Tiffany wanted to prove herself as a firefighter. She was always preoccupied when Rod was around. Will she risk the lives of her and her crew if she couldn’t keep her focus?
Tiffany fought fires like she lived her life; nothing to lose and nothing to fear. She loved being a part of the Hot Shots family and nothing in this world terrified her; except Rod. Her supervisor and fellow firefighter stirred up embers in her body that she fought with fervor. Could he melt the icicles in her heart or would it go up in flames?
What an emotional story. It’s a quick read that packs an emotional punch. I don't really know how to describe it. Tiffany and Rod are Hot Shots injured in a fire. It's a story that tells of her recovery and how realizing that letting love in can heal most everything. What I loved most about this story is that you are just going along and enjoying it and then a twist is thrown in...Could this all be a dream? Could this have happened before the fire? Who is the mystery Karen that helped Tiffany in the fire? This is really a great story that touchs your heart and really shows a grown love. Tiffany has to be one of my favorite characters that I've read this year. Opening her heart was hard for her but she learned that it's okay and by letting Rod in, she found life was better and happier. A definite must read for those that like mature romance, firefighter romance, and spiritual romance.
