3.5 stars. Generic mafia characters, a whole bunch of alphabet agencies, but some wisecracking banter and an annoying character turns to endearing in the blink of an eye. Open ending, setting up the next book/ adventure, very quick read, fyi lots of sexual tension noreal action on mc's.

Exciting walk on the dark side
📍 “She would not deliver justice upon him because she was not able to give his victims justice; she did not even believe that it was possible for them to get justice for the crimes he had committed against them. Justice was not what she could give them, but vengeance, that was something she could give his victims. Getting that required Ivan to know why he was going to die.”

An action-packed, entertaining story with interesting characters & riveting plot lines. The characters were very relatable & likeable along with the storyline that was well developed & enjoyably captivating. It was a very enjoyable read & hoping there will be a sequel Sonny & Kelly's story some day.
