This is a the second standalone in the Dragon Dreams series. It can be read alone, but is best enjoyed after reading Dragon Protector.

Thanks for stopping by! I loves to weave tales of Alpha Shifters and the woman they love...or is it crave? ; ) I love all things fantasy and paranormal - if you haven't noticed! I am clearly a hopeless romantic too! What a coincidence! When I is not writing I am loving on her pet menagerie of cats and dogs - as well as on her very own Alpha : ) ...Our little gang splits our time between the mountains and the city in the far west... I hope my stories bring a smile, a laugh...as well as some steam to your day. And above all I hope they help you keep the feel of "possibility" alive in your heart...cause all things are possible...at least I like to think so! Enjoy
This was a story I could not put down I am going to go back and read the first book in this series I found the book to be well-written with danger, drama, suspense. Two people trying their best to do the right thing.
This is the story of Darian and Tess. She doesn't really know what she is, just that her memories seem to be contained within some strangely painted rocks, housed at the base of a tree ... ?! While she is trying to figure out the sparsely furnished cabin in the woods of Maine, she meets Darian and his son, Ethan.
Darian is a dragon shifter that shamed himself, his dragon, and his Flight when he disobeyed a direct order to report to his Alpha. Instead he consulted a witch-hare, grabbed his son, and bought a small cabin so far off the trail that it didn't have running water or a TV, much to the chagrin of his young son. He knew that were potentially in danger and needed to hide from any of their enemies that could use Ethan against him.
Then he meets Tess and that night they seemed to have shared the same dream. Now how was he going to protect his son and his mate, when his Dragon was bound and would probably kill him if he could find a way to release him.
I am going to stop there so I don't accidentally provide any spoilers.
“Dragon Aflame” is a wonderfully entertaining book with complex characters and an intriguing story. This shifter story is quite different from the usual and in a good way. Darian Morland a dragon shifter and single dad has refused a direct order from his leader and then suppressed his dragon with magic. Tess Everlyn doesn't know who or what she is because she has hidden her memories in rocks. When Darian and Tess meet there is a undeniable attraction between the two. Will Darian and Tess join in the fight against evil? Can love overcome the insurmountable obstacles? Leela and Tabitha have given us a superbly written book with drama, intense action, suspense, passion, steamy sex and of course romance. If you're looking for an excellent plot that will keep you at the edge of your seat, “Dragon Aflame” is for you. Don't miss out. One-click this must read.
This is a intriguing, entertaining book and I found it a pleasure to read. This book is about: a man/dragon shifter (Darian) who is on the run, after abandoning his duties and only cares about his young son. He meets a young woman (Tess) who is haunted by mistakes and a dark past. Fate has brought these two people together and has plans for them. What you will find in this book is: Shifters, witches, drama, intrigue, suspense, twists & turns, enemies, magic, evil, hidden memories, adventure, action, deceit, betrayal, danger, mates, lust, passion, love and steamy scenes. The characters are well-developed and entwine well with each other with regards to the situation they find themselves in and react with fears, doubts, needs and desires. The story-line is well-thought out and written. I would recommend this book.
Deserting his post to take care of his son he pays a witch to subdue his dragon then he meets Tess, Darien is being chased by enemy's Tess is wanting out so hides her past in stones and hides the stones. They meet a passion neither expected, she needs to help him unlock his power to become a dragon again. It is then she finds out she is the daughter of a dragon slayer so she tries to put some distance between them until she is in danger and it's his turn to help, it's hot its passion its fiery a fun read recommend to lovers of dragon shifters
I very much enjoyed this story! It pulled me in from the first page, and kept me hooked because I *HAD* to find out what happened next! It was much better than a lot I've read lately, which was much appreciated. The pace was reactive to the plot and storyline, it was detailed enough to come alive, but not enough to make the story unwieldy, and the story itself was interesting, unique, and entertaining! Very well done, and thank you for the opportunity to review this gem!
Dragon Aflame is book two in the series Dragon Dreams by authors Leela Ash & Tabitha St. George. Ok so now we are getting to the grittiness of this series and it’s awesome!! Magical creatures-dragons- bears- rats(ugh)- worms(ick) and so much more. Mysteries are afloat waiting to be solved!! Enjoy!!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Unable to leave a decent review as only recieved a preview of minimal chapter
Unfortunately, although the work showed great promise, it was merely a teaser preview, not the full work I'd expected. So I can only say id gotten caught up in what looked to be a very interesting story.
Couldn't finish it. Which is pretty much unheard of for me unless the book is extremely terrible. The first book was merely "okay" but this one was more of the same. Predictably boring with lackluster characters I had a hard time getting invested in.
Really a shame, as the storyline seemed pretty unique.
I want to give this series 5 stars thus far, but between grammatical errors, and rushed scenes, it just doesnt quite make the cut for me. Otherwise, I really enjoy the world created by Ash and St. George and their variety of characters. I feel like if the books were longer, they would be exceptional.
So much goodness in such a short story! Two souls with damaged souls find healing and completion within each other. If they accept it. And if the looming war doesn’t tear them apart. An excellent read!
Well this story wasn't as good as the first story. I just couldn't connect with the characters. Don't get me wrong it was still an enjoyable story I just didn't like it. I like more character development. Even though we knew their back stories I still didn't know them.
I liked the books but it didn't make me feel that I had to finish the book without stopping or that it was the most important event of my day. It was a book to read that's about the best I can say. It was in my library so I read it.
The adage "two is better than one" is true, which Darian and Tess prove. All Darian and Tess need do is believe and share their, what they consider, dark past. The two of them together can, and do, conquer their enemies.
Hard to put down. We got a glimpse of characters from book 1 and a new crop of villains to boo. Good tension between the main characters. Both are damaged but together they complete and compliment each other. I can’t wait for the next story.
A fitting second story in the series. It follows Dragon Protector, which was also a great book. I can recommend it to anyone that likes Dragon stories.
