Jaelle dons a Roman helmet left among her ex's things and is transferred to the Pict side of Hadrian's wall - flat on the ground and tripped over by a woad-painted warrior. He's being chased by Romans who caught him scouting their fort. She earns his trust by grabbing an injured Roman's sword and saving his life. He takes her to his broch, where she sees druids in their sacred grove imparting magical protection by painting the warriors with muscle-activated woad pictures. Also by Jane at the Renaissance FaireDruid MagicCeltic DruidsDruid DaggerDruid HistoryDruid DefeatRock Candy Rockstar RomanceRock Bottom Rockstar RomanceRock the Boat Rockstar RomanceAs Cherise Aliens 1: Raffle's NameDog Aliens 2: OreoDog Aliens 3: She Wolf NeyaHigh School Substitute Teacher's YOU CAN DO THIS!How I got Him to Marry 50 True StoriesMy Dog Understands English! 50 Dogs Obey Commands They Weren't Taught
Time of the Celts (Dunskey Castle, #4), my fifth read from author Jane Stain, an author I've wanted to read since I began acquiring her books back in 2017, I own 21 of them. Time of the Picts (Dunskey Castle, #5), my sixth read from author Jane Stain Time of the Druids: A Time Travel Romance (Dunskey Castle Book 6), my seventh read from author Jane Stain. I've committed to reading the Dunsky Castle series in its entirety. I look forward to the next book from her, Leif: A Time Travel Romance (Dunskey Castle Book 7), but what really got me going was narrator Andrew McDermott, I love his Irish brogue. “I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review." The gifting of this book did not affect my opinion of it. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).
Here we see Breth and Jaelle, along with Dierdre from previous books. I loved Jaelle’s story and how she kind of got back at her ex John. I also loved seeing Dierdre all grown up and traveling on her own. Great trio of stories and can’t wait to see what is next!
I could not abandon this book from being read it was so enjoyably filled with excitement on page after page. A great set of continuous books in this series. Highly recommended.
I love these novels. The fabulous plotting, the wonderful characters, the authentic setting, the romance, the mystery, all of it. I love it all. I can't wait to read the next set of books.
