I liked this even with the couple sex scenes in the last quarter, it was still a great read. The only real drama was from Casey's biological dad, but it didn't last long. Good story. https://youtu.be/ZNfN-ghTHz4

This story is short, fast paced and a nice read. His foxy lady is book two in the shifters of sanctuary.
My heart ached for Nikki in the prologue. I hated that she lost Betsy. That being said, I liked how selfless Nikki was. She kept her promise to Betsy and took care of Casey. She went from being Casey’s Aunt to being her mom. I also liked that Casey accepted Nikki as her momma but still remembered her birth mommy.
I liked that Nikki was the shifter and Jim was the human. I haven’t read many books where the heroine is the shifter and the hero is a human, usually it is the other way around.
The chemistry and attraction between Jim and Nikki was clear to see and I liked them as a couple. I just wish that there were scenes of them as a couple. I liked that Jim accepted Casey instantly and grew to love her. I was a little apprehensive of Jim’s reaction to Nikki being a shifter. It did take him a short while but soon accepted Nikki’s fox.
One last thing, I found Nikki’s fox’s thoughts hilarious.

It was so easy to slip back into the world of the Shifters of Sanctuary for the second story, His Foxy Lady. The beginning of this story will rip your heart out… it’s just that simple and complex. The rest of the story will mend it, bring happiness and stability to three very deserving people. It is so easy to fall for little Casey. That little girl is gonna be an expert sassy lady one day, I adored her and her almost snark comments. And man, can that girl talk. *grin*
Nikki has come to Sanctuary to work, and to find her own peace. Her time in war has left its scars and now Nikki and her Fox need the quiet, steady atmosphere of Sanctuary, as well as the work she’s committed to. She’s also got one eye out for danger from Casey’s biological father who should be in prison right now… but Nikki has a bad feeling about him. Jim is a former bull rider who left that career after a very brutal final ride that left damage behind. He’s content on Sanctuary working with good people doing great things for the wounded and abandoned animals they care for. Jim is human and has no idea of shifters or mates… that’s about to change.
His Foxy Lady will grab your attention, your emotions, and your sense of humor – all combine into one story that will keep your focus right to the end. We’ll catch up with old friends from the first story in this series, maybe learn a bit more about others. Nikki and Jim fit so well together, funny, sexy, and comforting at exactly the moments that Nikki needs him. I’m definitely looking forward to getting updates on this couple as the series continues. I loved this one, and if you love a good Shifter Romance with likable, believable characters, some issues to be dealt with and seeing a villain get what’s commingling to him… then you ‘ll love not only His Foxy Lady but Shifters of Sanctuary as well.

A very enjoyable story with a good moral tale interwoven through it. If not for poor proof reading I would have enjoyed this much more.
Wasn’t keen reading on after the first couple of chapters as I knew it was going to be horribly sad. Glad I continued on as once this left the war zone it was very enjoyable.
I laughed out loud at Nikki’s fox’s antics on meeting Jim and the dialogue between these two was good.
I understand these are short stories but I just get so annoyed at stupid, easily rectified grammar and proof reading errors being missed or worse ignored. There are way too many in this book to expect to pay the price asked. Luckily I read it through KU but it reduced my reading pleasure.
Who instead of Wolf changes a statement. e.g. The hybrid who WOLF cocked his head in return.
“I almost came in MY pants like a teenager.” “That was your body recognizing its mate.” She gave him a tender smile. “My fox wanted me to tackle you to THE ground and claim you then and there.”
Sorry, what is SIDE SHADE?? Never heard this expression.
My first book by this author but I am loath to read the first book even though I would love to read Ella and Dakoda’s story as it sounds interesting.

Nikki never had it easy in life, from death of her parents, loss of her best friend in war, but the best thing was being adopted by her best friend family and now raising her amazing daughter Casey.
Jim loved bull riding, but one arrogant bull took that away. Luckily, he was able to find work on a sanctuary working for Koda Stone. Koda respected Jim was a perfect match for what he wanted to do.
Well, one day Jom world would be forever change when Nikki and Casey came to live and work there. Casey stole his heart right off as her being a young child and Jim showing and teaching her about the animals. Nikki on the other hand would take time. With her having PTSD, becoming a new mother of a child, healing from a loss of a best friend, and the constant fear of Casey father. After one handshake between Nikki and Jim they both knew deep down they were meant to be together. Could they make it work.

To read a book where the M is human and F is a shifter is different and so heartwarming. Wish I could find more books like this one. Great story, great plot.

The second book in the Sanctuary series is just as wonderful as the first. Ms. Belle does an excellent job of making the reader feel every emotion, good and bad, that the characters in the book are experiencing. I cannot recommend this series enough! Just make sure your schedule is wide open because once you pick up any book in this series, there is no putting it down til you have read every last word!😉 Mature eyes only due to hot shifter loving🔥, and graphic descriptions of war zone battles and casualties.

This is one the sweetest books I’ve read.
This one if the sweetest books I’ve read. I love the interaction between the characters and how their relationship built slowly even though they were attracted to each other. This is a shifter book but I liked the fact the story concentrated more on their love and life then anything else. The author made the little girl Casey real and her liveliness was endearing.

I Love This Series!
The characters in this story are so special and not because some of them are shifters. No matter what horrors they've experienced as humans or shifters, they are inherently kind, strong and loving. I love this series! Even though I've read three books in this series, I still always feel so happy when these characters finally get their happily ever after. Good job Kasey Belle!

Jim and Nikki
Another fantastic read from this series. Very well written with original plot. Jim is a human that works for Koda in the Sanctuary. He is shocked by the instant attraction for the new hire help. Nikki is a fox shifter and nurse with PTSD. She wants a new start with her adoptive daughter and the last thing she expects when arriving in the Sanctuary is to find her fated mate. Finally ! Haven't find a story where the H is human. Highly recommended

Get 2nd book
This book will make you cry, laugh, get mad and love with all your heart. Nikki and Casey were looking for a fresh start. They found it at sanctuary. Nikki knew what Jim was to her and she was so not read. It was fun watching this progress with these two. Please read it’s worth it but you need to read the 1st book.

The prologue will have you choked up. Jim says the premise of this series perfectly, Sanctuary is a place where animals (and humans/shifters alike) come to heal and learn to trust again.
For Jim and Nikk, that is true for sure, only in different ways. Luckily that is Sanctuary I love the mating pull. Wish it were real. Jim never had a chance!

I chuckled and got teary eyed as I read this second book in the shifters of sanctuary series. Nikki, a fox shifter, and Jim are fated mates. Nikki moves to the sanctuary with her daughter and knows at the first handshake that Jim is her mate. Lots of cute scenes between Jim and the daughter. A quick read with a happy ever after for all.

Extremely entertaining, captivating, emotional and very interesting sexy read. I could not put it down. Wonderfully written with strong characters. Can't wait for the next one. I'm hoping it's Rainbow and a vet that comes to the Sanctuary to heal. Kudos to the author for a job well done.

Loved the snark & sass. Little Casey was adorable while also kind of snarky, but in a good way. Jim was wonderful and Molly's Fox was hysterical. I gotta get the first book now. Wil be following this author for sure.

Loved it
This is a very enjoyable paranormal shifter Romance with some drama and some steamy passion. All three books in the series are very good but each can be read as a stand alone.
