Reading the inner thoughts of Dimitri made my life complete.

Andrea did a PHENOMENAL job writing these. I pray these can be published one day, how I would love to have hard copies of these. I truly enjoyed Andrea’s books (even more than Richelle’s!), and I’m so thankful she put the time and dedication into writing these. I was absolutely hooked and loved every page.

This book deserves so much more than just 5 stars. Hats off to the author for presenting Dimitri's story in such an impressive way. I LOVED this book! It was the best one in the series. Dimitri's struggles, his guilt and his gradual acceptance were beautifully portrayed. It also sheds light on what happens right after Rose gets shot. Another great thing about this book was the bonus scenes. (Dimitri's proposal scene, I'm talking to you!) Honestly, Gigi256 writes in such a way that I sometimes forget that these books are fan-fictions; they feel more like the real deal. With her beautiful writing and creativity, she might be the most amazing fan-fic writer out there!

This is a work in progress, Gigi256 is currently writing new chapters every week or two.
Her writing style is so exceptional and really brings Dimitri to life. His guilt, his love, his fears, his desires, goals for his life, and how he comes to terms with the guilt of the things he did while he was Strigoi (evil bloodsucking vampire-undead).
Gigi256 has written the entire VA six book series from Dimitri's POV and as I've read them Dimitri has grown and opened up, overcome much sorrow and guilt. We can't help but fall for him in our own way.
I think everyone should read this story and also her other writings.

I don’t even know where to start.. this book and the original 6book in the Rose point of view right now are on my top ten of books and that’s hard to get on my top 10 list because the one there are so amazing but both these books are well worth the 5 stars but after reading both I think it should have some sort of higher rating..
The only complaint I have on the fan-fiction site is, if you listen to it by audio it not great but it’s doable, and the app is not as user friendly as I would hope for but I found it by accident and I am so excited to explore the other writing on the site too.. felt like I found a secret garden of “what if the story ended like this” and makes me want to re-read my favorite books again and explore all the possibilities.
This book takes you up and down, it shows you so much what the power of true love and friendship can be and though out all odds if you want it bad enough then maybe you could have it if you put in ALL the work. These two started off in a pretty taboo situation and they get thought it in some crazy ways. Somethings are just absolutely meant to be.
I don’t even have the right words to do this justice and I really hope the original writer of Vampire Academy finds these 6 fan fiction books to be the greatest compliment to her own work. They both brought so many things in and there were times I did wish to know more and this side gave the more and often the more you didn’t even know you needed. I am sad for them both to have ended, I still want more.. I know there is a spin off but I don’t think there will be a fan fiction part to go with it.. that is sad because these were such a added blessing to an already amazing book series.
I hope this review makes someone really excited to read these books… happy reading 😃

Ich war sehr gespannt darauf zu sehen, wie Dimitri nach und nach aus der Welt der Schuldgefühle und Finsternis zurückkehrt. Zu schreiben, ohne dass es übereilt wirkt, wie er aus der Starre, nicht fähig anderes zu fühlen außer Schmerz und Schuld, heraus kommt und wieder nach und nach anfängt, sich anderen Gefühlen zu öffnen, stell ich mir sehr schwierig vor. Umso begeisterter war ich von der Umsetzung. Es hat sich so natürlich angefühlt. Wie hin und her gerissen von seiner Liebe und seiner Schuld er war, man konnte das förmlich spüren, es war mehr als nur, man liest darüber.
Auch in diesem Band haben wir wieder zusätzliche Szenen bekommen, die im Original so nicht vorkommen und auch dieses Mal kann man sich mehr als gut vorstellen, dass das Alles wirklich so geschehen ist.
Natürlich muss ich auch in dieser Rezension eine Zeile über Adrian und meine Liebe für ihn schreiben. Es schmerzt mich ihn leiden zusehen. Er ist so ein toller Charakter und auch wenn er ein paar Eigenheiten hat, er gibt alles für die, die er liebt. Sogar wenn es bedeutet, diese ziehen zu lassen.
Fazit zum Abschluss der Reihe:
EIN ABSOLUTER MUST-READ, WENN MAN EIN VAMPIRE ACADEMY FAN IST!

although it would had left many plot points untold I kinda preferred this book from Dimitri' pov.
overall thank you to this author and thank you TikTok for making me realise it exists! The interaction with Tasha was particularly interesting :)

This book--really the whole series from Dimitri's point of view--is such a gift! Each time I reread Vampire Academy, I can't help but wonder what Dimitri would be thinking in certain moments, especially in Last Sacrifice when he and Rose are on the run. This conclusion was absolutely perfect in every way and Andrea did such a fantastic job writing! I truly believe her interpretation of Dimitri aligns perfectly with Richelle Mead's writing. Great job, Andrea! I will definitely be rereading your series next time I begin my Vampire Academy reread.
