G.K. De Rosa has been an avid reader from a very young age. In fact, before she could even read, she tried fooling everyone into thinking that she could. At the precocious age of two, while living in Italy, she had memorized an entire children’s book in Italian and expertly turned the pages at the exact right moments of the story. As she grew up, she always enjoyed literature, no doubt having been instilled with a love of story telling from her early years in Catholic school where she was greatly influenced by exemplary teachers who taught her the value of English and Literature. Though she did not pursue writing in college and instead went for the more traditional route of International Business inspired by her love for travel and all things foreign, after a move to New York City, she found her creative writing side calling once again. She began writing a restaurant review blog, City Lights and Tasty Bites, detailing her other passion – food! The hectic hustle and bustle of the city, combined with long commuting times gave her the opportunity to spend more time reading and rekindled a lost love. After reading countless books in many diverse genres over the two years in New York City, and returning to her home state of Florida, she felt compelled to write something for herself. She had always felt particularly drawn to Young Adult novels and having been an eternal romantic at heart, a fantasy romance was a natural choice. She currently lives in South Florida with her real life Prince Charming and their fur baby, Nico the German Shepherd.

DARK OBLIVION- by G.K. DEROSA & J.N. COLON 5 stars all the way.

OMG NOOOO I DON'T WANT IT TO BE OVER!!! It's been a great series, but I suppose it had to end sometime. BUT NO CAN'T IT CONTINUE? Maybe? In the Future? What an amazing, emotional, wonderful, unforgettable journey it's been with Solaris & Kaige, there the best couple. They certainly had their trials with, loss, fighting to be together, rebellions and the worst treachery I've read about. I really would have read well into their lives together? Hum, a bit of a side book or two, about things now like having babies. How Kaige's brother turns out? How Kaiges ruling goes? Oh, there really is so much to this story still. I think anyways. I truly loved this series, enjoyed reading it. I always waited until I knew I could read it without interruption, cuz God help the person who interrupted me while I was reading this book, or any of this series. Heck, I cursed my bladder and my stomach.
If you want a really great series to read, it's this one. It's full of everything love, hate, a fast paced story that keeps your attention glued to the book. I can't say enough about it. Cutouts to the Author's your work is magic. Thank you for giving me this book to read, without any obligation for a review. I thought that was pretty cool. Another book or so continuing this series would be really cool 😁. I hate the thought that it's over, it's been amazing reading this series. I'm so upset it's over, I was so invested in reading this series, it's all I thought about. When I finished one book I fixated on when the next was coming. This last book was excellent, a perfect, unrushed last book. However, because it's the last book I feel sad.

Solenge and Kaige find that Xander's plan to poison her not only makes her deathly sick, but also starts a deadly epidemic in humans and nocturnes. They hurdle all that stands in their way to find a cure and save both races. The twist on the prophecy is brilliant. Full of fast paced action, with a great plot and exceptional characters, I loved it! I received a complimentary copy and freely give my honest review.

Great ending!

Once I started to read the last book of this trilogy, I couldn't put it down because I wanted to know what happened next.

And the conclusion! Unexpected but so good.

My only disappointment is that it ended because I really liked Kaige for his heart and his love for Solaris.

Everything you want in an ending

This series have been fantastic. I’ve enjoyed the emotional ride with the characters and watching the development of their relationship. The dual POV made all the difference in understanding and growing with the characters.

The final installation did not disappoint. The ending was exactly what you want and the conflict resolution was well thought out.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys paranormal stories and romances. But also anyone who loves a good story line. Worth every minute spent reading.

*sigh*
While this series may not have been a five star- or very deep and moving, it was still a solid book. With solid characters, a solid storyline and solid writing. Something I was desperately needed and found.

Oh gods. I can't believe it's the end of this series already. I received a free copy for an honest review. I love this series so much. The story of Kaige and Solaris has been amazing to read. I was just as enraptured with this book as I was with the first two and I'm sad to see it end. There were a couple of twists that I didn't see coming so I applaud both authors. This series is sure to please anyone and will keep them on their toes.

a solid ending to the series that wraps everything up well.

my only “ehhhs” about this book was that I was annoyed by solaris how wishy-washy she became about her relationship with kaige literally after so many things happened as a result of their relationship. like people died and a pandemic started and people want to kill her and it’s literally after all that she starts second guessing her relationship… like she should’ve thought about ending it way before this whole fiasco happened (and this maybe could’ve been prevented) or like she should just ride and die like her and kaige have already gotten this far and we’re so adamant about their love so like why give up now? it was nice to see the male protagonist be so affirming in the relationship and kaige constantly reminded solaris that they were meant to be together. like before solaris and kaige were so sure that they would prevent the prophecy/beat it and were so sure about their love so it was a bit annoying to read solaris multiple times want to quit her relationship with kaige.

also I get that kaige went through a lot to become king and went through all those trials but like sometimes as I was reading….. I realized he seemed too immature for a king. I get that this is fiction and a romance, but like he was literally willing to sacrifice his people/kingdom for solaris and all I’m saying is that I would not want to be just subject lol if his decisions were based around a brash, headstrong girl.

the connection between draconis and imera was interesting and the crimes that the rulers were committing for the sake of their people/land shows a really enlightening way of viewing rulers… like yes they were corrupt but also it wasn’t just for their benefit solely but it was what they thought was best for their people too. I’m glad that the villains/crime wasn’t just one note. BUT speaking of villains why did xander get away scotch free? he literally started to pandemic and almost killed both nations and tried to kill solaris on multiple occasions yet he just gets banished to a place where he falls in love with a girl and is happy? I feel like his punishment should’ve been more severe but on the flip side I wish we got to read more about him and his motivations/intentions instead of just reading about him as a villain or as a jealous twin. if we read more about him I think the reader would feel more sympathetic towards him (which I feel like there were multiple opportunities to do so) and the ending that he had would’ve felt more justified.

but all in all, I binged read this series and despite all these criticisms I still enjoyed reading the book and it was a fun way to pass time!

I am so sad to see the conclusion of this series. I feel like I have made two new friends and now they are moving away. leaving me with a gap in my heart. You may think this is abit of an extreme feeling. however this just once again showcases the extraordinary ability of G.k.Derosa’s imagination and creative writing. Two complete opposites, light & dark, meant to be apart, because if they came together one was meant to extinguish the other, until Kaige meet Solaris. This final instalment of the Vampire Prophecy series, brings to fruition so many predicaments that has arisen from their first meeting. Can they keep denying the prophecy is about them, when so many wheels have been set into motion. The world they live in will get worse, however will they survive? Can they accomplish tasks that have had a chain reaction, that could end both worlds. Their friends & family are hurt, tortured and some dead. Their worlds collide with blood, death and horrific results. Kaige & Solaris have to decide if it’s better to be together or apart for the sake of each other’s worlds. Is their love strong enough? Will what they find in an unexpected and unexplored part of the world offer salvation or condemnation. Oooo you are in for a treat ! I don’t like leaving spoilers. So will try and sum up a new and fresh approach to the genre of vampire stories. This is an original and fresh approach to this genre. It keeps you guessing, it breaks your heart, lifts it, then crashes it again. There is a power in this series, a capacity capable of totally keeping your attention on the storyline and forgetting the world around you. Their reality becomes yours, their emotions become yours, their world is yours. All the characters work, from the main to even the ones on the sidelines, as no aspect of the world and character building is forgotten. This is an exceptional series, beautifully written, creatively imagined and powerfully characterised. It will keep your imagination and heart, page turning with a potency of intrigue, that will make time melt away. You will feel as if you heard and felt every written word of this series. G.k.DeRosa has shown a talent I will surely follow

There’s no stopping a prophecy.

When Kaige and Solaris first started seeing each other, they were testing the limits of the prophecy without even realizing it. But thanks to Kaige's brother Xander, a deadly and contagious poison is released into the human population. One that threatens to wipe out both nocturnes and humans.

Solaris and Kaige struggle with grief and guilt at the situation that's unfolding. They've realized it's impossible for them to remain apart because of their bond, but now, they must find a cure for the poison before it's too late. Upon their search, they discover an underground secret that may be the answer to everything.

DARK OBLIVION is just as incredible as the first two books. There's everything in this one: grief, happiness, love, action, suspense, and secrets. Just like with the others, I couldn't put this one down. DARK OBLIVION is the epic conclusion to The Vampire Prophecy series and I love it. All of my questions are answered and I love the twists the plot takes.

Final Verdict: If you like the other two in the series, you're going to love this one. It's perfect for fans of vampires and paranormal romance with a twist of dystopian. This series will remain in my favorite vampire series section.

A great end to a great series.

This finale takes up right where Book 2 left off, with Solaris contracting a virus that could very well spread to all of humanity and fulfill the prophecy forecasting Armagedon for both humans and vampires alike. Kaige, now king, races to save her life while chaos ensues and both societies are on the brink of collapse.

As before, the story is told in rotating POVs, allowing us to get inside the heads of both Solaris and Kaige, at the blood-bond they share that makes them inseparable yet still maintain very distinct personalities. I love both these characters (though Kaige could be overly possessive and jealous at times), and given that I am not a fan of vampire stories, that's quite an accomplishment.

But then, with two accomplished fantasy writers at the helm, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised. You won't either. Read this series!

Good finale

Told from Solaris and Kaiges POV, the story continues from the previous book. Its a good finale, lots of action and everything tied up at the end. I did think the ending could have delivered better. It seems led quite rushed with not alot of detail which spoiled it for me. Then an epilogue 2 years later which fell flat finishing at 86% but still a HEA. The 3 books should really be binded together as one. It really is a money making scheme. The books aren't really that long and the cost for each is quite alot especially for the number of pages in each with the last ending at 86%. I read them on kindle unlimited so don't feel cheated however the trilogy is really addictive and I don't give 5 stars for nothing, so if they were cheaper I would definitely buy them all. There is some sexual content but nothing graphic. Highly recommended

Dark Oblivion is the final book in the Vampire Prophecy series—and though I hate to have this amazing series be over because I want more, more, more—it truly was the perfect ending to the trilogy. It had everything and more to keep me invested and on the edge of my seat, reading well into the night. Who needs sleep anyway when you’ve got a great book in your hands? And this was definitely a great book, full of heartbreak, betrayals, justifications, secrets revealed about what truly lies within the Shadow Lands, an unwavering love despite the odds against it, and how far one will go to save it. I absolutely loved this book—the whole trilogy for that matter. Well done, G.K. DeRosa and J.N. Colon on a well crafted, one hundred percent addicting series.

OMG this story... I'm so sad it's over and yet so thrilled with this ending. Everything was perfect. I was so anxious after the second book left me hanging but Solaris and Kaige were still just as amazing together.

This book picks up right after the second. Kaige and Solaris don't believe the prophecy pertains to them, but death can come to their races in a number of ways and their union inadvertently sets in motion a sequence of events that will change Imera forever.

Fantastic characters. An original story. Great world building. This is one of the better vampire stories you'll find out there.

Great Conclusion.

From the beginning to the end, Kaige and Solaris experience an unceasing adrenaline rush, navigating through non-stop action to surmount the obstacles in their way. Heartache and an unexpected alliance that alters history looms for the couple.

I have been contemplating the blurry shadow they encountered in the Shadow Lands, and we finally receive an explanation in this book. They are the latecomer who contributes to resolving the chaos.

In summary, the Vampire Prophecy Series is a must-read for those who appreciate quick-paced, lighthearted, and enjoyable literature that culminates in a cheerful conclusion.

Honestly when i started this series I did not expect to enjoy it THIS MUCH!. It was a fast paced fun read with a Super Possessive/ Super hot nocturne! I liked the way the plot and the love story unfolded during the course of three books.

Ofcourse I wish I could have seen a bit more character development and a little more insight into the lives of the people around Kaige and Solaris.

I also wish two of my favorite supporting characters had made it :( but overall it was good light read from start to finish <3

Kaige and Solaris continue their star-crossed destiny when everyone is after then it seems like and just when it looks like the end is near for the pair things take another turn until the very end.
You don't know who is the enemy and who is on your side.
This is book 3 in the Vampire Prophecy series by the author. It is best to read the books in order because where book 1 leaves off book 2 starts.

I didn't want it to end!

Dark Oblivion is the epic conclusion to the vampire prophecy series, and I didn't want to see it end! Solaris and Kaige are both strong and intelligent, but put them together and they are the epitome of couple goals. Their love for each other was real and raw, and I couldn't get enough! The drama and revelations in this book are unique and kept me turning the page. Well done GK DeRosa and JN Colon! I'm excited to read more from these talented authors.

Good wrap up

I enjoyed this dark fantasy Romeo & Juliet story... It is a lot of back and forth throughout the books between the vampires and humans, their forbidden romance finally comes to light and when they seek refuge in the shadow lands they stumble across lumenocs vampire/human Hybrids... i really liked the twist of the lumenocs and how everything worked out in the end 💖

Great read!

Good character and relationship development with very natural story progression. Author managed to combine a great story and characters with solid writing skills and a good editor. Though, I will say the ending of this final book dragged on a bit. There's a LOT of wrapping up loose ends in the final chapters.
Still a lovely story. Still thoroughly enjoyed it!
