heartbreaking. i was a little girl when this happened so i dont remember but it was near my home town so as an adult now i cant imagine what it was like. absolutely horrible what happened to this poor girl.

A weird and fascinating case (a botched kidnapping ends in homicide), which quotes extensively from trial transcripts. Unfortunately, the testimony from many of the witnesses is similar, so by the end of the book I felt I had heard the story several times.
