Poetry as a story!
Someone recommended this book to me and I wasn't too excited to read it, but I promised I would. I was pleasantly surprised. You could feel her hurt, pain, and sadness. This author is an emotional writer. My favorite poem is UGLY. She poured out her life experiences in this read. I appreciate how her poems gets straight to the point. They can make you feel what she's feeling. She's speaking her truth. Yes, she started with the sad and lonely and ends it with the FIERY SWEET SEXY side!!! I enjoyed it and recommend it!
