Super Start
Loved, loved, loved it! Did I tell you I REALLY loved 'Becoming Super'? It was funny as hell. There were tense as well as tender moments. But my absolute Fav moment is:
"The bat out of hell, warrior princess thing she had going for her, was fucking sexy. I wish I could say that I was confident in her abilities. While she had come a long way, I still wasn’t sure if Sarah would be able to harness the power inside of her. She had 50/50 chance of saving the galaxy and destroying us all, and this was when the girl was sleeping."
That passage pretty much sums up our heroine, Sarah. And Chloe, while she is a bit more subtle, she is no less of a smart, funny and badass Super This was a super start to the Super Series.

This is two books in one. At first, I was not getting into this story at all. I had a hard time finding the chemistry and understanding of the Sarah and Axel story. But once the story started really going I got into it.
I enjoyed the second part a bit more. It seemed to have more depth. Chloe and Zach get off to a rocky start but find love for each other.
I didn't know if I would want to read more of these stories, but I know now I will. This is a good start to a new series.

Part 1
Sarah was at a bar, relaxing after a crappy week of drone work. Her job sucked, her boss sucked; let’s face it, her LIFE sucked. All Sarah wanted was to unwind, relax, have a little fun. She wasn’t planning on dying…. Or being kidnapped by aliens because of a mysterious, rare gene…
Axel wasn’t happy; he’d been matched with a HUMAN! A HUMAN! How was this POSSIBLE? He, Axel, one of the finest warriors of Zeron, had been matched with a HUMAN??? A frail, fragile, worthless HUMAN? So, WHAT if her hair was the color of moonbeams, and her breasts were topped with rosy nipples, and her slim hips and pert behind haunted his dreams and filled his mind? She’s still a HUMAN! A worthless HUMAN! Kind of feisty too. Although Sarah claimed to be a pacifist, she had no issues with punishing Axel every chance she got with the powers she developed once she had imprinted on Axel.
But Sarah wasn’t the only one that was gaining super powers; Axel was as well. And that’s a good thing, as the Stavainians were out to destroy Zeron, Earth and every other civilized planet in the galaxy. But first Axel and Sarah must learn to work together, not against each other.
After an attack on their ship, it’s imperative that they return to Zeron for repairs, but to get there, they will have to pass through Queen Neopia’s domain. Queen Neopia lets NOTHING and NO ONE leave without demanding payment of one form or another. When Queen Neopia demands a night with Axel as payment, Sarah goes nova…
Part 2
Chloe is resigned to her fate: she knows she has stage four colon cancer that has now spread throughout her entire body. All avenues of possible healing have been explored and all have failed. Death awaits her; it’s time to let go…. When Chloe awakens, she wonders at first if she’s hallucinating, dead, or in hell, because what awaits her is a sight beyond belief or comprehension. Once Chloe discovers the reason for her displacement, all bets are OFF…
Zach, ship’s captain and the son of the Commander, feels for Axel, being tied to a human for the rest of his life. Zach is feeling smug, because HE isn’t in Axel’s shoes…. Until he is. His human, Chloe, can’t even be BOTHERED to wake up and imprint on him. So instead of leaving Axel in Queen Neopia’s less than tender talons, Chloe is left in her place. Zach isn’t sure whether to be glad or insulted… Until Chloe is retrieved and gives Zach a tongue lashing he won’t soon forget! Cinders has won that honor once again for "Becoming Super;" so far, she has hit that Mark a few times with her Stellar work!! KUDOS once again Ms. Cinders!!
Wow! I Absolutely LOVE S. Cinders' writing. She's an amazing storyteller, no matter what she's writing. I daresay there's always a plethora of intriguing material that'll keep you coming back & reading & Rereading her books, especially "Becoming Super!" for years to come. It's definitely a must have, One-Click addition for your library.
I was gifted an ARC of "Becoming Super (Super Series Book 1)" by S. Cinders via Booksprout; I LOVE being on her insider's Team... & I especially love what she's doing with her stories, especially her fairytales. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, & I'm looking forward to the next Installment; therefore, I'm gladly recommending it based upon its own merits... I'm definitely going to be be looking for more, More, MORE of S. Cinders' work in the future. This series looks especially promising! Sarah woke aggravated over the beeping of what she thought was an alarm clock. Turns out she was wrong, it's some kind of medical monitoring machine she's hooked to with a tube down her throat. Finally getting her faculties she removes the tube and find out she on a planet named Zeron. WTF?? Oh and there's more good news. She supposedly has some kind of chromosome that will allow her to imprint with Axel and *poof* give her super powers to help keep peace in the galaxy. There's just one problem with that. Sarah is petite, Axel is huge. She's a passivist, he's a warrior. She's human, he's an alien to her. She has a foul mouth, he's more proper. What in the name of common sense is going on??
Chloe, thinking she had died from colon cancer woke up wearing strange clothing, longer hair, and to a room she'd never seen before. At first she thought she was in heaven with her parents, but when the blue woman started looking at her strangely, she realized she was in hell and the devil was a woman. Several days have passed where Chloe was determined to be broken and someone who claimed to be Zackary's mother arrived explaining Chloe was not in hell, she was being rescued and Zackary was a damned fool for leaving his imprinted pair on that planet. Think you've had a rough day?
In true S.Cinders style, we have multiple heroes and heroines that will take you on a journey of excitement, fear, love, hate, confidence and insecurity and tug at your emotions the entire way through the book. I have sighed, giggled, and shook my head at each one of them until I finished the book with a huge smile when she delivered the HEA I was so looking forward to.

This is my first book I've read from this author,,,, she is good, I like her writing,,,,
This book is about Sarah Carmichael,,,, she is from Shakopee Minnesota and she was at the bar on a night after a hell of a week at work,,, she was drinking and flirting with the bartender who was flirting with her,,,, thinking she might be taking him home after bar, after all, she deserved some fun,,,, well,,,, she wakes up in a strange place with strange people,,,, and to find out she is with the aliens,,,, she had actually died, or was close to dying by the bartender she thought so hot,,, the guy who is with her every step of this way, who she fights with constantly, who makes her blood boil is to be her partner, and she must imprint with him and together they will find their super power,,,,
His name is Axel and he cannot believe that he must imprint with this worthless human,,,, of all the people he could be paired with,,,, this thin and weak human,,,, will she ever get her act together,,,, ???

I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like this story, seemed a little different from her previous books.. but then the heat kicked in between the main characters and it was all good!
Basically the premise of this new world from S. Cinders is that the Zerons are looking to create "super"; women from a really small percentage of Earth women who, once paired with a compatible Zeron, can develop "super" powers. S. Cinders doesn't really explain how these human women got to be compatible though, so just go with the flow here... I actually really like Alex and Sarah; Sarah is a bit kick a$$ and very likable and Alex really isn't as bad as he seems, especially once we start to see his point of view. They become quite cute together...
I also really like how the first story goes right into the second one, setting up Zach's story with Chloe. Despite the rough start for their relationship (what with leaving Chloe to wake up far from Zach without a clue as to what's going on, etc), they do fall in love eventually despite Chloe's trust issues and Zach's assumptions... These are not super deep or highly complex relationships so if you are looking for some light reading these are a perfect set of stories for you. I know that I'm looking forward to reading the next books in this new world of S. Cinders and seeing who lands up with who and hopefully catching up with the original set of couples again.

This is two books in one.
Cinders has packaged two installments of the Becoming Super series here, with hints of future volumes. She did similar with the Witch queens of Oz. Both tales are full of passionate explicit sex, and plenty of action to develop their heroic warrior talents.
Little does Earth realize that it has been engaged in an experimental project to unlock the genes for super-powers in symbiotic pairs! Though few survive the retrieval process, they were about to die anyway, and those who make it have a chance at greater life and love.
Sarah is the first to make it. Waking from what she thinks is a massive hangover in a strange setting, the only relief is found in the touch of a glowering, hunky soldier's skin upon hers. When he acts like an asshat, lasers in her eyes inscribe 'asshat' into his forehead. That's never happened before! In remorse she soothes the wound with her hand and it heals up in no time. Axel of the Zeronian Space Force is her infuriating, sexy other half.
Then there's Chloe, dying of cancer and sick of life in the gutter. She wakes in what she believes to be hell, then starts dying again because her symbiotic mate has left to solve an uprising in the Omega sector. Captain Zach returns in time to return her to life, and it floods her with visions of the future, including theirs. But can she ever trust him enough to use her new powers?
Highly recommended and very exciting.

Becoming Super is a very interesting read!
What if you awake somewhere strange, with strange people around you?
Then you are told that you will have Superpowers and will be partnered with someone who obviously HATES YOU?
As you find yourself battling wits at every turn you never realize you are helplessly in love til it's to LATE!!!
SARAH
A dental hiegenist on Earth that was debating on a one night stand. Wakes up in a hospital bed or so she thinks. A doctor and a very tall brooding man are watching her. Then he grabs her hand.
And her life is never the same again
AXEL
He's a warrior of Zeron. Strong and fierce.
How is he to be imprinted with this frail waif of a HUMAN!!! He will do his duty but he doesn't have to like it. One touch of her hand and his world will never be the same AGAIN!!!
ZACK

This is one of the best Sci-Fi romances I have read in a long time and it comes with two wonderful interconnecting stories in it.
There is: human females, alien warriors, evil aliens, shapeshifters, radical groups, a strong-willed foulmouthed woman (Sarah), a not so trusting woman (Chloe), two arrogant alien warriors (Alex & Zackary), a strange planet (Zeron), various other planets, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, adventure, action, danger, enemies, traitors, humor, experimental projects, special chromosomes, intergalactic council, special abilities, confusion, profanity, defiance, hatred, training, prejudice, jealousy, verbal conflict, attraction, missions, spaceships, battles, spanking, lifemate markings, conflict, misunderstandings, abandoned, anger, lectures, memories, sadness, emotional wounds, nightmares, emotional feelings, imprinting bonds, laughter, love, lust, happiness and explicit steamy scenes.
The characters are unique &well-developed with a variety of traits and different sides to their personality.
The story-line and plot is excellent & well-thought out, it definitely keeps the reader’s attention.
I will admit that I thoroughly enjoyed reading this Sci-Fi romance and really would recommend this book to people who like to read this genre; I sincerely doubt that you would be disappointed in this book.

This an incredibly fun book to read. The characters were brassy, sassy, expressive and witty. Sarah and Chloe were women taken from earth just before they died. They were part of an imprint program designed to bring out super human abilities when paired with their alien mate. Axel is Sarah's lifemate and Chloe is Zach's lifemate. Axel and Zach are warriors for the Intergalactic Council that put the program together. This really is an entertaining read about the four of them. How they met, their impressions of each other, how they got along, what they learned from each other, how the women dealt with their new powers and their insane attraction for one another. The chemistry between the pairs was off the charts hot, hot, hot and very erotic. Normally I do not let small things like spelling, grammar and such take away from the overall enjoyment of the book. However, this book had so many glaring misspellings, missing words and there were many sentences written in the wrong tense. This is the first time it really did bother me. Sarah was at a bar getting drunk and trying to chat up a guy the next minute she wakes up on another planet called Zeron and hooked up to a machine. This big hulk of a guy is supposed to imprint on her so Axel puts his hands on her and imprints on her and now he is her partner and she is to be trained as a warrior for the intergalactic council. As soon as her powers come through and they sure did because Axel was the first one to get a taste of her powers. They are to fight the Stavainians another race of aliens that want to wipe everyone out just for existing. I had a real good chuckle with Sarah she’s a strong sassy stubborn woman and she’s a really good match for Axel. Hot sexy scenes a fantastic story a 5 plus ⭐️ read and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Sarah has been abducted by aliens that tell her that she is responsible for saving the universe. But first she must bond with one of them to activate her genes that will then give her super powers. she never thought that she would fall in love with her captor, but that is exactly what she does.
I really enjoyed reading this book and I loved Sarah as a character. I enjoyed reading about her and her quirks and idiosyncrasies and how she changed throughout the book. Sarah had to learn to be strong and independent when she had not needed to before. Sarah exemplifies what is meant when one says you must learn to be strong when there is no other choice.

Provided with a free ARC for an honest review. A delightful sci-fi romance with adorable characters and an interesting plot. The first part concerns Sarah, a human from Earth and Axel, a warrior from Zeron. They are the first participants in an experiment to unite couples from both planets to see if super talents develop. The second part involves Chloe and Zach. My favorite part is the dialogue. Cultural differences create some very funny sequences. Sarah has a very sassy mouth and Axel hardly knows how to take her. Chloe is a dirty street fighter and constantly amazes Zach. My only complaint is in the editing which is sadly lacking. Otherwise a very good story with the potential of becoming a great series.

This particular author continues to amaze me with every new book I read. She has dealt with so many and varied storylines in numerous “sub” genres of steamy romance, and done it well! She has the ability to develop characters deeply identifiable. This particular storyline concerns two broken humans that are genetically matched and imprinted to two alien alpha warriors. This imprinting results in the humans developing Super Powers. The results being that their powers exceed their alpha’s powers. Don’t pass this one up!

Wow! This was my first S. Cinders's book and I like her writing! This is the first book in the Super Series. This Sci-Fi Romance is very well written. The world building is great, entertaining and steamy. All the characters are very interesting. This book has two stories interconnected. I loved the story of Sarah and Axel and Chloe and Zach. Each couple had been matched by their DNA for a new project called paired imprinting. Women were from Earth and Men (Aliens) were from Zeron. This was a fun reading and I totally recommend it, if you like Sci-Fi/Aliens stories. I'm looking forward for more books from this author! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I received this book for an honest review. S. Cinders is a first time author for me and I can't wait to read more books by her. What a great sexy sci-fi romance about Sarah and Chloe who travel through space to imprint on two sexy space warriors Axel and Zackary , only to find out in doing so they develop Super Powers . Can they tame these two sexy arrogant men as well as save the galaxy? This book was funny, sexy and much more. Becoming Super is a must read. I highly recommend this book.

I have to give it to this author-I don't think it's easy writing about something so common in our world-superheros- with a fresh take. I love this book. It basically asks what happens when you mix getting super powers with a commoner that doesn't necessarily even want said powers. Add a dash of sexy brute, the need to fight, and enough steam to get the wrinkles out of a two day old suit. Fun story and I'm looking forward to more!

For the Earth girls selected, at the moment of their death, and paired to become Super, and a force for good in the Galaxy, life after death ain't easy. But it helps that their paired partners are hot as Hades and twice as sexy, if only they weren't total jerks as well. This book, which follows two of the human women on their journey, is a rollicking roller coaster of a ride! Hot sex, humor and hunky aliens, the perfect combination. Add to that danger and intrigue and oyu have s sensational way to spend an evening. I loved this book.

S. Cinders has a wonderfully varied imagination and I always enjoy going along for the ride. In Becoming Super very rare humans carry a recessive gene that allows them to gain superpowers when imprinted with an alien from Zeron. The imprinting program puts the Zeronian and human partners to work keeping peace for the Council. I wasn’t sure what to expect from this book. But any book from Cinders always blows me away and this one does too. Alien taking human females whose DNA carry one specific gene. A gene that can turn them into a super. But to become one they must imprint on a specific alien male. So how do you handle being with a male who took you from earth, but to leave would mean your death? Definitely a lot of tension in the story and definitely a lot of romance and steamy bedroom scenes. Can’t wait for more.

Becoming Super (Super Series Book 1) by S Cinders is a Sci-fi, Paranormal Romance. Four strangers from around the globe awakened that Saturday morning and realized that their lives changed forever. They have been abducted from their planet and now they're on their way to becoming Super. An enjoyable, sexy, well-written read with good story and plot with sizzling chemistry, love, and plenty of action. Once again S. Cinders has blown me away!! I loved this book. It has two love stories in one, what more could you ask for? Both tales have sizzling passionate chemistry, love, hate, and lots of action, The characters you will grow to love as much as I did, with a HEA in the end that will leave you with a smile. I absolutely recommend that you read it for yourself you won't be disappointed.

Ok, this one is seriously laugh out loud funny!! I was almost rolling in the aisles!! Very good storylines for both Sarah and Chloe and a good adventure story to boot! The premise is very good and I loved the characters - both in both parts were flawed and natural!

Oh man, I couldn’t put the book down! I even snuck in a page or two at my nieces bday party! I loved Sarah & Chloe’s characters, how strong, weak and vulnerable they are. A truly fantastic book & I will say, a must read! One that I most definitely will be reading again! Can’t wait for the next book in this series!!

This story is about two women on earth that wake up and find out that they are on an alien planet.That their chromosomes are special and mixed with two aliens make them have super powers! I don't really know what to say about this book without giving away spoilers. If you have read the blurb you have some idea what to expect. Whatever your expectations you will find this book to be interesting and original in its concept and delivery.
The characters dealt with in this book are very well drawn, and the story was very good, the writing style was smooth and easy to follow and I for one want to read more of this series
