Great for Beginners

This is a good book for people learning Japanese. It’s short and doesn’t overwhelm you, while at the same time it gets you acclimated to reading hiragana. There’s no kanji or katakana in the story, so if you’re wanting to learn those kana, you should look elsewhere .

Must read for Japanese learners

This book appears to be an excellent resource for individuals who are learning to read Japanese. Its exclusive use of kana makes it quite accessible, and the narrative itself is very captivating.

A classic Children’s Tale

I was pleasantly surprised that I could read much of this book with only occasional use of the dictionary.

The Kindle format is nice. There is an image of the original page above, with hiragana in a large font below.

A simple tale for those learning Japanese as it is written kn hiragana. I wish it did have a translation as I can read the words but do not know what I wm reading without a translator.
