I take a year off from work to put the pieces of my life back together, but it is time to find a job. I need something closer to home this time, and the ideal place is almost at my doorstep. I apply for the job and an interview is scheduled. I am excited until I realize I have walked into an interview from hell! Molly Persaud does not know the difference between interview and torture. I am prepared to walk away from this one, but desperation causes me to stay. By the time the interview ended, I find myself walking away with so much more than a job.AUTHOR'S This book contains steamy sex scenes.
1star! for effort Nope -- (i'm even pissed that i got sucked into buying it) all because of the positive reviews and the blurb sounded really good...urgh! :-- for the stupidity and viciousness of the questionnaires that took place in this story i found that all these stuff can be consider as a means of mental and psychological abuse of power. Like Ms.Portuondo really? There's a #metoo movement going are you aware...
I liked the concept of this story, but there were a couple of things I did not like. First, the story was rushed in such a way that it was confusing and felt like I got whiplash. Second, there were so many grammatical errors that it made the read unpleasant for me. I wished that the development between the characters wasn't rushed. I would have liked to get to know them more and to see an actual connection blossom between them. One that keeps me on the edge of my seat and too excited to put the book down. The book was very good up until after the dancing chapter. That is where the book went south for me.
Nothing was rational about this story. I was totally confused about how most of the actions that were taken in the story were considered okay. I mean that a lot of it was just unbelievable and hard to ignore.
Would I recommend this? If you’re really bored, then yes. Why not?
I couldn't put it down.. At first it seemed like things moved pretty and impossibly quick but than things slowed down a bit and the relationship between Kira and Molly was unexpected and beautiful I loved everything about this book KUDOS!!!!! hope a sequel is in the works cuz Sherri will have her hands full with Molly and the kids
This is my favorite author i troll kindle store every day looking for her new work. I am so glad that it worked out for Dr. Dwyer and Molly, Ms. Portuondo knows how to drag you through all the emotions for a awesome story so worth the money.
I found Molly to be emotionally unstable and abusive. I don't care how much you want to take care of someone, you don't yell at them, trap them and force them to do what you want.
Five star story with one star editing. The author needs an editor desperately. There were so many typos and spelling errors that it made the book hard to read. I can only hope she finds a good editor.
When I read the synopsis of the book I was very intrigued. However reading the book is so unrealistic. The characters are very flat with very strange burst of emotions, so exaggerated feelings. But mostly a story that is so but so unreal.
Sheri and Molly met over an interview. Molly was to be her boss. The interview turned out to be enlightened to them both. They discovered many unexpected things about each other. Read their story. It was one of both heartache and joy. I think you'll like it.
Amazing author, Mardria, takes you away and blows your mind with her breathless, exceptional novels. So far, i have read all of them. She is the author that got me back to reading again. And what a rush it has been. Totally LOVE her novels.
