Almost Lover is a prequel to Lauren’s Part-Time Lover novel. I actually read this as the prequel and then again as the first four chapters in Part-Time Lover. I just somehow missed reviewing it so doing that now.
I have read this three times now and each time is so much fun! She wanted a wild last day on vacation. He wanted to shock some tourist with his yoga. Naked. It’s a great beginning for this couple!
The book actually isn’t offered as a separate book any longer. So pick up Part-Time Lover!!!
Quotes:
“My favorite part of the buffet is dessert,” I say, as my eyes gobble him up.
“What can I say? I have a head for strategy and a body for sin.” He sneers. “I think my breakfast came back up.”
this was a cute little prequel, i've already read wanderlust but decided to read this while waiting on part time lover from the library. it was cute, but not a whole lot happens. which i should have known, having read wanderlust. duh.
This is unnecessary prior to reading the main book since it was basically the first four chapters. But it was quite charming and entertaining all the same.
