, and the beaches.

Her Big Fat Dreamy Billionaire Ex is the fourth installment from the Billionaire Series. First off, if a reader has never read anything by Victorine Lieske, they do not know what they are missing. This one, like the others, are full of fun, delight, romance and giggles. I just can not get enough from her books. Aiden and Felicity were great together. Loved their chemistry.
I give Her Big Fat Dreamy Billionaire Ex 4 1/2 stars and highly recommend it.

A clean romance in Belize!
Loved the whole story, especially the couple, Aiden and Felicity. He's such a great guy but so typical: he doesn't get it until he's hit on the head with the truth.

Destined For Love: Resorts - Having read the two other Destined For Love series: Europe and Mansions, I had to read this series, too. All the books from the Destined authors are well written, with interesting characters and realistic dialog, and intriguing storylines. The books are clean and don't have the annoying Stupid formula. (Characters act immature, don't communicate their feelings and problems while having sex all the time they're together: the Stupid formula.) These authors show that the plots can have suspense and intrigue without the stupidity.
Michelle Pennington, The Trust of a Billionaire (#1) - What a fun story! I fell in love with Hannah. She's one of the most interesting, fun, laid back but mature character I've discovered in a while. This is my first story by this author and I love it! The other four main characters were also interesting and fun, and two were very supportive and loving. It was heartwarming to see the effects of love on the three main characters. 5*
Anne-Marie Meyer, Marrying an Athlete (#2 in both Resorts and Fake Marriage Series) - This is my first book by this author and I was happy with it. A quickly read, interesting little romance coming to full bloom between two people who are childhood and adult friends. All the characters are interesting, realistic and mature in their actions. But I did think it was strange that the friends didn't unpack; the stay is a week. I contacted the Destined For Love group to review their books. 4*

This was a quick easy to fall into read. Grandma Phoebe might have been my favorite character. She could see what these two stubborn and heartbroken lovers couldn't—they'd never fallen out of love and needed to be together to truly be happy. All they needed was to talk and trust each other completely. There were so many fun and quirky parts to this romance thanks to Phoebe. Felicity and Aiden fight their attraction to one another valiantly and ignore their feelings and instincts out of fear of being hurt again.
It's well known that my biggest romance pet peeve is the non communication trope for keeping people apart, however, Lieske handles this very well. It's not a one time thing. It was a problem from the beginning of half communications that became a problem over time and was never corrected. This is something real. Something that does happen all the time and something relatable. I commend her for that. In the end, they both have to give and meet in the middle.
I give this a 4.5 and Clean rating.

1: I couldn’t even finish it / just plain bad
2: I hope I didn’t pay for this / disappointing
3: I didn’t hate it, but it was still missing something / forgettable but inoffensive

Felicity had been "left at the alter" so to speak five years earlier when her fiance' failed to show up for the wedding at the courthouse. They had planned to elope and she had gone all out to make it special but he didn't show. She never gave him a chance to explain because what could possibly explain his failure to show except that she didn't matter enough to him.
Aiden couldn't believe that Felicity had never given him a chance to explain why he was late to their wedding. She had just run and never returned his calls or attempts to explain. He was working on a deal that had made him a billionaire and he had wanted this deal so he could provide for their financial future. Felicity had never let him explain and had cut him out of her life.
Aiden's Grams had decided to take matters into her own hands. She hired Felicity to come to Belieze for an all expenses paid opportunity to use her photography skills to take pictures of the resort for their new website. At the time Felicity agreed to take the job, she had no idea who was really behind hiring her and she never imagined she would run into Aiden or that he would be the owner of the resort she would working for. Would her feelings for Aiden be resurrected or would their dead forever? Could Aiden make her see his reasons meant that he still loved her? Or, would they both be stubborn and not willing to give their love a second chance?
This was a well written story with romance, drama, a freak Caribbean storm and a happy ending. This story was clean with no foul language or sex to detract from the story.

Five years, it's been five years since she was stood up at the court house. She thought that she and Aiden would be married that day, as did his grams Phoebe. However, she's still single, and so is he. Now she's in Belize to do a job. She has been commissioned to take photos to update their website. When she arrives, imagine her surprise when Phoebe welcomes her and shows her what she is looking for their website. If Phoebe is here, does that mean Aiden is also? She soon gets her answer when she sees him walking towards her with his head down, looking at his phone. When he notices her, it's too late, and he runs into a sign. He's cut his forehead, and she insists on taking care of it so it doesn't get infected. What happens next? She's supposed to be there a week. Will she be able to handle being there with Aiden? When she gets to her cabin, she has a note inviting her to dinner with Phoebe. She's extremely happy to be able to catch up with grams. Only when she gets to the table not only is grams there but so is Aiden. Will this be how things are going to be all week? After a couple of days, it seems that grams is playing matchmaker! Aiden and his best friend/resort manager Derrick loved to play practical jokes on each other. They didn’t have the same qualms about it that always plagued me. I loved the way Grams took advantage of their games to accomplish her nefarious purposes.
Actually, Grams didn’t have a nefarious bone in her body. She was a sly matchmaker, manipulating and sabotaging circumstances to work towards the achievement of her ultimate goal – getting Aiden and Felicity back together. The lengths she went to were so funny. I can’t believe she did some of the things she did. Her obvious love for her grandson was so sweet.
Author Victorine Lieske has such a fun sense of humor. Her books are very enjoyable. If you are looking for a quick, lighthearted clean romance, this will probably fit the bill.

I really wanted to like this book. I have enjoyed reading other books by Victorine E.Lieske, or I would have stopped reading. But this book, I just could not cheer for Felicity. She is petty, selfish, grudge-holding, unforgiving, wouldn’t allow Aidan a chance to explain. It seemed like she rather have an unknown hurt, than actually know the truth. He desperately needed closure so he could move forward. Then Aidan is constantly apologizing, and Felicity has to keep reminding herself that she’s mad at him, and not to like anything he says or does because she was so hurt. Let him talk so he can be done with her and move on. Felicity did not deserve Aidan. What did they even have in common?
The grandmother was insane with the stunts she pulled. It was clear she did not respect boundaries or other’s feelings, by doing crazy things to try to get what she wanted. Granny is off her meds!
The most interesting characters were the supporting cast. Harold (IT guy) and Britney (clueless, gold digging divorcee) even though tiredly clichéd, showed more honesty and kindness than Felicity ever did. IT people everywhere should be offended by the stereotype of Harold!

A sweet, clean destination romance, this story is well written and has all the elements of an opportunity for a second chance at love. Felicity had her heart broken by Aiden five years previously, and she's never really recovered. Aiden was equally broken-hearted, but when an incorrigible, interfering grandmother gets into the mix, they have no other solution other than to talk to each other and clear the air. As so often happens in life, no one party can take all the blame, and as Felicity and Aiden finally get to the point of being honest with one another, it takes more than forgiveness to find their way back together again. I loved Phoebe and her machinations, and although I originally took Felicity's side in their stand-off, when the truth finally comes out, one has to feel for Aiden as well. There is an object lesson in this book, that communication opens the doors to conflict resolution and brings healing. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

This is a second chance romance with funny twist - Grams is a meddler, misunderstandings, trust issues and a lush setting of a resort in Belize.
Felicity and Aidan were to be married 5 years ago but he never showed. Felicity has trust issues and compares every man to Aidan.
Aidan is a good natured workaholic who believes that what he is doing is for the security of his family. He can't forgive Felicity for not allowing him to explain why he didn't show for the wedding.
As these two are put together time and time again by Grams they begin to see that they still care but are they willing to take the risk?
If you are looking for a lite reading book on the lazy summer day that will make you smile - this is it.

What a wonderful story of young love, heartache, and an ex-fiance reunited five years later at a beautiful resort in Belize. I was quickly drawn into the story and I could not put the book down. You will find yourself quickly caught up in the story line rooting for Felicity and Aiden. Neither one is willing to admit they made mistakes five years ago and yet they seem to still be in love with each other, but do not know it or will not admit to it. Thank goodness there is Grams to pull off some funny antics to try and get them to trust in each other and to finally talk about what happened five years ago. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.

This is my first book by Victorine E Lieske, but it will not be my last. Second chance romances are one of favorites to read and I wasn’t disappointed with this book. Five years ago Felicity and Aiden were going to elope, but he was a no show at the courthouse. Felicity takes off and blocks his number, so he doesn’t get to explain. Present day, we have a very determined matchmaker in Grams. Her antics had me laughing out loud in parts. I highly recommend this fast read to anyone that loves second chance books. I loved the descriptions in the book. It will make you wish to visit the Belizan Paradise.

What an enjoyable book. There is a great setting, a second chance romance, and wonderful characters. Grams is a quirky, spunky and lovable character that will make you laugh with her scheming. Felicity and Aiden were to elope 5 years prior but things got in the way. Now Grams is scheming to make them meet again knowing they belong together. It is a great plot that is fun to read and well written. The way the setting is described makes me want to make it my next vacation destination. I really enjoyed reading this book and can recommend. I received this book as a gift and voluntarily give this review.

I enjoyed this book. I loved Grams. She was quite a character. And I liked both Aiden and Felicity. (As a side note, I really like Felicity's name; however, "Harold"?!? I've never met a Harold even remotely close to my age, and I'm not even sure I've ever met one at all. On the other hand...I have a son named Eldon, so who am I to talk? ;-) ) I really thought Felicity and Aiden had good chemistry, which is sometimes hard to pull off in a book. And the conflict was realistic, not merely contrived to build a story off of.
Content: some fake swear words (i.e. "crud"). No sex.

Fell just short
I wanted this to be such a fabulous romance. Second time around romances can be so great. Somehow, while this one had everything I want in a romance, (handsome, rich, alpha H; sweet, loving h, great hea...) it managed to fall just short of great.
I'm not sure the 'angst' every romance author these days, seems to think we need, or want, wasn't, for me, the biggest problem. Angst for the sake of angst, just hit me as rather goofy. The bit about Brittney seemed a tad hard to believe, too.
It wasn't horrible. Sadly, for me, 'average' is the best I can say. It coulda been great, but it just fell short.

Cute short and sweet
Nice story. But I found felicity to be annoying and only liked her once she realized how ridiculous and selfish she was being at the end. Yes everyone wants to be the number one priority. But life doesn’t always allow That. He was thinking about their future and she was more concerned about being number one. Where as he was thinking about providing for her they both had communication issues but it was sweet and glad they finally pulled their heads out of their butts and talked.

This is a second chance romance between Felicity and Aiden. It's been five years since they split .. the chemistry and love is still there,but so are their issues.The author brings drama and suspense and brings in just enough supporting characters to move the story smoothly. I have to say,I felt sorry for Aiden and thought Felicity needed to grow up .. a sure sign of a good author to pull at you. I enjoyed reading their story.
