Rate this book
Former high school sweethearts, Sienna Miller and Jashad Allen learn the hard way that love doesn't always stand the test of time. When Jashad serves a federal prison term, their once lustful "situation-ship," develops into something more meaningful. That is until Sienna quickly shattered Jashad's heart by engaging in another relationship.

Years after Jashad's release, the two reconnect via social media and Sienna begins longing to rekindle their former romance of yesteryear. Jashad is now a changed man; a reformed drug dealer turned community activist, who pulls at Sienna's heartstrings. Nevertheless, when tragedy strikes, unforeseen circumstances force Jashad and Sienna to reunite when they least expected.

As the two embark on a new journey together, Sienna learns that love's second chance may be more than what she bargained for.

Okay

I’ve read this author before and liked the previous book but this one left a lot to be desired. I guess I just didn’t understand the point of this particular story and the title threw me off even more. I guess I would’ve like to know more about Jashad. The ending also could’ve contained more...it was like found out a secret, a few vague paragraphs then the end. I would definitely read another book by this author and hope the next story is more of my taste.

Spousal Privilege

Sienna & Jashad could've been so much more if he wasn't a selfish womanizer. I do believe that he loved her as best he could but with him knowing how easy it was to get her back he used it to his advantage. In the beginning it was puppy love but once she got older she knew better. Like the old saying goes, the heart wants what it wants & hers definitely wanted him. I would love a book on her & Quentin to see how things work out. He seemed to be an upstanding guy. Meeka was a complete fool! Culver was a spiteful manipulative little idget that used her position to get to them. Even though married, she was still hung up on him. That's why she made sure of the wedding gift.

I loved it!!!

Very good read!!! I have to say this is the best one that I have read so far! High school lovers who love was tested through out their lifetime trying to find their way back.. Jashad really disappointed me, I thought that he would change but.... Smh..

Ouch!!

Jashad was a jerk but unfortunately I could see early on that he didn't love Sienna the way she loved him. Often times we feel that we can change someone's feelings if we just love them hard enough. We only end up heartbroken and disappointed.

Wooooooooooow!!!

That was not how I expected that story to end. I really thought that Jashad and Sienna were going to make it. I hate that he was the selfish womanizer that he was because he missed out on a good woman. She really loved him but he couldn't get pass her leaving him while he was in prison to be with another man. The sad part is that he wasn't faithful to her because he was sleeping with a guard. At least they could remain friends to raise their daughter together and I hope that things work out for Sienna and Quentin.

Really!!!

The fact that it was the same shooter. Ballistics could have match the bullets and Jashad wouldn’t have went through that bullshit. Then a make shift ass wedding build you up like something’s going to really happen and nothing.

Sometimes the love that conquers all, has to be the love from within. Sienna was willing to risk it all, but ultimately, had to love herself enough to let go.
