UPDATE:
Kudos to the author. She is very talented, I can not deny.
Curiosity killed the cat.
I did not resist and I ended up reading to see how the author would lead the outcome of the story.
I confess that in real life it would be impossible to overcome everything these two did to each other.
He's cheating her publicly and she having sex with other men over the years. All very dirty in my opinion.
She was not without sex, which is already a bonus in the stories we are accustomed to reading. Which won my sympathy.
At least he suffered when he learned that she had sex with other men.
I love it when the cheater feels the taste of betrayal.
But I find everything very painful and irreversible. It would be best if they split up and maybe come back in the future. The wedding vows were thrown in the trash.
And his relationship with Luce ... I will not even go into it.
Everything ended up being overcome and their supposed love won.
I personally did not swallow it, but the author's writing is convincing and gives credence to the couple.
I killed my curiosity and said goodbye to the series.
These stories are not for me.
I'm sorry, this is a case of "it's me not you".

PS: I use the goodreads to have a record of my readings and not buy books that certainly will displease me or that I didn't like the previous ones in the series. As I have the habit of clicking on impulse I buy from time to time without remembering that was on my list of things to avoid.

Very disappointed
First, thank you Anne Mercier for giving us Falling Down and Blush. Loved the stories; however, Xander 2 is a bit of a let down. She wrote that she rewrote the epilogue from Xander 1 because it was too harsh, then wrote more than half of Xander 2 the same way. At the end of Xander 1, my heart bled for Tera. But in Xander 2 I began to dislike her. The couple showed no growth through the entire book. In fact, they spent very little time together in the actual story. We were robbed of the story that mattered...how they rebuilt their relationship after so much hardship and mistakes.
Then when Tera re-emerges, we are subjected to a summary of what we just read. Ugh!
And what about Xander? Are there two of them cuz the one we read about in all of the other books was not the one in this book. The happy go lucky, joking guy was not in this book. Again we were robbed of the Xander transformation from the horrific events of book 1 to the guy we met in the other books.

It's a good thing that the last quarter of the book saved the first three quarters. The last book, broke my heart, but for some reason the first part to this one pissed me off. Xander and Tera are married, made it through a terrible event, then seemed to implode in the aftermath. They didn't seem to want to be together, evidenced by both of them sleeping around...for years. I had issues with this. I mean how do you come back from something like this, especially when pictures of them with other people end up in the press.
So with my feelings about the first part color me surprised that I was ok with how things ended. I liked that Tera went to Casa Falling Down, how she talked to Xander and then to them all. That seemed to win over the group, a good thing as there were hard feelings. I found myself in tears when Tera went back to the alley, found the tears rolling down my face with Cage's words and Tera's gift to Cage.
All of that made the announcement at the concert great and a very long time coming!
So with my feelings about the first part color me surprised that I was ok with how things ended. I liked that Tera went to Casa Falling Down, how she talked to Xander and then to them all. That seemed to win over the group, a good thing as there were hard feelings. Ladies, have your tissues ready. I used quite a few. The emotions that this book brought on! Sadness! Happiness! ANGER!!!!!! Some parts just totally pissed me off at BOTH Tera and Xander! I wanted to throat punch both for their stupidity!!! Yes, I understand what Tera went through, well, not really, No! Body! could, unless they went through it…. but really! My heart just totally ripped for these two. The best part for me… the hospital scene, the tears were totally flowing…… Sorry ladies, no spoilers, or hints from me. OMG, then the concert in NYC!!!!! the tears. I could go on, and on, about parts that I LOOOOOOVED, but…. You definitely HAVE to read this phenomenal book!!!

Xander:part2, The Present
You will need to read Xander Part 1, The Past before you start part 2.
This book had my emotions up and down like a coaster. The perfect story for Xan and Tera. It explains so much. I laughed, I had tears. My heart was so full of happy for both of them. So worth the wait. I am so glad she didn’t rush and push herself because this story is perfect!
Anne has so many great lines and quotes my kindle is highlighted from beginning to end.
Heart melting, bring you to your knees, sniffling, amazing read. With an epic Epilogue!!!

Omg omg omg so much love for Tera and Xan my Man
Ok so I feel like I have waited for ever for this book. And you want to know something?....well it was amazing...it was everything I needed from Xander and Tera’s book. I love this group of characters so much. You get wrapped up in them, you feel for them, you cry for and with them, you laugh with them and you blush a lot because of them because you damn they are sexy. So Thank You Anne for this beautifully amazing world you created for us.
So for all the readers go get them all fall in love with the Falling Down Blush crew.

Holy feelings batman
All the feels, all throughout the book. So many answers, so many more questions. Not gonna lie, I wanted to skate so many of these characters at different points in the book, but as usual, Anne has a plan and it works so well. Truly in awe of this whole story! I CANT WAIT for the next installment for the rockstar family. . . . and I’m still waiting to see if maggie and trace get a book of their own, or even separate if they don’t stay together. who knows? All I know is, I’m not ready for this series to end ANY time soon.

I have waited for what feels like forever for this book but it was well worth the wait. It was the perfect conclusion to Xander and Tera’s emotional and heart-breaking story.
I devoured this book in one sitting and wasn’t putting it down for anyone. I liked part one of Xander’s story but I floved part two. I felt so many emotions whilst reading this book. The first half I found angsty and emotional but the second half had me cheesy grinning throughout. I liked that this story changed my feelings on Xander and the band for a while. My heart went out to Tera and I hurt with her. I understood her anger and why she was hurt with the people she called her family. Don’t get me wrong, I could tell that Xander, Jesse, Ben, Ethan and Kennedy loved Tera. Its just my eyes were opened to how selfish and self-absorbed they could be. I liked seeing Tera’s journey. I liked that she tried her hardest to get better. Yes she had down moments but she was a fighter even if she thought she wasn’t. What I didn’t expect was for part of me to really dislike Xander at times. I still loved him but he played the hurt card yet he failed to see why Tera did what he did, Instead of holding on, he rubbed his rockstar actions in her face. Obviously that all changed when the second half of the story. My love for him returned full force when he decided enough was enough and fought for the woman he loved. I love Tera and Xander as a couple. They were perfect for one another. One of my favourite moments was when Tera came for Xander. She fought her fears and turned up at Casa falling down to get her man.
I liked that we got Jesse’s point of view and Lucy’s. I liked that Jesse and the band opened their eyes to Tera’s hurt and how she felt by their actions. I still adore Lucy but I was a little irritated by her reaction to meeting Tera the first time. I understood why but I was a little disappointed in her. That being said, I liked that the girls opinions and attitudes changed towards Tera when they heard her and Xander’s story. I like that they soon bonded with her and the Elvis hunting scene was cute. Overall, I loved this book and it was well worth the wait. I cannot wait for more from Anne Mercier and I cannot wait to read this book again. There is so much more I want to say about this story but I don’t want to spoil this story for anyone yet to read it.

I read it 🤔🤔🤔🤔you know what they say.....

I think and this is my opinion.... the story line was charged ....too many people hated X and the author added some things.....like Tera was so traumatized brakes it off with X and then have a friend with benefits relationship with another guy then has few more one night stands 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
I think this was to excuse X behavior because people hated how he was.....
Then she comes back like nothing happened....and they all excepted it...WTF !!!!
I knew going it that I was going to hate it.... but this made it worse !!!!!
And then she is p.... ohhhh wow f.... happy little family who cares he is (was) fuck..... everything 😎
I have read many different books I can read all sorts and enjoy it but my ONE no no is no cheating !!!!! I have no understanding for it !!! And this to me makes it worse 🤢 she was brutally assulted and needed him ( maybe not sexually) but as a husband and a man !!! and what does he do leave her and Fu... everything ...

I just realized that this review was never published...ugh!!!!
So part 2 of Xander and Tera was amazing. We get more of Tera's point of view and what it took for her to get back to Xander and the love and struggle that she had to deal with and the pain of losing part of herself even after the attack and how she fought her way to come back to not only Xander but the guys in general because they are her her brothers. She did a lot of work and I know a lot of people won't be happy with some of the things that she did but you got to remember her and Xander we're on a break and when they finally came back to each other with Xander laying it all on the line and telling her how he felt and apologizing and her having a come-to-jesus with him and the guys they were able to salvage the core of who they were and why they were meant to be together. The guys realize their mistakes even though they're not the ones that were married to Tera they were her brothers and they let her down and her letting them know made them realize their life choices were not only their life choices. This book is amazing the emotions that you get from all of them including Lucy and the girls who knew nothing about Tera and you find that these women and these men they love so fiercely and they protect with everything they have it's a beautiful story about family but it gives our Xander his family... In my opinion Anne Mercier has knocked it out of the park with this book and I cannot wait for Linc and Ethan story
So part 2 of Xander and Tera was amazing. We get more of Tera's point of view and what it took for her to get back to Xander and the love and struggle that she had to deal with and the pain of losing part of herself even after the attack and how she fought her way to come back to not only Xander but the guys in general because they are her her brothers. She did a lot of work and I know a lot of people won't be happy with some of the things that she did but you got to remember her and Xander we're on a break and when they finally came back to each other with Xander laying it all on the line and telling her how he felt and apologizing and her having a come-to-jesus with him and the guys they were able to salvage the core of who they were and why they were meant to be together. The guys realize their mistakes even though they're not the ones that were married to Tera they were her brothers and they let her down and her letting them know made them realize their life choices were not only their life choices. This book is amazing the emotions that you get from all of them including Lucy and the girls who knew nothing about Tera and you find that these women and these men they love so fiercely and they protect with everything they have it's a beautiful story about family but it gives our Xander his family... In my opinion Anne Mercier has knocked it out of the park with this book and I cannot wait for Linc and Ethan story

Ladies, have your tissues ready. I used quite a few. The emotions that this book brought on! Sadness! Happiness! ANGER!!!!!! Some parts just totally pissed me off at BOTH Tera and Xander! I wanted to throat punch both for their stupidity!!! Yes, I understand what Tera went through, well, not really, No! Body! could, unless they went through it…. but really! My heart just totally ripped for these two. The best part for me… the hospital scene, the tears were totally flowing…… Sorry ladies, no spoilers, or hints from me. OMG, then the concert in NYC!!!!! the tears. I could go on, and on, about parts that I LOOOOOOVED, but…. You definitely HAVE to read this phenomenal book!!!

You could say I needed this book like the next breath.
Finishing book one I don't think I even had a good night's sleep with everything going around in my head.
Xander's story is finally told, and although I have followed this series it felt like a separate story until they all meet up with the rest of the band at the end.
This story could be read as a standalone, however, the last part in end chapters meeting up with the other guys and the things that are revealed to them about Xander and Tera' s relationship over the years and Xanders double life could leave you confused.
This is a good Rockstar series so I recommend reading it, plus if you use KU it's available.
I loved and hated the journey, this is one rollercoaster of emotions. I questioned the characters morals and integrity, I felt every high and low, I had lots of OMG and swoon moments. Anne Mercier really took me on one heck of a ride with Xander and Tera's story.
I have loved Xander throughout all of this series but now I think I love Tera just a little bit more.
I'm glad I read It, I'm glad I actually and finally got to see the real Xander behind the jokes and innuendos. The wait was worth it and I took on Anne's comments prior to reading about not judging the character's, it was hard not to do that but by not judging I left room for understanding.

Right now is about the time where I usually come up with an eloquent review about how much I adored this book and how much I love Xander and Tera and the rest of the rockstars, but I can’t do that. There are simply not words to write down that will describe just how very much my heart is smiling and singing right now. Xander and Tera are perfect. These rock stars are perfect. Happily ever after date real and true. If you don’t believe me pick up this series and read. True love, happiness, and the best group of friends and family someone can ask for.
I usually hate when I can’t come up with a better review then this. But not this time. Xander and Tera are special. I’ve known Xander has been special from the very beginning. I’ve had a soft spot for him since the beginning. These two are a force to be reckoned with, they never give up, and fight until the very end. I’d be honored to know Tera and be her friend. She is unbelievably amazing and strong. Their story is one I won’t soon forget and can’t wait to see more of while continuing this series! I leave you with this.... I've been waiting patiently for this book for over a year. And let me tell you this book was worth the wait. Its full of heart, emotion and a tearful journey. This isn't your typical rockstar book, it's packed full of emotion and I dare you not to cry. After the way book 1 ended, it was nice getting the backstory as to why Tera and Xander decided the fate of their relationship. Will this book frustrate you? Absolutley, but I will tell you it's worth the frustration. My heart was bursting with love and tears the entire time.
Once again Anne you've outdone yourself. I have to say that while Jace will be my favorite rockstar, this is MY absolute favorite book of yours by far! There's not enough words to describe how in love with this book I am and I'll be recommending this book to anyone who'll listen.

Intensely gripping story full of worry and angst, it held my attention throughout. At times I wanted to knock heads together, a lot of that being Tera. Despite her ordeal and as harrowing as it was why push away the person you love so deeply and then blame them if something goes wrong. I do feel she played on things just a bit and I felt so bad for Xander because no matter what his heart was with her, I felt someone should have told her how hard he wanted to be there for her and it wasn't his fault he couldn't be. The author did a great job of getting me wound up so tight I wanted to scream at the characters. Great story I loved it. I have read this series in box sets but reviewed individually as well, they are well worth reading and I cant wait for the next book to come out. There is a good flow and continuity going through the whole series and even though some books are really short it is still worth reading them.

OMG..............FANFECKINGTASTIC
I have to start by saying I love every single book in this series, but this book has stolen a piece of my heart. I have a soft spot for Xander since we first meet him, but he now has to share that spot with Tera.
This book is packed with all the things you want to know, about this Rockstar.
I have laughed, I have got frustrated and I have cried, along with the characters in the book. The emotions that they all feel, jump right of the page and hit you, a few knocked me for six.
Once I started to read, I was pulled right into the story and new start away that I wouldn't out it down to I had finished it.
Anne Mercier has pulled out all the stops when writing this book and I have to say IT WAS WELL WORTH WAITING FOR.
So worth more than the five stars I have rated it.
