This book changed my perspective on block play. When I see children using blocks, I see learning. I highly recommend it for all ECD and parents. It has activities for toddlers and up and has instructions on how to make your own blocks.

I highly recommend this book if you are in ECE. In 25 years I had no idea you need up to 200 blocks for 3 year olds, 300 blocks for 4 year olds, and 400 blocks for 5 year olds! Its a great book for those new to the field as well as a refresher for those of us who have been teaching for years.
