Sea Dragons Trilogy #3

Dragon Prophecy

Rate this book
From humble beginnings, a heroine will be forged in fire.

Forced to retreat from the Army of the Dead with her remaining force of Raiders and their dragons, Lila begins to despair that her people will ever be anything but a ragtag band. Even wielding the fabled crown of Roskilde, she cannot unite the Raiders—it seems she is not the one to fulfill Danu’s cherished prophecy.

But Danu isn’t giving up yet. Though he suspects the evil Havick has obtained an ancient book that will allow him unspeakable power, help may come from an unlikely source: the Dragon Riders of Torvald. These brave warriors could be their last chance to defeat the evil of Lars and Havick—but they are also the Raiders’ sworn enemies. Now, Lila, Danu, Crux, and their friends have no choice but to make a perilous journey into hostile territory to seek allies against the darkness threatening to consume them all. To save her friends, Lila must become the legendary leader she was born to be.

Ava Richardson writes epic page-turning Young Adult Fantasy books. She creates lovable characters and drops them into intricate worlds that are barely contained within your eReader. Ava has written 21 YA dragon fantasy series, including her bestselling series Return of the Darkening and her recent series, Destia's Dragon Shifter War.

She grew up on a steady diet of fantasy and science fiction books handed down from her two big brothers – and despite being dog-eared and missing pages, she loved escaping into the magical worlds that those authors created. Her favorites were the ones about dragons; where they’d swoop, dive and soar through the skies of these enchanted lands.

I received this novel from net galley and the publisher. Thank you!
This novel was a good conclusion to the series. I liked how the author included Saffron and Bower in the novel, joining Lila and Danu on their journey to stop the army of the dead. However, they must overcome various trials to save the islands and the other kingdoms. Lila has a fear of using the sea crown, after seeing what it did to her uncle. Danu needs to get control over his magic before it destroys him. Crux is impacted by the use of Danu's magic and needs healing. Lila is concerned about the prophecy and does not think she can unite the Raiders. Lila and Danu try to stop the army of the dead, along with the witch, Ohotto, and the Darkening that is spreading throughout. However, they realize they need help from Saffron and Bower. The rulers of Torvald agree to help Lila and Danu, knowing from their own previous battles with magic. The dragons also come to assist them, angry at the evil witches who stole their young and artifacts to use for their magic. When they realize the Havick has joined Lars, the Captain of the dead, they need to use a book of evil magic to stop them or kill Havick. Lila needs to become a leader in order to save those she cares about or else the Darkening will spread and the dead will destroy everything.

This was book 3 and it didn't disappoint. A lot going on in this one. The author creates such great characters in her stories.
Lila is having a difficult time trying to get her people to unite as Dragon Riders. Too many of them are set in their ways. After the death of her father, most don't see her as a ruler. On top of that she has an army of undead to defeat. Theyseem to be multiplying a,d getting stronger. Crux had also been injured during various battles with them and Danu has been struggling with his magic. He had become dangerous at times. Lila had managed to get the crown of Roskilde but it didn't seem to be helping. They also believed that Enrick had managed to get an ancient book that will grant him unspeakable evil powers. They have no choice now. They have to go to Torvalid and seek help from their dragon riders. With her home burned to the ground as well as many of the surrounding islands she knew she would have to stop Enrick no matter what.
Such a great series.

This is the third book in the sea dragons series. You would find reading the previous books in the series helpful with the characters. The army of the dead seems unstoppable. Lila and Danu must connect there magic with the Dragons to stop her Uncle Havick. Can the book of Enlil from Torvald be the key. This is a good series for people who like to see dragons and humans join and sail the airs of their world. I was given an ARC of this book by Netgalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

It'sTrue

Ava and her genius come through . In here you see the the story come to its ending .Dani ,Lila, and Crud find their destiny . Though she loses most of her family , she completes her task offering the islands, and ending the Darkening. A entirely new chapter has begun for them, but without a queen.

This is the last book from the trilogy. I really struggled with this one and took me a while to finish it.
Th story is not bad just took too long to develope.

A fast interesting read. I probably won't go back and read any series already published, but I am interesting in seeing this author grow and will most likely be reading more from this author in the future.

Although I missed the second in the trilogy it certainly did not spoil my enjoyment of the book.
The characters were engaging and the story just rolled along.

Dragon Prophecy

The third book in the trilogy is a wonderful ending to the series. Lila and Danu meet some of the characters from the prior series who help them fight the army of the dead and save the Western Archipelago. Peace ensues.

Dragon Prophecy

This finish was good. I learned more of what dragons can do with magic. That Danu learned to control his mage power. Trust the light and Dragons

wonderful read

This was a very good ending, as always I wish it would’ve been longer but I know it just can’t go on and on and on. Or can it? Haha! Intense until the end!
