I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I joined the Air Force, and my career took me from coast to coast before depositing me in the St. Louis, Missouri area for several years. After a tour in Korea and a short return to the St. Louis area, I retired and moved to the greater Denver, Colorado metropolitan area.
I write speculative fiction, mostly science fiction and fantasy. My favorite writers over the years have been Robert E. Howard, Philip K. Dick, Roger Zelazny, and Michael Crichton.

Great ending of an excellent trilogy

Wrapped up nicely, enjoyable through and through. There were maybe a couple of confusing bits all in all, but nothing that left me without answers in the end. A+ in my opinion :-)

Stefan is 'retired', at least he likes to think so, but readers all know that that is never the case in stories!
Stefan is recruited for a job, but wants to use his own team, to do that he needs to locate and recruit them. Not an easy job, he hasn't been in touch for a while and doesn't know where any of them are! And he doesn't really know what his new employers actually want him to do.
After tracking his team, Stefan needs to persuade them to come on board with him. The money stakes are enormous and this should be their final hurrah before each of them retires. Can Stefan persuade his new employers to stump up the huge pay-out for the team?
PR Adams writes a really good story. This is the final one in the three part cyberpunk series. You definitely want to read all three, starting with 'Into Twilight (The Stefan Mendoza Trilogy Book 1)', then through 'Gone Dark (The Stefan Mendoza Trilogy Book 2)' and then this book 'End State (The Stefan Mendoza Trilogy Book 3)'.
"“Twelve million, and a quarter million per egghead after Marshall. And I want fifty thousand now. This mess has cost me a lot more than it should have.”"

I received an e-ARC of this novel in exchange for a fair and honest review.

End State P.R. Adams

The End of an Era.

An inspired ending to the Stefan Mendoza Trilogy, it doesn't disappoint. This is an action packed adventure from start to finish. Many questions are answered as old rivalries come to the fore once more. Stefan was a killer, now he wants to retire and live a life of peace with his friend Erica, but there is always someone who wants him dead. He made too many enemies and now they are coming to collect. He gets dragged back to his life of killing with the lure of big money, which could set him up for life. If he can stay alive? Or will the odds be too great this time around?
Adams writes with his usual skill and authority, hard hitting and straight to the point. He gets right down to the action and doesn't let up until the end which is I think one of the most appealing attributes of his style of writing. It's all the good stuff, with none of the fluff.
Recommended reading and foreshadows things to come in the Rimes Trilogy and ERF series. Don't miss it.

A strong end of the series. Stephan's retirement at the end of book 2 is short-lived, and he reunites his team for the final showdown with the people the agency that set him up. As with all of Adam's books, the characters and dialog is great, set in a believable, fast paced story. I loved the ending.

Adams Apples #3
Stefan Mendoza #3
I had the trilogy as a box set as e-book so I kept going to I completed it, but by jingo this loss one was tough to get through, not my cup of tea certainly, I can't see myself reentering the world of Mr Mendoza any time soon.
Ended up just a wee bit dull for this geezer.

Arnie does Bond

All the resources available, contacts all over the world, beautiful women and (a great deal of) violence. Entertaining and fun. One or two continuity errors, but a fun trilogy all the same.
Thank you.
