This is a hot anthology with spankings, power exchange, BDSM, magic, paranormal elements and I highly recommend!
Breaking the Rules – Caia is a witch in need of human interaction in order to recharge her magic. Tariq’s a werebear/vamp alpha who can’t resist taming Caia. This is a steamy BDSM story between two strong characters. I found Caia a tad annoying but under Tariq’s firm hard, she melts.
Lust Cakes – Mischief fairy Jasmine bakes up a few batches of lust cakes as a gift to her co-workers. They’ll have sex like bunnies but won’t remember it the next day. But when her sexy boss, Damien, catches her in the act, he doles out his own punishment. My favorite story in the set. The chemistry between Jasmine and Damien is off the charts. A steamy office romp!
Amateur Witch – Tammy and her boyfriend, James, are supposed to go to a Halloween party but he doesn’t like to dress up. She casts a spell but things don’t quite go as planned. I enjoyed this one. James turns the tables on her and teaches her what happens when you mess with magic. Delightful and sexy!
Amazon – Sam has the perfect accessory for her costume but when she puts on the amulet, she’s transported to the jungle. She meets Adam, a drool-worthy warrior, and she does what Jane would do when meeting Tarzan: she kidnaps him and has her way with him. A fun twist on the whole caveman love story.
Revenge Fairy – Tana’s sister claims to have been impregnated by a god but when Tana does some research, it doesn’t add up. Good thing she’s a revenge fairy because the idiot who did this to her sister is in for a world of hurt. I wanted to like this one but found it a little slow and hard to follow.
Hot and Bothered – Eolande is an orgasm fairy who helps lonesome souls find pleasure. But when she makes a mistake, can she fix it or is she in big trouble? An orgasm fairy is my new favorite kind of fairy. I found this story hilarious with a sassy heroine and all the trouble she gets in. Hot romance!
Overall, this is a great collection of steamy paranormal short stories. It’s well-written and each story’s arc is flushed out. The characters don’t have much depth but like most flings, it’s a quickie. Perfect to read by the pool or at the beach.
Favorite Story: Lust Cakes. While it’s premise is quirky, Jasmine and Damien are my favorite couple. I’d love more from them!

A set of short stories all well-written they all kept my interest until the end of the books I could not say which one was my favorite as they all had their own merits. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

STEAMY ANTHOLOGY CONTAINING ELEMENTS OF POWER EXCHANGE
The book is a collection of six short stories with a paranormal element and power exchange. From witches and magic to vampires and werebears, fairies and gods or an Amazon with a magical amulet, these are quick but a fun read with plenty of intense interaction.
1. Breaking the Rules is a story of a witch named Caia who comes to a resort owned by Tariq Blackwood. She needs sex with humans to recharge her powers, but Tariq doesn’t like that she wipes their memory. Tariq is half werebear and half vampire. It will become a power struggle for control.
“Never had a woman proved so provoking with her unpredictable behavior. Perhaps she needed reminding that she was his, that he was the one in control here. Time for playing was over. Each decision you make has consequences.”
2. Lust Cakes is a story of a mischievous fairy, Jasmine Sheridan and her boss, Damien Rolfson, a vampire. What happens when she mixed up a batch of lust induced cupcakes and passes them out to her coworkers? While they have a powerful aphrodisiac spell, they also wipe the memory. When her boss makes her eat a cupcake, what will happen between them?
“You know that my spell will affect us more.” “I do indeed, but you see I’ve had a thing for you ever since you started working here, Jasmine. I’ve had all sort of hot little fantasies about taking you. I would love to master you, Jasmine. You have no idea how appealing that would be.”
3. Amateur Witch is a story of Tammy and her boyfriend, James, who were to dress up and attend a Halloween party. Knowing James wasn’t into wearing a costume, Tammy mixes a drink and cast a spell—or did she? These two will never make their party but have their own incredible night at home, but in the morning, secrets are revealed.
“You’ve been lucky, Tammy. I think you need to stop messing with magic before you hurt yourself or someone else. I know it’s a tough decision, but some things are better off left alone.”
4. Amazon is a story that involves a costume party and a magic amulet. Carley and Samantha are going to Anna’s birthday and visit a shop where they get their costumes. But when at the party, Sam places the amulet around her neck, things change. Before she knows it, she is in the woods and comes upon a man, Adam, who she believes is a warrior. What happens when she takes him captive?
“You are worthy of being a captive, warrior.” She hit the poor bloke on the head, dragged him off into the forest like some cave girl and then used him like a stud. He was a complete stranger, whom under the influence of magic or something, she’d kidnapped and had sex with, and yet somehow, she trusted him and felt safe with him. He seemed a genuinely nice guy.
5. Revenge Fairy is about a fairy named Lily who claims to have been seduced and impregnated by a man named Camalus. But when her sister, Tana, the revenge fairy does research, it doesn’t match what her sister tells her. Is he a god who is a callous seducer, or just drop dead gorgeous? Who is crazy enough to impersonate a god and impregnate fairies? What happens with a god and a revenge fairy team up to catch a chameleon fairy?
Word had rapidly gone around that Tana wanted revenge on the Celtic god, Camalus, for seducing her sister and leaving her pregnant and she was furious because of it. “Of course, I want revenge on him if he is the god responsible, but I didn’t exactly want to advertise the fact.”
6. Hot and Bothered comes with an orgasm fairy named Eolande who uses her magic to help misguided souls, but what happens when she takes things too far and is now in trouble? Can the King’s son, Kalen, teach her a thing or two?

Breaking the Rules - she’s at his resort and gains her magic through sex. He is part vampire, part warebear, and he wants to claim her sassy self as his mate.
Lust Cakes - she’s a naughty fairy who put a lust spell in cupcakes to give to her coworkers, and he’s a vampire who wants her all for his own.
Amateur Witch - she is an amateur witch and tries a spell on her boyfriend to dress up as a vampire for Halloween, but he’s actually a vampire instead.
Amazon - she dresses up as an Amazon for a fancy-dress party, but actually becomes one with the help of an amulet and then rushes to find a man to mate!
Revenge Fairy - she’s a revenge fairy and he’s a god. She’s after him for impregnating her sister, but he is innocent and angry at her coming after him.
Hot and Bothered - she’s the orgasm fairy but he’s determined to show her how special orgasms can be with the right man.
Overall, I really enjoyed reading this collection! I would have loved if there was some sort of connection between the characters, but otherwise, I loved the stories and I loved the paranormal element to each of them. I flew through this book because it was just so entertaining and very steamy! Each was a unique story with different circumstances, but I could feel the connection between each of the couples!

Playing With Power is a compilation of six short, stand-alone stories. The leading lady in each story gets herself into mischief using her magic, and then we get to watch as the sparks fly with their leading men.
I enjoyed this book quite a bit and read it straight through in one sitting. If you like humor, paranormal romance, lust, love, sexy times with some power exchange and light BDSM thrown in, then you may enjoy this book.

This is a series of short stories with based in the magical, or paranormal world. Slightly amusing it is six stories about naughty fairies, or witches who play around with magics and get caught out by their significant other or, in some cases, a significant other they just happened to attract. Fairly entertaining, but not really for me.

A sweet fun read that I highly recommend.
This is a sweet fun read. Naughty girls getting into trouble and receiving discipline. All the characters are well done. Each story is different. All full of the super natural. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book and I highly recommend it. A quick sweet and enjoyable read.

This is a box of short stories where the characters play with the sexual power. They are well written with hints of darkness that gives them a push to the edge of romance. The mix of dark, paranormal and wanting to find the one is keeping the reader wanting to know more.

A super collection of six short paranormal stories. I enjoyed them all but did enjoy a couple more than the rest each one is a decent read. I enjoyed this book if you are looking for some hot little fun reads this is worth a go.
