Life for me has always been about balance. Being able to control situations and always knowing what to expect next. I’ve never been one for surprises and hated being caught off guard. I learned life doesn’t always go as planned when I was shot in the line of duty and my life came to a screeching halt.
After that, I needed to escape from everything and everyone I knew and loved. A move that I thought would bring peace and balance back to my life. Instead, it brought more questions and chaos. Who is this beautiful woman behind the bar? Why is she so afraid of me?
Those questions were answered, and my life was turned upside down again.
Nicola
There is one thing in my life that is worth fighting for. Worth dying for. My daughter. Fleeing an abusive husband alone with her was terrifying, but I knew it was the right decision. What I didn’t know was just how long we could remain hidden.
We mostly kept to ourselves, living day to day, biding our time until I could make some money and make a decent plan. I was caught off guard when I met an intriguing man that started working alongside me at the bar. I was resolved to keep our secret, but a man like Gavin Stone cannot be ignored.
When our worlds collide, I am forced to trust someone I hardly know.
I was so happy to finally get my hands on this book. I love the stone bothers and now seeing their kids story is amazing. I love Gavin and Nicola story it was real and sweet. I can't wait to read cafe and Harper story.
Another amazing book by T. St John - I just love the Stone Family. Very well written, I could feel every emotion Gavin and Nicola were feeling. So much going on, I couldn't put it down. This was definitely my favorite Stone book so far. I highly recommend this series, you will not be disappointed.
Gavin ~ Book two in the Made From Stone series was awesome!! Definitely as good as Lane ~ Book one. Looking forward to Harpers story. Nicola, Gavin and Allison’s story was very moving and touching. Loved how she was in such a empty dark place and Gavin gave her hope, love and a reason to stop looking over her shoulder and start living. After Gavin was shot while rescuing Mallory (Lane’s love) and suffering a stroke, he was afraid to live and look forward to his tomorrow’s. Nicola gave him the drive to live and love again.
I truly enjoyed the first generation of the Stone Family and the second generation does not disappoint. Nicola and Gavin meet back in Kentucky and both are running. One is running from an abusive relationship and the other is running from nightmares. Can these two find safety, security, love and most of all happiness in each other?
Where do I start! I LOVED this book so much! I know it's been a long road to finally reading Gavin but boy was it worth the wait!
Storyline - 4/5 Great back story of characters and establishing the reason behind them wanting to escape. One to save her and her child's life and the other to find their purpose.
Romance- 3/5
I was irritated that they were intimate but did not think to exchange numbes! I'm just nitpicking though. The chemistry was 🔥! Looking back i even think it makes sense that they wouldn't exchange numbers dup to Nicola being on the run, focused solely on Allison and herself and not expecting to fall for Gavin so suddenly after leaving Jason. Plus, Gavin seemed to not expect to find 'his one'.
Suspense- 5/5
I was NOT expecting Jason to turn out to be as sadistic and maniacal as he did! Wow, glad he's gone for good!
Epilogue/ HEA-5.5/5
Ms T always delivers on her epilpgues! This is probably the best one yet!
Wow, that was so heart-warming. I cried when they exchanged their vows, that was perfect. I loved their happy ever after! It truly made my heart race! It seems so fitting that Gavin would end up with 4 daughters
Prologue to Harper's book- 4/5
I'm intrigued with how Harper's romance will go since the dad always ask the same 2 questions. Turn-about is going to be strange since SHE will be the one getting pregnant/knowing for sure that Cade's 'her one'. Can't wait for how the Stone men handle/ lose their minds over this! Now I'm dying to know more about Cade and Harper's rendezvous with the raincoat...

I felt like I waited forever for this book but it was worth the wait. Allison stole the show in the book. Gavin was lost and Nicola saved him even though she was the one with the abusive husband. It was a great story and a great read!
This book is a long time coming and I am so glad she didnt rush to get his story out, to me the way his story plays out is absolutely amazing.
Gavin is in Kentucky with his Grandfather trying to figure out his life then he meets her the one now he has her past and his to deal with and a little girls heart to help heal right along side of her moms.
We all know though the Stone men when they love it is hard and fast and forever! Bring on Harper!!
This was a super sweet read for me. Gavin is a strong man recovering from an accident in a small town where he meets the shy and timid Nicola who is running from a painful past. Together they try to overcome the hurt from their past to forge a future together. Love this series!
I love The Stone Series and Gavin was well worth the wait. Enjoyable. I adore the relationship between Gavin and Nicola. He is everything he should be being a Stone family member.
Please read the books in order otherwise you’ll be worth you didn’t.
Omg I sped thru this book! I loved every word. I had been anticipating Gavin’s story 😀 and I was not disappointed. Now I get to wait for Cade and Harpers story! I cant wait!

What a comeback. She was a little over the place with what she wanted, but with her past the doubts were justified. Loved it. Those Stone men. Great story.
