Damn! Rebel in a Suit was a steamy read! I enjoyed it from start to finish! Max and Claire are one hot couple!

This was an extremely quick read and I am to say that each book from Alex Wolf keeps getting better and better.
Maxwell "Max" Bass has been burned before and he has no intention on letting it happen again. He takes what he wants, when he wants and does not do relationships. Or does he?
All that is about to change though, when Claire Black, his best friend’s sister, saunters in to his office as Max’s new assistant. He knows she is off limits but he also knows he has to have her.
Throw in that he likes kink in his relationship and he is convinced she would run for the hills, or would she?
Max is a total alpha male, dominant and demanding and Claire is attracted to him immediately; the chemistry between them sizzles

Okay, so right off the bat you need to know that
the h is a Virgin.
I am not a fan of 'V' stories and if i had known, I would not have read this and would have saved myself a lot of grief from reading this book.
Also, there is a menage written in between the H/h and another woman (which by the way just happens out of the blue without the H even asking her if she'd be into it). Again, had I known beforehand, I would not have read this.
This is by far the worst book of the series, even though there were a couple of things I did like about it, mostly it was almost a dnf for me. As this is a male author, he might not realize that when a virgin loses her virginity, SEX IS NOT PLEASURABLE for her! At least not the first couple of times. The fact that the H basically bangs her the second day she's at his work is ridiculous, but not as eye roll inducing as when the h fingers fucks herself on the H's bed her first day of work!
Seriously, this is not a romance novel no matter how much Mr. Wolf has tried to spin this. This is just about sex. There isn't any real chemistry with this couple and the brother Jax took their relationship a little too easily when he was finally told.
I just found this story lacking in so many ways and I've decided that this author just isn't for me. The way he writes his misogynistic alphas, his weak-ass (usually virginal, or celibate so long they might as well be virgin) heroines, and his ridiculous plots that move at lightning speed with no believability, well, life's too short to waste my time with authors that continually disappoint me.

Just when I thought Alex Wolf can’t top his previous work we’re presented with Rebel in a Suit. I’ve been dying for Max’s story and it he been worth the wait for sure, this man is one sexy alpha male that will always leave you satisfied. Claire has way more layers to then she wants to show but when they’re pealed back watch out because this woman is smokin’. We’re given an edge of your seat, non stop squirming romance that has a prefect pace from beginning until the end. Phenomenal read and highly suggest you one click and bump to the top of your TBR list. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.

in a good way, wowza ...this was not expected??!! all of these men in this series are sort of bad boyish ...but this one is real bad ... well u make the decision. i am most new to this author and have read each of these books from this series ...so this was a nice surprise to see he was totally different ... still feel book 1 was my most fave ...but what a surprise ... check it out! great cover. must read. ( :

Another 5 star book from Alex Wolf. I am in love with this series, it has great couple, hot sex and an alpha male, the makings of a perfect book. If you haven't read this series you are missing some great books

Are you up for a quickie? What about a hot lawyer to boil you brain with its dominance? How about a threesome? Well, if yes, you have come to the right place.
To be honest with you, I have missed reading the last three installments of Mr Wolf's series which in turn made me unfamiliar with the other mentioned characters; the one whose stories have already being revealed. However, what I haven't missed is the fact that Mr Wolf has once again surpassed himself and delivers steamy hot erotica like a pro. Yes, when it comes to read a sex scene I want it to be raw and hot, details which he succeeded to deliver to a T. Those parts are a five X rated stars if you ask me.
Now, there is not much to add to the story than what the synopsis already describes. Don't want to spoil the story more. The storyline is about a well-known attorney, Maxwell, who oozes confidence, power and money and his new employee, who happens to be his best friend sister, Claire. The theme is quite the same, a palpable attraction between the two while they are trying to stay away from one another, only connected in a professional level. A possessive boss to his very independent yet curious secretary. The pull between them is so powerful that when their bodies finally collide it create a hedonistic haze around them. The one completes the other in a very intimate way and their HEA is what's next for them.
Although I enjoyed reading the story, I can't surpass the fact that Rebel in a Suit is just like the other smut stories, nothing more nothing less. By now, I would expect something more attention grabbing than only an explicit content. Even though, the mentioned content is appealing to my tastes, I wish I could see the author dig into more emotional topics or deal with some important theme. The ending has that particular tell and I hope to read soon a narration related to this but being more elaborated. Till then I'm all about the smut...Until next time, enjoy your free time reading great books with the most unforgettable stories.

The last in the Cockiest Suits series and just as fabulous as the others. I can't decide which book I liked the most. It's a hard choice.
Maxwell & Claire's story was hot & sexy from the start. I loved the Alpha male in Maxwell and also his sweet and caring side.
The sexiness between those two was off the charts.
Alex has done it again and given us another amazing book that I just couldn't put down. I read it in one sitting ingnoring the whole house for Maxwell & Claire and it was definitely worth it.

I have been hooked on Alex Wolf's books since purchasing Devil in a Suit, but Rebel in a Suit is hands down my favourite in the Cockiest Suits series; this book had it all for me! Maxwell is a handsome, sexy, dominant alpha male with a sinfully dirty mouth; and will make you bed for it. Maxwell has very specific tastes that he doesn't share with even his closest friends, but when it comes to Claire, he can't control himself. But Claire if off limits in his world because she is the sweet, innocent sister of his best friend Jaxon and he has just asked Maxwell to hire her to be his new assistant.
Claire is recently single and in need of a job; she wants to be a writer but right now she needs money. Maxwell agrees to hire Claire thinking she won't last long in the position because he is very demanding and domineering. Hottest one of the series
Maxwell and Claire's story is my favorite of this series.
Maxwell is known for being pretty much a man whore. He doesn't do relationships, he doesn't do the LOVE thing. He has an extremely high sexual appetite and doesn't apologize for it.
He also hold some secrets. One is he's got the hots for his best friends sister. He knows the code, he knows she's off limits, he just doesn't know how long he can hold out.
Claire is an innocent and sweet young woman, determined not to ride her brothers coat tails and make somethi g of herself. She's broken up with her asshat of a boyfriend and is in search of a job. When her brother get her a job being his best friends assistant she's both happy and nervous. Max makes her nervous. She's incredibly attracted to him.
Upon realizing their attraction for each other they decide to give it a go. Max introduces Claire to his "best kept secret" he's afraid she won't understand and accept it. He hasn't felt this way about someone for a LONG time.
The question is will she accept ALL of him? Will they be able to over come the hurdles they face? Most importantly will her brother and the rest of his friends accept them or will it drive the firm apart?

Max and Claire just might be my favorite couple, because Max is clearly the kinkiest of these hot AF attorneys! Their story was so perfectly sweet...and filthy.
Max needs a new assistant--again--so his partner Jax recommends his sister, Claire. She's an aspiring writer, but she's looking for a job, and she's more than qualified. Trouble is, Max can't seem to keep his eyes off his new assistant, and when he makes a startling discovery about Claire...all bets are off.
Claire thinks Max is quite attractive and is somehow drawn to him, but she knows she can't do anything about it because Max is not only her boss, but her brother's best friend. Of course, common sense leaves the room, and Max and Claire heat things up! This is why we read this, right? I adored the vulnerability Max showed about himself. Claire had been through a bad breakup, and Max is exactly what she needs to get over that horrible ex of hers. What neither of them realize is that they're perfect for each other, and once they start to get to know each other and feelings start to appear--it scares the crap out of both of them. Until it doesn't.
I love the Cocky Suits and Cocky Suits Chicago series. Of course I read the Chicago series first, but it's all good. Alex is a great storyteller.

Another great read in this series!
Maxwell and Claire were oil and water but their attraction and chemistry was absolutely off the charts. Claire struggled to be the real her. Personal setbacks left her a bit timid to explore her real self. But a moment of weakness that is Maxwell sets her on a course of self satisfaction. And Maxwell with his preferred lifestyle wasn't ready for this beauty. He's definitely a dominant man, in all ways and in all locations. But he finds himself wondering if Claire might be his greatest conquest. What he once relished isn't what excited him like she does.
I enjoyed this couple and their story. It's wonderful to read that people explore their personal preferences and ignore judgemental prejudices. BRAVO! Claire is a great character and I loved her strength and open mindedness. Maxwell did get me a bit frustrated. He was a bit flaky at times. For such an alpha and dominant man, he allowed outside factors to control him a bit much. With that said, yes, a woman and love makes a man do stupid things lol.
Highly recommend giving this entire series a read!

REBEL IN A SUIT is #4 in Alex Wolf's Cockiest Suits Series, and unfortunately it's the last. Alex's writing has only gotten better with each book that he has written. I have to say that "Rebel" is definitely my favourite.
Maxwell "Max" Bass has no luck in keeping his assistants. His best friend and fellow business partner, Jax Black, suggests his sister Claire for the position. There is one condition though - Max must keep his hands to himself. From the minute Max sees Claire in his office he knows that that is going to be one condition that he will not be able to hold up.
I loved the relationship between Max and Claire. especially since Claire, being a natural submissive continually brought out the dominant side of Max. This was such a terrific story to read. plenty of laughs, hot sexy scenes and plenty of romance to keep you lost in the story.
I loved this book and the three previous ones. I look forward to seeing what Alex comes up with next.

I loved this book and the three previous ones. I look forward to seeing what Alex comes up with next.

Holy hot lawyer! Maxwell's story is fabulous! He is the last bachelor standing and had no plans on changing that. All of that goes out the window when he sees his new assistant. Jaxson's little sister looks totally different when she shows up for work as his assistant. Before he saw her he promised Jaxson that he would stay away from her, other than a work relationship. Now that he is working with Claire he can't help let his lizard brain take over. Their chemistry is off the charts, so when she heads to his condo to pick up some dry cleaning she ends up doing more than picking up clothes! She has no idea that Maxwell is watching her on his security cameras, nor does she (or his friends) know of his particular kind of kink he likes. One look at her on camera and he decides Claire will be his, and dam anyone from getting in his way. Their story is smoking hot, and yet is still a sweet love story. When things get dicey for Claire Maxwell steps in and proves to Jaxon, and to Claire that he truly loves her and will do whatever it takes to protect her and keep her happy. Once I started reading this I couldn't stop!!! I just loved it!

Max hires Jaxson little sister Claire as a favor to Jaxson. He knew it was mistake. Max walks in the office looking for a reason to fire her. When he goes in his office she standing in there ready to start the day. He tasks her to go his apartment and get his things to go to the cleaners. She sees his video camera and gets curious. Claire starts watching the video. She know she should turn it off but her body starts to betray her and she keeps watching it. Max watched her from his security and he was hooked. Claire brings something out n him that no other woman has since his ex-girlfriend was with his ex-bestfriend. As much as they want each other they have to tell her brother Jaxson about them. Jaxson warned Max to stay away her on her first day. Max tells her to get a dress he needs her to attend with him. Brian wants her back and gets rough. She runs to Max and not her brother bcs he has things going on with Jenna. She didn’t want to put more on his shoulders. Things get real with them but they still haven’t told Jaxson. Everyone suspects something is going on and place bets. Definitely a must read

Wow another fantastic read by Alex Wolf. Maxwell had been cheated on in the past by his then girlfriend and bestfriend which lead him to leave California and start a new life in Texas. He is jaded when it comes to relationships so now he just has sex and leaves no strings attached. That is until Jaxson his business partner and bestfriend friend asks him to let his sister be his personal assistant. He knows she is always going to her brother to get her out of trouble and he has enough going on without having to deal with her. Her first day on the job and instead of being late she is early and on top of everything that needs to be done. Lord have mercy he knows he is in trouble she is beautiful and he is drawn to her but she is his bestfriend sister! Claire just came out of a relationship and when she sees Maxwell she cant believe just how handsome he really is in person. I don't want to giveaway to much of what happens between them but let me just say woo-hoo smoking hot 🔥. You will need a cold drink or two while you read this steamy read.

I love this series and just when I think it can’t get any better Alex Wolf gives us Rebel in a Suit....
Max is a hot dominant dirty talker and he likes to push limits in all avenues of his life but the one thing he has always said he won’t do is mix business with pleasure but that as before he employed Claire as his assistant.
Claire is young and not only is she innocent she is Max’s best friends sister so even if she is the perfect submissive she should be off limits for many reasons......
This book has so much going for it, characters that have depth and sizzling chemistry, a plot that will keep you up n the edge of your seat and what can I say about the passion apart from its off the charts. What I love about this series is that every book is about a different man and even though these guys are friends they are all very different from their chosen careers to their characters. Max and Claire are smoking hot together. Their chemistry is damn near explosive. I love that Max found his other half. The half he didn’t know he was missing. In Max, Claire found who she truly was and what she desired.
This series keeps getting better and better! I’m sad that this is the last book, but at the same time excited for what Alex will release next. I love the way he writes these sexy, smoking hot, 100% pure alpha males. I also love that the women are not winy, pathetic, and downright annoying. They are each mature and strong in their own right. And even better, can bring these alpha men to their knees. These may be short books, but they are packed full of emotion, developed and well-written characters, and a complete beginning-middle-end stories that will not only have you falling in love with each character, but also needing an epic release! *wink wink*

Max is a man who was burned by his ex girlfriend and ex friend in the past. This has made him into a one night stand kind of man, no love for him. Claire is the sister of Jax who works with Max and is hired as Max's assistant. When Max meets her he is instantly attracted to her and his dominant side knows just what she needs. However Max is an evil dictator and Claire is sweet and innocent will they work together as a couple and can Max handle being a couple if he even wants to be a couple.
When I started the book I wasn't sure if I was going to like Max but he grew on me as the story went and I ended up loving him. Claire appeared to be innocent but there was more to discover about her throughout the book. If you are looking for a quick steamy read with a little kink and opposites attract then this book is for you. This is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.

Let me start off by saying that this series has been absolutely AMAZING & What an absolutely GREAT book this was!
The chemistry in this book is phenomenal!
I love the end the absolute most if I’m being honest.

The final story in this series of standalone romances with interconnecting characters. In Player in a Suit, we saw Jaxson organise his sister Claire to work for Maxwell. Claire is Maxwell's kryptonite, but Maxwell can't say anything to Jax without causing a fight. It is absolutely delicious to watch how Claire & Maxwell get together! I think this is my favourite of the bunch. Maxwell slowly guides a willing Claire along, until boom!

Ah, naive Claire, you've been claimed. I enjoyed her so much! These stories are all quick, hot, well-written reads. I've enjoyed them all.
