Seduction and Love on The Run
Mrs. Maureen Smith is definitely in her element when she crafts this WINNING combination of romance and suspense. “Secret Agent Seduction”, is an on the edge of your seat action-packed thriller with just the right mix of romantic and heartwarming moments. The main characters are UNFORGETTABLE and the storyline flows across the pages. Lia is a beautiful, hardworking, strictly by the book Secret Service Agent, on a mission to rescue the intelligent, SEXY-AS-ALL-GET-OUT rebel leader of a war-torn Caribbean republic. Mrs. Smith will keep you turning the pages, as you “watch” Lia and Armand struggle to fight their SIZZLIN' attraction, that only intensifies while they are confined to the close courters of a mountain cabin. Will Armand convince Lia that they belong together, FOREVER?!! Or will Lia allow her job and her plain ol' stubbornness, to cost her the ONLY man she's ever loved?!! Definitely better than the second book in this “Romance on the Run” series (which I'm STILL struggling to get through). And I hope Mrs. Smith does create stories for the Magliore Twins, I'd love to read more about this strong, tight-knit family and their circle of friends. Well done, Mrs. Smith!

Ms. Smith knows how to write and action romantic. Armand and Lia are perfect for each other. He fell in love with Lia eight years before he meet her when she was doing peace work in Muwaiti. He see her and that it for him, Lia mentioned during their time together that when she was leaving Muwaiti, she felt like she was leaving a part of herself behind. I love these characters and their chemistry.
In the end, the dictator was eliminated, the couple separated for 6 months and eventually Lia found home with Armand as his soon to be first lady. Muwaiti was home for her long before she realized it. I love when Armand introduced her as Miss Lia Charles, from America and she will be staying with us for a very, very, long time.
Tropical island country with the man of your dreams as his first lady sounds like the best HEA and Lia realizes that's what she wanted and deserved.

Didn't keep my interest as a lot of other Maureen Smith's novels have, but it's not bad.

Fun and sexy read. I liked the romantic suspense with African ancestry leads without the usual stereotypes.

This book started off with a BANG with action-packed drama. The romance between the two characters was hot and steamy!! This book is one I will read again.
