Indulge with Me is a collection of short stories with all our favourite couples from the With Me In Seattle series then after each story there are a few recipes (which I skipped over not interested).

Jules & Nate
Host a brunch for Amelia & Wyatt's engagement with the whole family.

Meg & Will
Host game day aka couples eat, drink and mess around.

Sam & Leo
Host a get together for the band Nash.

Alecia & Dom
Host a dinner party for the whole family.

Meredith & Mark
Host a house warming party for the whole family.

Natalie & Luke
Have adult time when the kids are away and Nat host's girls night, can't have a KP book without one.

This was a lovely catch up with the McKenna's, Montgomery's, Nash's, Salvarore's and Williams's finding out what they have been up to in the last six years and how many babies they have all had.

If you love the With Me In Seattle series like me, then I highly recommend this.

My Review:

This was a different type of story but I truly loved it. I think the reason it took me so long to get to it is because neither my library nor KU actually had this book. But I finally grabbed it up and I had such a fun time reading this one here. I truly loved the way in which we have these extended epilogues for some of our favorite couples in this series up to this point this book was published. And there is also many tasty recipes included in this book (which might be why its not in KU). We have a set of different stories (about 6) where we get the POV of each couple where they host a part or gathering of some short with the others. This book was fun, laid back, and heartfelt with a bit of spice included. I actually love it when authors do these type of books, it just adds more layers to the series where you see extended epilogues like this and seeing these couples work through problems. The only one I didn't love very much was our couple from Rock With Me .....I feel like the heroine was very selfish in this one.

Just a delightful snippet of the beloved Montgomery family. Short stories tied into yummy recipes make this the perfect read for fans of the Seattle series. The stories are sweet and steamy. The food is simple yet elegant. A very nice blend of tastes that will allow readers to come back to the book time and again for inspiration.

Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Can we give 10 stars??? 5 for the short stories and 5 for the recipes???!!!

Where do I even start on this one? When Kristen announced there will be a new book in the Montgomery series, I was so excited. But when it was revealed that it would also be a cookbook? I just went crazy! There are very few things that I love doing in this world and tops on that list is reading and cooking /baking (watching broadway musicals is another but that was very much satisfied by the other book! Lol). To combine two of my loves in one book is just pure nirvana!

This is a collection of short stories and in each story, a couple hosts a party/get together for family and close friends. During the party, we get a chance to catch up on what’s happening with each couple. So many changes! And yet, they are as hilarious, romantic, and loving as ever. Nobody and no life is perfect and we get to see that. They’ve had their ups and downs but always at the heart of it is their family and their love and support for one another.

At the end of each short story, the recipes for the food and drinks each couple served are featured. The parties vary from house warming to mini reunions to girls night, and so do recipes: from appetizers to finger food to sumptuous entrees, etc.

I truly, truly enjoyed this book. The stories are funny, romantic, poignant, sassy, and oh so sexy! The recipes (by USA Today Best Selling author Suzanne M. Johnson) sound fun, delicious and easy to follow. Incorporating huckleberries in the recipes was also a great salute to Kristen’s home state of Montana and her love for huckleberries. I’ve already earmarked several recipes that I want to try!

What a great way to go back to this beloved series. Love and food is always an awesome combination and Indulge With Me is the perfect way to enjoy that. Thank you and congratulations Kristen and Suzanne for a wonderful book. I feel so lucky to have read this ahead of its release. I was really looking forward to this book and it was more than I imagined it would be. I hope there will be more collaborations ahead!

This book is a great idea. Mix yummy recipes and short stories with the characters from one of my favourite series what more could you want. Getting more of the Montgomery is alway great and this book showed just how strong sexy and supportive they still are with each other. Lives are quite crazy with all the kids and different things goin on if there lives but it's great that there still so close. Each story was great and quite sexy I luvd all of them. The recipes I haven't tried but they all sound so good the girls nite cocktails sound so good. I m so glad I read this book I would recommend.

This book was so much fun! I loved catching up with the Montgomery group and the recipes... wow I want to make them all! I loved that there are some fancier dishes in there, but also some basic ones that I wouldn't need to run to the store for ingredients. I can not wait until the next family get together where I can bring one or two of these dishes :)

Of course with everything Kristen Proby writes, I couldn't put it down! They may only be short stories, but they all pull you in! I love that it just picks up where Stay with Me ended. We can see the family develop and grow up and I simply love it. My favorite might be Meredith! Her party is pretty much exactly how things go in my house haha!

Another 5 stars for Kristen Proby!!

Indulge is right! Loved, loved, loved catching up with all these sexy couples who are still totally enamored with each other some years down the road and have even more kids to show for it. What is really fun is that there is food and drink a plenty here and the recipes to go with them. Really cute idea these author had. Each section is a different get together at a couples home with several recipes each. See the table of contents for the gazillion yummy sounding recipes.

Enjoy!

Just Ok.
In my opinion, there are too many receipts to be a real 'With Me in Seattle' book. I don't see the point of it. Isn't it enough to jump to the unknown cousins lives of the supposed very close knit family who now we know had more family living a few miles away but didn't heard about them before book 9 to expand the series? Was this book also necessary?

BTW, You NEVER peel the shrimps to cook a Seafood Paella, you ALWAYS use bomba rice (or similar), you DON'T put peppers there, nor parsley (peas are optional but not common at all), and the broth is not from chicken. You're cooking a SEAFOOD PAELLA, so, you use water or SEAFOOD/FISH broth. It also lacks some other key ingredients like tomato (grated, no peels), diced cuttlefish, squid rings (or diced, too) and whole, non-peeled langoustines (=Dublin Bay prawn, Norway lobster... I don't know how you call it, to me are synonymous, please correct me if not).

And that was only about the ingredients, I better do not start about the cooking itself, it would take me too much time...

I don't know where this "recipe" came from, but wherever it came, it did not came from where it should. That's a recipe of rice, even it may be a good one, what it's not, it's a recipe of Seafood Paella. If you insist to call this Seafood Paella, you're not evolving from the original recipe, you're destroying it, literally. (Me, the woman born, raised and living in the land of the paellas said).

It makes me wonder if all the recipes are so "accurate" as this one is (not at all).

This was my first time doing a review for a recipe. Sometimes I find with my schedule I don't always have time to prepare snacks or even a simple appetizer for when friends come over.

This was my first time doing a review for a recipe. Sometimes I find with my schedule; I don't always have time to prepare snacks or even a simple appetizer for when friends come over.

When I received this recipe, I was happily surprised on how easy it looked to make, and that it prep time was concise. I wanted to do something quick and easy, that would taste just a delicious as I hoped it would.

I cooked Spicy Corn Dip Recipe from this book. The dip is fantastic and takes then than 15 min to prep and only 30 minutes to prepare.

When you have guests coming over and need something quick to whip up this is that dish or even if you want a family snack.
If you make homemade chips with the recipe, it will probably take another 15 min of prep which is so quick. I didn't because of time.

Even days later the dip was still just as delicious being reheated as it was when it was first prepared. I recommend this recipe to everyone. I will be making this dish again very soon.

I absolutely loved the format for Indulge with Me! It was a combination of short stories that followed a number of the couples in Kristen Proby's With Me in Seattle series, allowing us the opportunity to catch up with the whole Montgomery family. The backdrop had them hosting dinner parties that brought together the family. But the uniqueness of Indulge with Me was that interspersed with the parties, we got the recipes for the food at these parties!

Now, I love to cook, so I was anxious to try out a few of these recipes. I already made two of them, and they were a HUGE success at my crazy family's Sunday night dinner (there are typically 12 or so of us). My brother tried one of the Antipasto Cups, moaned, and grabbed another one. He grabbed a few more when I wasn't looking! And my sister devoured three of the Spinach and Artichoke Rolls, which is not typical of her at all!

I will definitely reread these short stories, as this crazy family is one of my favorites to read about, and I will continue to try out a few more of the recipes!

First of all . . . SQWEE . . . The Seattle crew is back. I've missed them. They are so much fun and I want to be a part of their families so much.

It was awesome to see a bit into the lives of a few of them and this was an awesome way to do it since when they are together as a family are some of the best parts of thee books and there is always food involved (love you, Will). The stories were too short, though I loved every minute of the stories that were there. I really would have loved to have had a Nic and Matt story. I was a little sad that I could not get more of them, though it was nice to see even from a second hand perspective how they are doing. And I would have wanted a few more Nic cupcake recipes.

I have not, as of yet tried any of the recipes, but will and hopefully will remember to update this post.

What better way to keep up with the Montgomery’s and the whole clan than with food. All of the small stories and parties was absolutely wonderful. I could not put this book down and can never stop hoping there will always be more stories for this family. There are so many recipes I want to try and will within the next few days here are just a few.
Fried glazed donuts
Bacon cheeseburger pinwheels
Spicy corn dip with homemade chips
Tipsy berries
Grilled corn pesto and Parmesan
S’mores trifle
Mini twice baked potatoes
Chocolate cheesecake
Huckleberry lemon drop
Sparkling peach sangria
Strawberry lemonade cupcakes
Pomegranate champagne cocktail
Kristen Proby did not disappoint and proved again how brilliant she is.

Another fantastic book for this amazing series!

I absolutely loved catching up on what our favourite couples and biggest family are up to!

We get several chapters focused on different couples hosting different kinds of events with friends and family. Was so good to see how each couple are going, what's changed or going to change in their lives.
We also get the recipes for the amazing sounding food and drinks provided in each event. I can't wait to try these!!!

All the things I loved in the rest of the series are in this book, in each chapter with each couple.

Some of the couples have new things about to happen in their lives, so I'm hoping future books in this series provide more details of that.

All in all, fantastic book!

Catching up with Seattle finest crew

I love that you gave each couple their own section. You caught us up to everything that has changed and everything that they're going through as a married couple with kids or just in life. I love that even though they each got there happily Ever After with they're perfect men that everything's not always perfect in a relationship or as a family. You keep that as real as possible. And you also gave us some good recipes for snacks delicious food and alcohol treats thanks. It's always good reading from you excited for your next book release...

PS I don't know if it's just me but I keep hoping that Leo and Sam changed their minds and decides to have a baby I don't want Leo to not have a baby. LOL

I was beyond thrilled when Indulge with Me was announced; any time I get to catch up with the Montgomery clan is a good day. Add to that the fact that Indulge with Me is a completely different format than what we're used to from Kristen Proby and my mind was blown!

Proby teams up with well known cookbook author Suzanne M. Johnson to deliver a mixture of short stories and mouth watering recipes in Indulge with Me. The stories are all set in the With Me in Seattle world and each features a different couple from the series. It's like coming home to old friends, sitting around the table with good food and great company, you'll want to savor every second. ❤

The idea of Indulge With Me was cute enough. However, it’s not at all what I expected and fell flat. It’s basically a collection of very, VERY SHORT stories centering around five of the couples from the series each throwing some kind of party. The recipes for the food served at those parties are provided at the conclusion of each story. The sixth short story was about a girl's night but it was boring and not funny at all.

I guess I'm just a little disappointed. I usually laugh and enjoy these characters, but sadly I never even smiled while reading this. The recipes take up more space than the actual stories did.

Two things I love to do: read and cook. Indulge with Me has that in spades. Catching up with characters to see what they are up to. Falling in love with them all over again. Each short story focused on a couple and combined with the tasty food choices was a sure recipe for a goodread. Kudos to Kristen Proby to combine these two things and come out with another winner. This book will leave you feeling full and satisfied. It will also have you heading to your kitchen to try some of these delicious recipes.

This was a great combination of 5 novellas along with 5 groups of amazing recipes.

I'm a series girl, I'll always pick a series over a standalone. There is nothing better than sinking into a world and I often wonder what happens after it all ends. That was the best part about this book, I loved getting caught up on the lives of the Montgomery clan. It was so great to get a peek into how their lives are going and how their family is growing.
The recipes are just the icing on top, and while I haven't tried any yet, I plan to soon.

“Indulge With Me” is a delightful blend of short stories centered around Montgomery family get togethers and recipes for the delicious food served at the parties. All the stories are quick, fun slice of life moments highlighting five favorite couples from the “With Me In Seattle” series. Credit to the authors skills, all the shorts were interesting enough to have been fleshed out as full books I would gladly read. It’s always a pleasure visiting the Montgomery clan and the bonus yummy recipes make this a book not to be missed.

I loved all the couples in the " With Me In Seattle " series.
It was so nice to reconnect with them.
I hope that there will be more books like this in the future
I would love to see what is happening in their lives.
What would happen if Samantha got pregnant ? Oops.
Loved the recipes.
The characters + storytelling were very captivating
It has all the ingredients that you need for an awesome book!

My Thoughts:

So i’ve been reading this series for years now and it’s still one of my favorite family's but i have to say this was not my favorite. Even thought i have a feeling this is the last book in this series following the montgomery family. Basically this was a collection of short stories with each couple and the recipes of the food they ate at the party's. So for me it wasn’t anything special. But if you like short stories and you like this series than i recommend it.

I didn’t know prior to purchasing this book that it was a series of snippets and bonus scenes with cooking recipes.
Am I disappointed? Not really, bc I’m a sucker for the Montgomery family members so I enjoyed those bonus scenes but I don’t think I’ll be trying my hand with those recipes, not bc I don’t think they are good but they seem like a lot of work and I’d prefer to have Nic and Alecia set everything up for me.
Since the content was short, that decreased my rating but nevertheless I adore this series.

Landing on page 1, I became the most excited I’ve ever been for a novel in this series! I was so excited Proby put together something like this given all the gatherings the Montgomery family has had and all the food they eat.

I also liked that we picked up right where we left off from the previous novel - Wyatt’s and Amelia's engagement.

An easy read one could do in a day or two. I loved this novella! It was different, short, sweet and makes you hungry. I rented this from the library, but may consider buying my own copy to add to my cookbook collection
