5☆ Loving this Scrumptious Series so far!

Confetti & Confusion is the second book in The Paradise Cookery School Series. I was thrilled to be back reading this instalment and being back in St Lucia with Millie.

Once again a word of warning.... Do Not Read This Book on an Empty Tummy!!
It will make your tummy rumble! Especially if your a chocoholic like me!

So we're back with Millie and the Paradise Cookery School is now open for business. With Millie helping out with the classes for celebrity Chef Claudia.

So what better way to kick off the classes then with a hen party and bride to be Imogen. I mean what could possibly go wrong!

I am absolutely loving this scrumptious series so far!
There is plenty of Drama, mishaps, mayhem, old flames, romance, a wedding, yummy food, laugh out loud moments, Chocolate and Cake, a gorgeous location, i just want to pack my suitcase and jet off to The Paradise Cookery School.

This is a Fabulous short read that will leave you hungry and wanting more. The characters are perfectly written, witty, loveable and fun.

I love Daisy James's Books she always makes me smile, laugh out loud , feel good, leaving me wanting to read more. Her characters are always so warm and relatable. She is definitely one of my Favourite Authors.

This Instalment can be read as a standalone but there is so much drama, mishaps and humour in the first book it sets the whole scene for Confetti and Confusion.

If you are looking for your next summer cosy feel good read. Then pick up a copy of Confetti & Confusion by Daisy James it will leave you smiling, warm and hungry!
Enjoy!

Thank you to Canelo for this copy which I reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Once again we travel to the gorgeous Caribbean island of St Lucia and join Millie Harper and the Paradise Cookery School. This book is the second in a series, the first being ‘Sunshine and Secrets‘ which was reviewed by myself back in March 2018.

Millie is standing in for celebrity chef Claudia and running the cookery school. She was initially asked to come to the island to help oversee the work on the new school, but with Claudia still unavailable it is up to Millie and chef and friend Elle to run the place.

Their first customers are there for a week’s worth of baking and tasting as part of a hen party. Imogen is the bride-to-be and is enjoying learning how to make glorious chocolate recipes. her mum, however, isn’t quite so keen, she is also a bit full on when it comes to the wedding arrangements. The cookery school was booked to give the party a relaxing time but it would seem the party is in for one mishap after another.

St Lucia sounds so divine and this book makes me want to visit it, not only for the sights but the delicious smells that this book seems to input into your brain whilst you are reading.

I enjoyed catching up with Millie and seeing how she would cope with running the school. She might be a dab hand in the kitchen – she is a Michelin Star Chef after all, but speaking in front of people and teaching is not her forte.

The book has plenty of laugh-out-loud scenes and was a real joy to read. Millie was the saviour of the book, over and over again. It was quite amusing being witness to some of the disasters, although I’m sure I wouldn’t be laughing quite as much if they were happening to me.

Whilst I believe it would be best to start with the first book in the series, I couldn’t really see anything in this one that would make it difficult to understand what was going on if you read this as a stand-alone.

It is a quick read at only 160 pages, but the book is filled to the brim with delightful characters and a plot worth investing your time in.

I had already read and loved the first book in this series, Sunshine and Secrets, so eagerly looked forward to reading this sequel - and I definitely wasn't disappointed! Mishap Millie is cooking up a storm but it isn't of her own making - well not all of it. Millie is a Michelin star chef in her own right but is currently stepping in for a celebrity chef to help set up and start to run the courses at the Paradise Cookery School. However, even the best laid plans can go wrong despite meticulous planning and rehearsal - and this time that's just what happens to the first clients, bride-to-be Imogen and her chocolate loving friends. There's one disaster after another, mysterious events and a possible romance that is initially thwarted by an unexpected arrival.

The setting on the Caribbean island of St Lucia is brought vividly to life in this delightful story which is filled with tasty, mouthwatering treats. It was great to reconnect with many characters from the first book but I suspect you could read this one as a standalone if you haven't read that one. The twists and turns, disastrous events and problems for the wedding party have Millie striving to come to the rescue time after time. However, don't expect this to be a doom and gloom story, it is anything but! It has many laugh out loud moments, plenty of humour and constantly brought a smile to my face. It was a great read and would be lovely to read at any time of year, bringing sunshine into the lives of readers. I'm looking out for the next book in this series, Mistletoe and Memories, which is due to be released in September 2018 - I can't wait to discover what happens next on this Caribbean cooking adventure!

I requested and was given a copy of this book, via NetGalley. This is my honest review of the book after choosing to read it.

This is the second book in the Paradise Cookery school series and it really felt like visiting old friends. Millie was called in to help when one of the owners had an accident and was unable to get the school up and running. In the second book Millie is helping out with a hen party doing a delicious sounding chocolate experience.
It's a really heartwarming book, with wonderful sunny pages making you wish that you could escape to join them.
This book has everything - chocolate, romance, a wedding, catastrophes, and the most picturesque setting. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Millie is a Michellin-star chef who was left in charge of the courses at The Paradise Cookery School, a business run by chef Claudia. She's running a course called Chocolate and Confetti for Imogen's wedding to Alex, and Zach is there too. Millie and Zach met when Millie was out exploring and Zach was walking his dog Binks in the first book in the series (Sunshine and Secrets) which I had the pleasure to review and really enjoyed.

Will the wedding and course go to plan? Millie is known for things not going great always in her life. She does love St Lucia though and her new life which has been her reality since she left England. Everyone in the book has their own character traits and the book is full of beautiful scenery and sweet treats and cocktails. There's friendship, laughs and ups and downs in this fun but short novel. This installment is shorter than book #1 but no less enjoyable. There was a slight repitition of what cake pops were which I thought was a bit unnecessary but that was the only flaw.

I wanted to go to St Lucia when I sped theough the first book, and I do even more now. The book is atmospheric and realistic but I do think it lacks some of the depth of the surroundings of the cookery school and the island as well as island life that the first book had. I must admit, I did miss bubbly, colourful Claudia and I hope she's back soon. I've heard there will be a third installment in the series, Mistletoe and Memories, which will be released in September 2018.

A well-timed quick summer read which I'm glad I have the ARC of. Thanks to Daisy James and Canelo for the ARC of this latest installment in The Paradise Cookery School series in exchange for an honest and voluntary review and the chance to participate in the blog tour for this book.

What a lovely burst of sunshine this story is, after all it is set in the caribbean paradise of St. Lucia and features a great deal of delicious sounding chocolate creations.

This has all the trademarks of a Daisy James book - romance, a fabulous setting, beautiful descriptions and tasty food, with a great selection of characters.

I loved that the Paradise Cookery School was set on a cocoa plantation, and despite not reading the first book of this series, I felt like I was meeting up with old friend with this books. There is enough references to the first book catch you up with the story so far and I do think this can be read as a standalone.

I loved the guests on the Chocolate course that Millie was running, and really go caught up in their situations as well as Millie's life. There is a bit of sight seeing on the island, and the local market sounded like a chefs dream!

This was a very enjoyable way to while a couple of hours and I am looking forward to the next book.

Thank you to Canelo and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily.

Be transported to the Caribbean! Perfect short read. The descriptions of the food and scenery make you feel like you are there. Millie is the hero of the hour rescuing wedding whilst tussling with her feelings for Zach. Prior to this book I had not read the first instalment but now I think I will have too. Be whisked away for some fun in the sun and indulge yourself with this fast paced entertaining story.

In the swirling chaos of culinary ambition, Millie Harper finds herself stepping into the shoes of a renowned celebrity chef, burdened by the weight of expectation as she strives to ensure that the inaugural classes at Paradise Cookery School become nothing short of extraordinary. Her foremost goal is to craft an unforgettable experience for bride-to-be Imogen and her entourage. Yet, amidst the clatter of pans and the fragrant spices, Millie grapples with her own fluttering heart in the presence of the dashing estate manager, Zach Barker. The magnetic attraction between them is undeniable, igniting a spark that threatens to light up her world—until the past intrudes with an unexpected visitor, casting a shadow over any budding romance. As calamity strikes and the wedding hangs in the balance, Millie realizes that she must summon every ounce of her creativity and determination to salvage both the event and her dreams. In this whirlwind of culinary trials and emotional turmoil, will Millie be able to conjure a day that fulfills every fantasy? And, amidst the chaos, will she find the courage to reveal her true feelings to Zach?

Some lines from this book -

Oh, well, you know, life gets in the way of our dreams sometimes. Maybe one day...

You know, we have to snatch every opportunity life tosses in our path because none of us know what might be waiting for us around the corner!

You know how sometimes you feel as though you've known someone for years, when something just sort of clicks?

Being happy and being professional were not mutually exclusive; in fact she would even go as far as to say that they were a perfect partnership.

Didn't I tell you that you'd have fun? And it's great to see the real Millie poking through that comfort blanket you're so determined to wrap yourself up in. You have to be prepared to squeeze the most out of every day, push your boundaries and grasp the world by the scruff of its neck. Otherwise we become stuck in a rut and who wants to live that kind of existence?

Thank you, Zach. That was the most amazing thing I've ever done. At this precise moment, I feel like I could do just about anything! Overcome any challenge that life throws in my direction. It was exactly what I needed.

All I'm saying is you can't go through life without taking a chance on love. I won't let you do that.

Life was better when there was someone special by your side.

Friendships are relationships. But in order for relationships to work we have to be prepared to let people into our hearts. It's the price we pay for a chance at happiness.

Sunshine and Secrets was my first Daisy James book and I enjoyed it so much that I couldn’t wait to slap on my factor 50 and head back to St Lucia for another instalment of the Paradise Cookery School. Although Confetti & Confusion is the second book in the series, it can definitely be read as a standalone as Daisy James makes sure to include superb colourful introductions to all of her fabulous characters. As I have read the first book, Sunshine and Secrets, I greeted these warm and friendly characters like old friends.

Confetti & Confusion picks up right where Sunshine and Secrets left off as the shiny new kitchen of the Paradise Cookery School opens for business. Amelia (Millie) Harper and St Lucian native, Ella, worked so hard to get the kitchen ready and now the fun can begin. The first customer is a bridal party, and while Imogen and the hens are cooking up chocolatey creations in the kitchen, Alex and the stags partake in some testosterone fuelled events like quad-biking. Anything can happen, and often does, with Mishap Millie around but luckily hunky estate manager Zach is around to pick Millie up when she falls (literally).

Millie’s feelings for Zach have become more intense in Confetti & Confusion and every day she spends with him mends her broken heart a little more. Millie’s stay on the island is only temporary and she is adamant that she doesn’t want a holiday romance but maybe Zach doesn’t either, only Millie is too insecure to find out. As they spend more time together it is clear to the reader, if not to Millie, that Zach has feelings for her too but just when you think ‘the moment’ is approaching, Zach’s ex appears on the scene. Millie retreats at the speed of light when it appears that Zach is back with Chloe and my heart sank for her but sometimes appearances can be deceptive.

When a fire in the hotel kitchen destroys the wedding cake and the wedding planner is nowhere to be found, Millie is determined to make sure that Imogen and Alex’s dream wedding goes as planned. Well I say dream wedding, but it’s more Imogen’s mum’s dream wedding as Imogen and Alex would have been happy to get married at home in their local parish church. As more things go wrong for the couple it looks like someone is out to sabotage their wedding…but why?

Although I would have liked a bit more scheming and intrigue around the mystery of the wedding sabotage, this unexpected addition does manage to add more depth and drama to the story and sets Confetti & Confusion apart from a twee hearts and flowers chick-lit book. It’s testament to the way that Daisy James writes a book so full of heart without leaving an overly saccharine taste in your mouth and that’s no easy feat when there are delicious recipes being described so beautifully that I could almost smell the chocolate! Thankfully, Millie's story is far from over so I can't wait to jet off to St Lucia again soon.

Confetti & Confusion is a mouth-watering, sunny delight; definitely a book to pack in your suitcase for your summer holiday this year!

I chose to read an ARC and this is my honest and unbiased opinion.

Millie is in charge of the Paradise Cookery School. St. Lucia is her home for the time being and Millie loves working on a tropical island. There’s a lot of pressure to make the project succeed though. She’s stepping in for a famous chef and this is their one chance to make the business work, so Millie has to be at the top of her game. Millie is a Michelin-starred chef, but after a broken heart she had to start over and being at the Paradise Cookery School is the break she needs. Will her stay on St. Lucia give her her happiness back?

Millie’s taking care of a wedding party together with a talented local cook. They are teaching a group of women to prepare all kinds of delicious dishes with chocolate. Love is in the air, also for Millie, as she enjoys spending time with Zach, the property’s estate manager. However, not everything is going according to plan and this puts both Millie and the bride and her special day at risk. Can Millie save the day and give everyone the perfect time she wants them to have?

Confetti & Confusion is a wonderful festive story. It was fun to read about Millie, the star of Sunshine & Secrets, again. She’s a quirky and gifted chef and her creations made my mouth water. She also has a good head on her shoulders and she’s amazing in a crisis, Millie keeps solving problems and I admired her quick thinking. She’s a woman with a lovely personality and big heart. Millie’s doing everything she can to make others happy, but she deserves a great time herself as well and I couldn’t turn the pages quickly enough to find out if she’d find the joy, friendship and love she deserves.

Daisy James has a fabulous heartwarming writing style. St. Lucia is a perfect setting for a feelgood story and I loved the way she makes the island and its inhabitants come to life. I enjoyed the vibrant setting and atmosphere in combination with a little suspense and plenty of intrigues. Confetti & Confusions is a fantastic fun story that put a big smile on my face. I loved the sunny vibe and enjoyed every single page of this wonderful book.

Millie and Ella are back running their Caribbean cookery school for Claudia as she still recovers. Set over a week, with a bridal party this time.

This time they set to work helping Imogen and Alex get their wedding dream despite the bride's mum not approving of their ideal wedding back home though when she finds old flame Brad here, she takes a back seat thankfully for the bride to be!

The cookery duo have to help create cake pops and a new wedding cake from the cookery school after the wedding party's original ones get destroyed and then their wedding planner goes missing adding to the worries they needn't have.

We catch up on the what was bidding romance between Millie and Zach as they go on a treetop course alike to Go Ape though his ex Chloe turns up later and suddenly, Millie sees she can't be engaged as she spots the pair and her heart breaks, but is all that meets the eye?

An exciting drama filled week back in the cookery school we can dream of and it didn't disappoint. We caught up on all the previous events and where they progressed to now as well as developing Millie into the next chapter of her life in her career. There's love and revenge plots in this book which covered the thrilling action. As well as the wedding party providing many laughs in their making and baking. It was a gorgeous tale to dream yourself in to and pretend you're also there in the Caribbean with them.

Many thanks to the publishers for allowing me to review this book for them!

Having read the first in this series of books I was eager to get my hands on the second instalment and all I can say is that it did not disappoint.

Familiar characters are back and the question on my lips was would a certain relationship turn into more than just stolen moments?

If you haven't read the first story, you can easily jump straight in with this one although I do recommend reading Sunshine & Secrets as it is such an enjoyable tale.

This and example of the perfect mix of love, friendship and humour.

An ideal summer holiday book, get packing in it in your suitcase now!

I was excited to see the second installment of the Paradise Cookery School series after thoroughly enjoying the first one. The second book was just as light and fun as the first. The food, the setting, the romance, everything was perfect for reading to pass the time on my flight to my honeymoon in paradise.

The follow up to Sunshine and Secrets sees Millie face even more mishaps (not all of her own making) with the wonderful Ella by her side...

A lovely cast of characters which allowed me to enjoy the story and revisit my (two) holidays to St Lucia. Beautiful scenery, an easy camaraderie and a few frolics made for a light, easy read.

It’s probably best to read this as part of the series as the characters make more sense that way.

An enjoyable read 3.75*

So, Confetti and Confusion is the second book in the Paradise Cookery School series, following immediately on from the events in Sunshine and Secrets (a book I have also reviewed - see here).

If you have read my review of the first novel in this series you will know just how much I loved the setting of the Paradise Cookery School.  It is set within a luscious cocoa plantation in St Lucia, a Caribbean island known for its vibrance.  I am a big fan of novels set in beautiful locations (its helps me add to my ever increasing list of places to visit), and this novel was no exception.  I loved learning more about St Lucia, loosing myself amongst the cocoa trees, experiencing the daily deluge of rain that disappears as quickly as it appears - it really does set the scene, and provide a wonderful backdrop for Millie Harper's experiences in the Paradise Cookery School.

This takes us neatly onto the characters within the novel.  We return to Millie Harper, the lovely Ella Johnson and of course, Zach Barker.  In addition, we have a range of new characters - the first attendees of Claudia Croft's prestigious cookery course in her newest venue in St Lucia; Imogen, the bride to be, attends with the female members of her bridal party in the week preceding her luxurious St Lucian nuptials.

As we learned in Sunshine and Secrets, Millie Harper has a habit of finding trouble (or trouble finding her!), and it is no exception in the latest instalment in this series.  With a cookery course to unexpectedly provide, a wedding that suffers unexpected setbacks and a bride to keep happy, Millie finds herself pushed to her limits, both professionally and emotionally.  Throw into the mix the dashing Zach Barker and we have a novel full of twists and turns!

I really enjoyed this novel, and it couldn't have been published at a better time.  It is a perfect beach read, and if you don't find yourself on a beach this summer, you'll at least be able to imagine yourself on the stunning island of St Lucia.  I definitely recommend this novel - it's light, fun and you get to revisit old friends at the Paradise Cookery School as well and making new ones.  I'm already looking forward to the next instalment, Mistletoe and Mystery, out later this year!

Confetti and Confusion is the second book in Daisy James’ Paradise Cookery School series, in this book we see Millie Harper all set to stand in for missing chef Camilla and deliver the school’s debut class Chocolate and Confetti to Imogen and her wedding party as they prepare for her big day. When things start to go wrong with Imogen’s wedding plans its Millie to the rescue, but can she fix her blossoming relationship with estate manager Zach after his ex-girlfriend comes back and makes it clear she wants him back.
This is a quick summery read which will have you longing for some chocolate or to be in St. Lucia (or in my case both) as the book is filled with beautiful descriptions of both, the Confetti and Chocolate course is my idea of heaven. Throw in handsome Zach and you have to perfect set-up.
Once again Millie finds herself surrounded by mishaps and mayhem as the wedding plans start to go wrong. While I enjoyed the storyline, I felt this plotline was all a little too predictable and lacked the little bit of mystery which the previous book had.
This is the perfect story for a holiday read, it’s a fun and quick read with some likable characters set in a gorgeous location. I’m eager to read the next instalment to see where Millie ends up, so hurry up September when Mistletoe and Mystery is out.

If you can't afford the Caribbean this Summer, this book is the next best thing. Full of sunshine, warmth, vividly depicted scenery with a tumultuous romance and a mystery too this will keep you happy wherever you're reading it.

The second in 'The Paradise Cookery School'series, 'Confetti and Confusion' reads well as a standalone too but I did wish I read the first in the series 'Sunshine and Secrets'. Millie agrees to run an exclusive cookery course for a bride to be and her entourage. She's in need of something to lift her spirits and loves cooking, so this is the opportunity she can't turn down. Strongly attracted to Zach the acting estate manager, she wonders if she can risk her heart again.

The setting is sublime and well described, especially through the food on offer. Millie is a lovely character and her friend, and colleague Ella is a warm and giving person who helps Millie step out of her self-imposed shell.

The plot is written in the style of a 'Death in Paradise' story by without the murder. It gives a flavour of Caribbean life, without being overly descriptive and the characters are likeable and relatable. The ending gives Millie hope for the future, and now I can't wait for the Christmas book.

I received a copy of this book from Canelo via NetGalley in return for an honest review.

This novella (only 160 pages!) is a light-hearted and amusing little read. But the thing I wish I'd known before I picked this book is it's the middle of a trilogy of novellas. So it's like watching your favorite romantic comedy 30 minutes after it started and not watching the last 30 minutes, you miss out on the build-up and the happy-ever-after! - just frustrating and for me at least not in a good way.

This novella features Imogen the bride-to-be is certainly having an unforgettable experience but for all the wrong reasons, join the laughing-crying-chocolate extravaganza to see if they can overcome all the mishaps or is it destined to be the worst wedding ever? But it revolves around Millie and Zach's increasingly undeniable chemistry will they finally hook-up or is it like Imogen's wedding doomed... We'll have to wait and see, installment three is out around Christmastime.

Thanks to Netgalley and Canelo for sending me this in exchange for an open and honest review.

I loved going back to the Caribbean to see what Millie was up to now. She's a thoroughly likeable heroine, who can think on her feet and adapt to any given situation. She may lack the organisation of some but can react to events. This makes her the saviour of several situations in this book. The setting on St Lucia is beautifully conjured up, full of sounds, scents and colour and you can really visualise the idyllic scenes.

There are lots of familiar faces to reacquaint with in this second novel and some lovely new ones as well through the wedding party who have signed up for the inaugural cookery course. There is some real humour to enjoy and I found it so easy to read- the words flew by and I read it in one sitting. I am looking forward to the next in the series, Mistletoe and Memories which is due out in September 2018.

In short: Sunshine soaked romance in the beautiful Caribbean.

Thanks to the publisher for a copy of the book

So I'm back in St Lucia for the second Paradise Cookery School experience.

Confetti And Confusion picks up right where the first book in the series Sunshine And Secrets left off, but if you haven't read it, don't worry as there are plenty of references, to get you up to speed.

Millie Harper is heading up the first of the cookery courses, with the help of local expert and now firm friend Ella, and they are hosting a group of ladies, prior to bride to be Imogen's wedding to fiance Alex in a week's time.

Millie is trying to play down her feelings for estate manager Zach Barker, but this and the cookery courses aren't the only problem, as it seems, that the wedding may not go ahead at all, when disaster strikes.

Millie has to step in at the very last minute, can she and her band of wonderful new friends, create the perfect wedding reception, and let Zach know exactly how she feels about him.

I received this book from NetGalley in return for an honest review.

I went into this book not knowing anything about it the story or the author. I was quite underwhelmed with the story. I think the author was going for a sweet, subtle romance with a tinge of mystery on the side. For me, nothing about it worked. According to the book description, the book has 160 pages and it felt like it went on forever. I feel like there maybe too many angles working with way too many characters and lack of character development. I think adding to the plot to make it stronger and reducing unneeded characters would be the way to go.

If you enjoy light romances with lots of fluff, you will enjoy this book. There was just no strong plot line here.

The cover is adorable and I really wanted to enjoy reading it as much as looking at it.

Another wonderful light enjoyable read. The continuation story of Millie, a Cordon Bleu trained chef who just finished putting the final touches on the kitchen for the new Paradise Cookery School, on a cocoa plantation on the island of St. Lucia. The school being the newest investment adventure by famous chef and author Claudia Croft. Still recuperating from a fall, Claudia asks Millie to stay on to teach the first workshop. Millie takes on the challenge of the workshop for a small hen party, while the men enjoy adventures on this paradise location. The wedding to take place at the local resort Sunday. The adventures begin. Again as mentioned on my review of the first book of this series ‘Sunshine and Secrets’ the only suggestion I have would be is a few easy recipes. Every woman loves chocolate.

I found that it took a couple chapters to get interested but after that the book was a real page turner! Millie Harper was enjoying her time teaching at The Paradise Cooking School in the Caribbean such a beautiful place why wouldn’t she! She is such a clumsy, messy person when cooking at the school. She gets off on the wrong foot with Zach Harper the grounds keeper. As time goes by they develop a friendship then it turns into love! They both had bad breakups but in time they are smitten with each other. Millie is set to leave to go back home when she is asked to extend her stay! At a wedding at the school Millie and Zach reunite after a chain of events, and dance the night away! A book worth reading, Daisy’s books are all a good read, check them out!

Sometimes in life you want to curl up with a book that takes you on a gorgeous sun-filled journey filled with warmth, heart and charm. This is were Daisy James new mini series fits in perfectly as she whisks you away to a tropical paradise in St Lucia were the enticing aromas of the local produce and cuisine is almost as intoxicating as the stunning vistas around the island.
I adored book one, Sunshine & Secrets, you can find my review here. Confetti & Confusion takes us back to St Lucia and to Millie who's temporarily working for celeb Chef Claudia at her Paradise Cooking School. This story starts us off at the beginning of a hen week filled with culinary cocoa inspired delights for the bride-to-be and her entourage. However, there's a mystery surrounding the wedding planner and when carefully planned details are at risk Millie and her new friends come to the rescue for the wedding party of the year on the island.
Amongst the mishaps and mayhem leading up to the wedding Millie's friendship with Zach is blooming but also her date for leaving the island and going back home to London is getting more imminent. Will Millie open her heart to a tropical romance?
Another gorgeous romantic instalment from Daisy James that brings a smile to your face and a beat to your heart. I was disappointed to reach the end as I want to know what lies ahead for Millie and for Zach. It looks like I don't have to wait too long as a third instalment of The Paradise Cookery School is due out in September, yay!

I enjoyed the previous novel, Sunshine and secrets, and wondered how this one could possibly follow it. However, I'm pleased to say it is just as enjoyable if not more so. The food that is produced has such a chocolatey Caribbean feel that I am immediately transported there and craved a rum punch in accompaniment. There is much mayhem and confusion in this book and of course, we see how the relationship between Millie and Zach develops. When his ex-girlfriend returns to the scene, however, things are sure to be put on the back burner. Is there hope for the two of them? Read the book and find out.
