This book was for a psychology course called "Social Psychology". There are in total 13 chapters with an additional three chapters of readings where social psychology is used in practice. In the book social psychology is defined as " the scientific study of the way in which people's thoughts, feels, and behaviours are influenced by the real or imagined presence of other people". It discusses the different research methods used in social psychology including: correlational methods, experimental method, and observational method. The book covers topics including: prejudice, aggression, prosocial behaviour, attraction, group processes, conformity, attitudes, justifying our actions, the self, social perception and social cognition.
I would recommend this textbook for people interested in learning more about social psychology.
