I listened to the author read parts of this book at the Clermont Lounge in ATL. If you know the place, you would be wondering what the hell a poetry reading was doing in there and if you don’t know the place. Well look it up. Since then I’ve become friends with the author and a couple other books have come out. I sit on my floor typing this while I pack up my house and I remember how much I loved this book. It was there for me at dark times in my life and it made me feel not so alone in this cold world. You should check it out.
