Hiding from the sting of a Texas dust storm Lakyn's luck finally changes when Juan Rivera lifts the edge of the coat she's hiding under. Trac Hughes, Juan’s best friend and fellow Dom at The Prairie Winds Club warns him they are not taking in another stray pet... but this time the club’s resident Latin lover is rescuing a woman Trac recognizes immediately beneath the smudges of dirt and wildly tangled hair. Juan doesn’t understand Trac’s amused grin, but he’s too distracted by his attraction to her to care. The vulnerability behind her violet-blue eyes is a siren’s call despite the fact she talks like a drunken sailor.
What is world famous model and actress, Lakyn Storm, doing along the side of the road in Texas? And why has she just asked Juan and Trac if they know Tobi West…
A big SHOUT OUT to all of the readers who have let me know how much they enjoy my books....you all are the reason I love writing! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for you support!
Writing is an escape from normal - which bores me to distraction. I'm sure my family would assure you I haven't even been in normal's neighborhood in years so I probably don't have a real solid grasp of the concept.
I like writing characters that are flawed, but lovable. And I like creating strong women who aren't afraid to speak their minds to the men in their lives.
I also love hearing from readers! Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and avery.gale@ymail.com are the best ways to get in touch with me. Let me know what you like and which characters you think should get their own stories!
- Avery Gale -
From an interview in 2017: "I don’t share a lot of personal information simply because I live in a small town and the genre I write doesn’t appeal to everyone.
My educational background includes a combined degree – psychology-criminal justice-sociology and a teaching certificate for secondary education. Lots of various jobs, something common in rural communities because there isn’t much available, so you need to be flexible."
When Trac and Juan stumble on Lakyn Storm, they are determined to find out why she is running and why she asks about Tobi West! And so begins another awesome story from The Prairie Winds Club and all the characters I've come to love. With Lakyn in seemingly danger, the crew tries to figure out why. Trac and Juan also begin teaching her about the delights of submission. Her brother, Cooper, is the only family she has and when he is injured and the crew doesn't tell her, let's just say I have never read where any of the subs have ever given the Doms such a dressing down!! Oh how I loved it!! I love the stories the Avery Gale weaves and how all these characters make the readers wish there really was a Prairie Winds Club and that Kent and Kyle West, and all the other Doms, were real. How cool would it be to have girlfriends like Tobi and Grace and Lily? Do yourself a favor and pick this book up.
Have waited for more of Ms Gale's Prairie Wind series, but this one left a lot to be desired.
The story was disjointed, not complete and was very superficial when it came to Lakyn, Trac and Juan's relationship. There was no real depth or development that I would expect from Ms Gale.
The last part was a good setup for the next book, but that is the best thing I can say about this one.
Loved Juan, Lakyn and Trac Lakyn Hicks or famously know as Lakyn Storm. Has been a model and actress since she was a child. Her parents meal ticket. The only real support she has ever hand is her big brother, Cooper. 7 years older, he has been as much a parent as brother. Their parents are gone. Cooper is all she has left. His job with the SEALs keeps him away most of the time. She does more managing of her career than her manager, Reggie. Some scary things have been happening. She is sure she has a stalker. The police have been less than helpful. Unable to reach Cooper, physically and emotionally drained, she heads to Texas for a much needed break and is hoping her on line friend Tobi, will open her home to her. Even that hits a snag when her car breaks down and she is stranded in a dust then thunder storm. Juan Rivera and Trac Hughes, former SEALs, FBI and now security with the West brothers at Prairie Winds. Best friends and Doms looking for a sub they can share. When they find Lakyn huddled on the road side, both are smitten. Trac knows who she really is and so do the West brothers. Lakyn's visit to Prairie Winds gets off to a rough start. She finds an old friend in Mia. Juan and Trac take her under their wing to explore the BDSM lifestyle. The West brothers are looking for Cooper. They want him on their team. Lakyn is targeted at Prairie Winds. Cam gets involved, everything is looking like the CIA is after Cooper and using Lakyn to get to him. Juan and Trac are going to do everything they can to protect the women they have claimed has theirs. A fun fast paced, and steamy MFM, BDSM romance. Crosses with the Adler series.
Oh my God it was so good to go back to prairie winds! Miss gale has once again outdone herself and written a thrill ride full of tons of humor as well as dangerous villians!
Well who's to say that you can't find love on the side of the road - Trac and Juan find Lakyn on the side of the road during a wind storm, she's on her way to see Tobi - let the adventure begin. Can't wait to see what happens with Cooper. Loved this story
I have enjoyed all the books in this series. Please don't keep your readers waiting for the next book . You left us with a cliff hanger I feel that Reggie needs to be dealt with me is a threat to Cooper and Lakyn future happiness. Don't make us wait to long.
I really enjoy all of Avery Gale's books. They are funny and the comaderie she has between her characters is wonderful. makes it feel like a family unit and real community. I cannot wait for Cooper's book and am looking forward to reading it.
What a fabulous story. I absolutely loved Lakyn, Trac and Juan. It was wonderful touching base with familiar characters and Prairie Winds. The story flowed really well, had lots of twists, and had a bit of a surprise conclusion. I am soooo hoping Cooper gets his story.
This series just gets better and better. The storylines are exciting and never predictable. I love that previous characters appear and it makes the series even more special and exciting to read. Bring on the next book and adventure xx
This is a great addition to the series. The storyline flows and is well written. I love how Avery Gale 's books pull you in and you can't wait for more.
Mischief and mayhem once again rules Prairie Winds Club as Lakyn Storm literally blows in. She's on the run from a stalker when Juan and Trac find her wandering in a blinding dust storm. One look in her eyes and Juan knows she's their one. Lakyn is as much a fireball as her friend Tobi West. Containing and controlling her will be a challenge for her two Doms. Add in the fact that Lakyn's CIA brother Cooper has been compromised and someone is using her to get to him, you've got a fast paced, can't put it down read.
Avery Gale's uncanny ability to spin romance, intigue, danger and humor into a fascinating story imakes for a thoroughly enjoyable reading experience. Her characters are multidimensional, strong, sexy and talented. Her touches of humor make for laugh out loud moments. In fact, Tobi West has become one of my time favorite characters because of the way Avery pens Tobi's hilarious antics.
