*I received a free copy of 30 Days: Part Three. This has in no way influenced my voluntary review which is honest and unbiased.*
3.5 stars
This third part had so much going on it was almost a bit too much for me at times. The writing is really good, and the main relationship, as well as the friendships are portrayed in a very nice way. However, there are so many sub-plots, and I felt like one or two of them could have not been a part of the story, and nothing would have been lost. But I might have felt closer to Marcus especially if things had been slightly different.
Abi has grown a lot since the beginning of the series, and she has really taken herself in hand. She has gotten to know herself very well, she knows what she wants and she also knows what needs to be done in order to achieve it.
I enjoyed the interactions between Marcus and Sammy almost as much as I enjoyed the interactions between Abi and Sammy! And the fact that Mosby and Marcus became such good friends made my heart so very happy.
Abi's mother also got her life in order, and it was awesome to see her be able to do more than just work and worry about Abi!
Overall, a very nice ending to the series, and I have definitely enjoyed the ride.
Finding The Magician still had the couple apart, and I still didn't really understand their romance. When they were together, their chemistry was very hot, but I didn't really see a deeper relationship between them. The writing was beautiful, though, and I will definitely read more by Brooks in the future.
I have been enthralled with this series from the first page of book one and that roller coaster rode continued through the last page of this book. Just when you think it's going to get predictable Ms. Brooks throws in another gut punch twist. Great series.
If you think you've been on a Rollercoaster in the first 2 books of this great series, then you're in for a treat. I will rewrite this review once the book is released as I don't want to ruin it for anyone........
TJ is giving this one 4.5 stars and she talks about it as best she can without giving any spoilers away. It's safe to say, Belle Brooks is an author we all need to pay attention to!
Holy heck what an eding to this trilogy! I can honestly say that I had no clue what was around the corner in this story as so many things popped up. I love an unpredictable storyline and this one is a beaut.
First off—Abigail has truly grown-up as well as grown on me. 😆 I found her to be a tad self-centred in the previous stories but this one shows a much different side to her, phew! Next, Samantha, just like in previous books, is a terrific support character and truly helps Abigail so much. Then, Marcus surprised me somewhat in this story, he had a lot more going on, the sneaky fellow. His love for Abigail never waned though, nor hers for him, and this truly is an amazing love story.
Be prepared for lots of twists and turns with plenty of action and drama. An absolute abundance of emotions graces the pages of this story. Everything from fear to anger, devastation to complete happiness and every other feeling in between. I laughed out loud but I also did cry as well, those tears were real as I read the most poignant words.
An incredible final instalment in Abigail and Marcus’ life.
Finding The Magician, the third and final part of the Thirty Days Series is an amazing read! Belle Brooks brought the story together beautifully...but after us having to guess what was going to happen next... There was every emotion under the sun in here. So many twists and turns, that at moments I felt sure things couldn't get any better. Or worse. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
There was some interesting and intriguing moments in this book, but mainly it was filled with love and hope.
I won’t say too much as you need to read the entire story. But the words flow beautifully and the story creates a beautiful narrative for life ! Don’t give up, hold on !
i thought the first book was ok, not to thrilled with book 2 and the last book had me losing interest in the series. In my opinion i didn't think the story flowed smoothly. This series was a 3 to 3.5 star read
4.5 stars what a good ending to the series, i struggled with this series a little but this ending brought it altogether for me. i found myself crying a few times during this book. again i loved the aussie lingo used in this book. this is the 3rd book in a series of 3. i definitely recommend everyone giving tbis series a read. I voluntarily reviewed this book.
What a heart breaking beautifully way to end a series, I loved the first two books and surprised me so much with the cliffhangers and the way Belle Brooks just wrote those stories I was so excited to read Finding The Magician.
Nothing was going to prepare me for what the last installment was going to give me, but I never thought for a second this would be how the story ended.
Marcus would have to be one of my favorite male characters I am calling dibs on him being my book boyfriend of 2016. I loved everything about him, his loyalty, his love, his caring, his attractiveness he is the best package and I want one :) I loved how his love for Abigail never wavered.
Abigail well she is a beautiful human being and I loved her story from start to finish. I love how she is who she is and there are no apologies and the heartbreak she has, makes her so strong and she just keeps going I love it, I will take away a lot from her character.
While reading this book I felt like this was a very long extended epilogue and I loved it, how everything was coming together. Marcus and Abigail's story was awesome but not perfect by any means and then bam the ending happens and this was not an epilogue it shows us the true meaning of life.
The lessons you learn from Belle's writing is truly valuable and you take so much away from these 3 books it will make you re-evaluate the way you think about life and teaches you to take everyday as a gift cause you don't know what tomorrow will bring.
I laughed, I cried, I sobbed, there was action, drama and a fantastic story line, I felt so much in my heart it was such a fantastic read and you couldn't predict what was going to come through the story.
This book was the perfect ending to a series one of my favorites and can't wait to read this book and series all over again and I don't say that about many books.
If you haven't picked up this series do it and if you have and are waiting for Finding the Magician then get it as soon as you can you won't be disappointed.
Well done to you Belle you deserve every success with this series and book and I cannot wait to read more books from you big fan here big fan :)
Thank you so much for giving me the chance to read this book early and give you my honest opinion thank you :)
5+++++++++++++++++ stars for this book and the series.
Abigail has luckily been given a do-over, and this time, she's not going to waste it. She has a box that Marcus gave her to hold on to, but does it hold the clue she needs to find him? Now that all of her memories are present and accounted for, all she has to do is find her Magician. Marcus' whole life has gone down the drain, as he lost his parents, and he's coming to grips with the fact that Abigail may never remember. He's disappeared from his life, and he's promised himself he'll never look back. But with Abigail looking for him, and his heart leading him home, will he give in one more time?
So it seemed like FOREVER since the ending of Thirty Days Part 2, and now, but OMG, it was worth all of the impatience, as Belle Brooks delivered an EPIC ending to this angsty goodness that had me calling her many names. Now I have said it since the first book that her writing style is brilliant, but seriously, she rose to new levels of brilliant with Finding the Magician. The many twists and turns kept the f-bombs dropping at warp speed, and all of my dramatic girly girl emotions were on display as well. The hilarious banter had me ready to wet my pants from laughing until I was snorting, and the panty destroying sexy scene goodness was FIERY HOT! So let me touch on something in general terms, (the author know what I'm getting at), WHY OH WHY WOULD YOU CONTINUE TO TRY AND KILL ME DEAD?! Even though it's the aggressive time in my life with football season going, I still ended up crying like a baby, and not delicate tears, but snot slinging, can't breathe flood of tears. So yes, I'm still calling this author colorful metaphor names, but I still have to HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this EPIC ending to an EPIC Trilogy!
This is an enthralling series, and this book is a fitting conclusion. Layer upon layer of mystery and intrigue awaits the unsuspecting reader of this last in the trilogy; and in peeling back each layer, the question remains, what is reality and what is a dream?... and at the centre of this conundrum, there’s Marcus and Abi.
Written in dual point of view, Marcus and Abi’s story continues to head towards an inexorable climax. It’s uncertain at times whether these two are finding their way back to each other or moving farther apart. From the very first book in the series, I described the experience of falling down a rabbit hole and this third and final chapter continues this twisted, crazy journey.
I’ve been taken on such an emotional journey with moments of great sadness, frustration, deep loss, happiness, and joy, but above all else, this is a captivating story about the love shared between family, friends as well as lovers that transcends all the darkness and angst, assisted by more than a touch of magic...I received a revised copy of this book from the author
Thirty Days: Part Three was simply awesome! Belle Brooks is an amazing storyteller. Like her other books; this story takes you on one heck of an emotional roller coaster ride. I laughed, cried and worried my way through the story. There were some crazy plot twists and turns that in some places left me feeling completely blindsided. I was so intertwined in to the story; that I honestly worried about how it was going to end. I mean, could I handle more heartbreak in the story? The characters in the book felt like friends and they have been put through the wringer. The ending ended up being nothing short of shocking; but it wrapped the story up in a perfect way.
If this wasn’t the craziest series I’ve read this year I don’t know what else could top this... This book literally had every plot you could imagine in it! Lol... I gave it an extra star because Abigail wasn’t as annoying as she was in the first two books but she still got on my nerves... I did like the dual POV’s but other than that this book was skimmed through like no other... I really hate that I have this need for closure which is why I even started/finished this series...
This was an interesting read but it almost felt like it was resolved before I got 20% into the book. In fact, it felt more like several mini stories in one book because they kept getting resolved instead of conflict that spanned the entire book. It did make the flow seem very choppy. That being said, the author knows very well how to delve into the deep dark recessed of feelings, especially pain, and make the reader feel it too.
I don't even know how to begin this review the emotions are still all fuddled from the ending, powerful ending of this emotional series. Yes the first two books were awesome and emotional but this last one had lots of intense moments that just take your breath away. There were times when I wanted to choke Abi as she was so back and forth and crazy to the extreme. Then to find out about the choices Marcus made during his time away from Abi just made it worse. Abi was very lucky and had good people to stand beside her during every phase of things, loosing her memory, her Mar-Mar and the visits in her dream, her mother, Sammy, even Mosby. It comes full circle at the end. And while this author has teased us with memorable cliff hangers this time she just rips our hearts out. I don't like telling spoilers II just have to say this author has an amazing knack for providing a cliff hanger, suspending a moment in time, wrestling and overtaking your emotions. This series is emotional, especially for an old softie like me. This is most definitely one of those series you will revisit.
This was an amazing read. The entire series is strong and complete, with characters that just burrow into your heart. This is more real than most books seeing life really does throw you loops and it is how you handle it that makes the difference. Well done, dragging our hearts thru the wringer and making us fans for life of your writing. You have earned your place in our hearts with this series, and I look forward to the heart dance that will be a part of the next series as well.
'Taking his time, he finds the key to my heart. It unlocks and I'm claimed. Forever his. Forever lost to his touch.
Just as you start to convince yourself Marcus and Abigail's story is finally going to be all sweetness and light, more happens that breaks your heart and once again the author blows your mind.
This is a must read series. It has psychological twists that jump out at you, a love story that is one of the most beautiful I have ever read and how the author Belle Brooks puts it together is out of this world.
The authors writing style had me wanting to re-write every quote from the book.
This series gave me one of the worst book hangovers ever. Between processing the three books in my head and actually accepting what happened in the books and being heartbroken it was over. What a series!
And to end the review this series is summed up by the below review.
'We have been on the longest journey, a journey that has been plagued with a curse, hell bent on keeping us apart'.
Favourite quotes:
I'm a magical unicorn who posseses a crystal ball to the future'
'you've lost so much. I've also been given plenty'. I try to sound genuine in my reply. 'Marcus'. I know she can tell I'm lying life f**ked me up the a*se and took everything that mattered or was ever important away. Except now I have Abigail. Don't leave me to'.
'My mind is a mess, a jigsaw puzzle with pieces scattered, turned upside down and hidden under others - I am not liking this puzzle - it's too dofcukt to wrap my head around'.
Life should never be taken for granted. Live it like the unpredictable is waiting around the very next corner.
I'm baffled. I think I will need some time to just really process what I have read. Once again, Belle Brooks leaves me astonished and completely speechless. My heart it just aches. It's so full yet ... God, wow! And that ending...
I'm not sure how she does it. She's a witch and her stories her spells, she ensnares her readers with heartbreaking beauty. All of her stories contain a lesson. A lesson for life, for love, for gratitude. There's a million things I want to say about this but everything I type out contains a spoiler and I just can't do that to the next reader. Go into this and expect to come out changed. Love, happiness it isn't about the amount of time/money spent on someone. It's about the moment. That ONE moment, the one that gives your entire life meaning.
My heart hurts, my eyes and nose are so damn puffy, I think I should invest in stock at a tissue company. The beauty that was Thirty Days part 1, 2 and Finding The Magician is beyond anything. I was rocked by Always You, but these have earned their place in my heart. Belle Brooks, whatever you do, don't stop writing. You are amazing.
“I’m a magical unicorn who possesses a crystal ball to the future.”
****4 emotional roller coaster stars****
This is the a series finally. Entire series needs to be read as follows: Thirty Days, Thirty Days part two, Finding the Magician.
A heartbreaking ending to a well developed series! Following Marcus and Abigail on their journey has brought on many emotions. These characters will have you seduced, angered, saddened, and shocked! The Thirty Days series is a highly recommended, must read!!!
Five years have passed since Marcus lost Abigail, but there has never been a chance for him to have closure. A break up nor a death separated them; an unexpected traumatic accident caused young Abigail lose all her memories of the life she once had. Through her dreams, Abigail is lead to her grandmother where she slowly rediscovers not only herself but remembers those highs and lows of the life she’d seem to have forgotten. Applying the information from her dreams to reality, she finds it difficult the to place the pieces of her memory into the bigger picture. Her mission is to find Marcus, only he holds the answers to her remaining questions. Can their soul deep connection be enough to weather away the criminal acts, lies, and deception that have occurred in their time apart?
There are no words to describe how excited I was to start reading Part 3 of this series after reading the first two. Belle has done an exceptional job with these and this one was no different. It was very well written with a bigger rollercoaster of emotions than the previous two (I warn you, you will need tissues by the end of it… a lot of them), again there was a lot of humour which I absolutely loved and found myself laughing so hard at. There were a few hot and sexy scenes between Abi and Marcus, they were adorable and perfect for each other. I loved how crazy protective they both were and I'm so happy they found each other. I loved these characters and their interactions with each other so much, I was really sad to see the book end. There were quite a few unexpected turns in this book that I was really surprised about but I liked them, it made the story whole and became really interesting (except towards the end, I absolutely did not like that part one bit… why Belle?! Why?!). This is one series I definitely recommend to everyone
Abigail has awaken from her coma and she remembers everything. How is it that she has lost so much in life and can remember so much more? Stuff that hasn't even happened.
It has been five years since her accident. Since she lost the life that once made her so happy. It has been five years since she forgot about Marcus. And now, that she remembers him, she must find him. But he has been missing for quite some time now. He has lost so much more than even she could ever know or understand. Life has been hard for him, but a love like that which they have shared can never die.
I looked forward to this book, because there was so much that had happened in the first two, and I just knew that this book would be the best one for their ending. But the ending wasn't quite what I had in mind. I wasn't ready. I am not sure anyone that read this book would have been ready. I enjoyed the series thoroughly and look forward to reading more from Belle Brooks.
The conclusion of this story is raw, breathtaking and emotional from start to finish - absolutely life changing. This book took my heart on a ride as I cried happy and sad tears. It reminded me why it’s so important not to waste a minute, let alone a day. I couldn’t wait to know how this book would end and I definitely did not see that coming. My heart wasn’t ready and when you truly love someone, there is never enough time. There is so much beauty, joy, friendship and love woven in the pages that it makes the pain and heartache worth it. Life has different obstacles and paths for everyone. Each day is like a new piece of a puzzle that one day will be complete. There’s a reason why the missing pieces are so important. They change the way everything fits and without them what was created is never the same. A lot can happen in 30 days and you can’t turn back time, so don’t waste a second!
This will be short and sweet! Being the thrid book in the series and the finale of this amazing love story between these two characters, we get even more epic ride then the first 2 books!
Simply put, I loved it. The author did amazing justice to these characters and their lives that I can't help but be said that it's over. I do have to stay that I am so glad I waited for them to all be out before I read them! I would have went crazy if I had to wait for each book!
Overall, I know that it's a short review but I can't give anything away, but if you read and enjoyed the first 2 books you have to read this book! I have to say, she really out did her self on the 3rd and final installment of this series!! I can't wait to see what more this author is going to write in the future! I am definitely a fan for life after all the books I've read of hers! 5 stars #2OCCJD
Abi makes it her mission to find Marcus and after many months with no clues she decides to head to Sydney to her sister. Marcus decides that he needs to return to Australia one last time to see Abi from a distance before saying goodbye. As fate has it Abi see Marcus and they can’t take their eyes off each other. Although their happiness is short lived as Marcus goes to sort our business in Peru. On returning from Peru, Marcus and Abi start to work on the lives together. Each day Abi remember more and more, with some of the things she remembers Marcus is confused as to how she knows. Your kept on your toes as Abi remember things and there are twist and turns that keep you intrigued. The ending does give you the happily ever after but also sadness at the same time. An amazing series not to miss.
This is the third and final part to this trilogy and what an amazing story to end with. This is the continued story of Marcus and Abi, amazing well characters which have grown in each book you read. This story was brought together beautifully from start to finish. There is lots of twists and turns through out and this is an emotional filled read from start to finish. This is the heart breaking yet beautifully end to this amazing well written trilogy from this author. I can't wait to see what they bring out next.
I was given an advanced reader copy of this book and this is my honest review 💻 www.obsessedbook reviews.com
This is the 3rd and conclusion of Marcus and Abi’s story. There was no way I was prepared for the emotional turmoil in this final book in this awesome series. Abi has gone through so much, but she is strong and has the determination and strength to carry on with her life. Marcus “The Magician” is gone, but is the key to where he has gone in the box, he left with her? This is a beautifully written emotionally charged story, which is filled with suspense, action, twists and turns, drama, intrigue, mystery, which all leads to a humorous and entertaining finale. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Life has taken Marcus and Abi in two different directions and the discovery of the truth about her memories have given her new purpose. As she and Marcus discover the path they must take to be together, they both struggle to fight against what's holding them back from living the life they want. Belle Brooks has given us characters that you desperately want to see happy after everything they’ve been through. With this book, she definitely gives your heart and emotions quite a ride with this incredible love story.
