Basic manners fun lessons

The book is well organized and the lessons geared for preschool to second graders. It has very basic manners for homeschool or parents wanting to teach manners. Could be easily adapted for Brownies or Cub Scouts

As the leader of our Woodlands in Trail Life USA, I bought and used this book for us to teach “manners” for their Life Skills Branch. Trail Life has its own guide but it’s fun to introduce more detailed tasks.

We set up a table with all plates/silverware to teach table manners. We also led an activity where I showed my boys first impressions, the proper way to shake hands, the proper way to introduce yourself., etc. All of that came from this book!

The world will not like this, but I am teaching these young boys how to be men. This book was very useful for this. It also did a great job reaching different age levels as well.

Great read while my daughter is in her activities. I especially enjoyed the language and examples as it’s a perfect way to learn how to talk to my child and explain things to her. Although I was familiar with all of these etiquette concepts, I can’t exactly remember how I learned them. This book has a perfect layout of everyday examples and scenarios our kiddos face in their childhood and presents them in a gentle manner.
Definitely something to read to a child ages 5-7 and 8-11 can read themselves.
