A MUST READ!!!!
Sephiri you never ceases to amaze me. You just get better and better with each book you write. I absolutely loved this book. It was great. I knew that Shante was grimey...I so love Amell and Leah together. I hate Brittany...she definitely needs to be taught a lesson right along with Ty. I wasn’t expecting that ending. I can’t wait to read part 2....great job...#143

Hum, a little bit slow but was ok...
First time reading this author and this particular intro to this series was a lit bit slow but still ok. The story line seem to sync and the characters seems to intertwined.
Leah at first seems to be a bit naive, gullible and down right green but there are some instance where she was ok and good. Then you have her again act up as a bimbo or a no goal oriented person, yet still down to earth. A little bit harder and trickier to relate to her.
Amell, he seems to be very well rounded, boss man, alpha but some part are missing. If he is supposed to be this big kingpin, head honcho, the man to see, but he is so basic and all that nothing make sense. Acting like a tough gangster when in reality he is being portrayed as a wannabe gangster. Hopefully in the long run in the series and not only in this intro, we will see another face to him.
Shante, And Ty man really; you always have a couple of the, and it's up to karma as to what she plans on doing with them. Brittany thoug, wears the crown of stupid since she really doesn't know what kind of stuff she is letting out of this Pandora box. Stupid, stupid and just for that I think Karma's visit is going to be memorable all around.
So with that said, let's see how this will all pan out from there...

Okay but…
This was an okay read but when females try going into details about the drug stuff it tends to come off lame. Authors like S.W. Frank, Latrivia Welch and Mallory Monroe do an excellent job and the criminal side of stories. They also tend to not go into too much detail. If the author stayed away from the details more this would’ve been better because the stuff with the drug side and him flapping his lips with everyone knowing was silly. The friend was a dead giveaway from the jump with the stuff she was saying and doing. I’d read the next one for sure though.

First of all, Shante ain't shit!! How you rooting for your girl to stay with a cheating ass man yet you sexing him too as one of his side chicks?? I like Amel for Leah!! Brittany is a trip for snitching like that. You thought she would have learned her lesson when Amel had Duke mess up her credit and criminal record lol. That was super funny no lie!! I hope part 2 coming really soon

Yeah !!
Watch your back at all times,this story has more twist and turns than a winding road.I love that the writer drops you right into the action and doesn't let up on the gas.The two main characters are just explosive and they are likable not too over the top.This is story that well thought out and executed with a velvet glove.There is more to come from this couple and you are not going to want to wait.

Omg this series is gonna be lit. My girl Leah is catching a little hell. Her bestfriend Shante is a snake right along with ty but hey hopefully their karma is coming soon. And imma pray for Brittney cause she’s opening up some worms that didn’t need to be open so I see death in her near future. Sitting here patting my feet while sipping on Pepsi and eating popcorn while waiting to read the next book

Great story...
First time reading Sephiri J and I am not disappointed. Leah is strong woman and not putting up with the bull. Thankfully she did leave that no good boyfriend of hers and left her so called friend alone. Haters are going to hate. Amell is definitely a boss in every sense of boss but looks like a war is brewing. Great read!

Leah has more coming at her than she ever expected. Amell is hopefully all that he’s proven so far. Shante is not a real friend. Brittany gives all women a bad name and she has started a ball rolling, that she’s not going to be able to stop. Amell, Shan and Duke are getting ready to be tested!

So this is my first read by this author and I am loving the drama that is coming with this book. I love Leah like she's all about buisness and still knows her worth. Duke and Amell are definitely book baes. I already know it's about to pop off with ty and Brittany lurking around and to think Leah thought shante was her friend.

Good Book
Love sometimes can be cruel. For Leah she had a bad deal with Tyrese. He seem to want his woman but others on the side. In a relationship you both have to want the same thing. She decided she needed to do things on her own. She succeeded to but it's sometimes a person that won't let go. Amell makes Leah feel loved & wanted. That's good for both of them considering what they hAve been through. NoW Brittany, Amell ex- wife she really have messed up. The police is the wrong people to go to especially when you deal with people like Amell. The next part will be interesting especially to see what happens with the guy who killed Mateo. This book had a lot of backstabbing, lying, & most of all drama. All kind song it all through the book.Now onto part 2 to see what happens.
