Un poco demasiado corto. La historia tiene enganche y no aburre, no hay tiempo para ello, pero por otro lado no hay mucha trama como para que realmente sea interesante.

A little too short. The story is engaging and not boring, there is no time for it, but on the other hand, there is not much plot to make it really interesting.

"Hands Off" Could Use A Bit of Hands On Care, But It's Enjoyable Nonetheless!!!
Okay...
So the Story is Great, the S€X¥ Times... Mmmmm, Seriously Hot, Hot, HOT!
This book has Everything to be a Solid Short Story, & earn a 4 STAR Rating from ME!! But, sadly, it's lacking a good editor to clean up its Grammatical Errors & missing words. Many people don't mind errors, & for you, this Story is gonna make your day... For others, they just can't get around them, & for these people, this book may be frustrating.
For me, I could definitely figure out what the author meant, & the Story/HEAT carried it through enough for me to finish the book & enjoy the Characters' Tale; hence it's rating!!
Even though I already Owned Rachel Everly's "Hands Off," I agreed to review it as an ARC for her via Booksprout; I recommend this book to others based upon its own limited merits. All opinions expressed within this review are uniquely my own & freely given!

This is a very short read that is well worth your time. I thought the story endearing and there are some lines by the author that are simply brilliant. I love it when I find a new voice since I read so many books. This one has wonderful lines, like "My tongue peeled away from the roof of my mouth like regret and a shameful walk home." These types of descriptions are integrated through the story and when you find one, you sit back and say "darn, that's good."

The story is basically a "friends to lovers romance." I liked both of the characters and their internal struggles to have more than a friendship. There is graphic sex and it's hot. Really hot. The sex talk is some of the best I've read, with equal parts unrequited love realized and unspoken desires ignited.

I highly recommend this short story for erotic romance readers of "friends to lovers" stories. I'm going to keep my eye on this author.

A Beguiling Modern Romantic Novella.
Rachel Everly, author of Hands Off has written a delightful novella about two people, Scarlett and Henry, who have known each other forever but can't seem to let each other know how they feel about each other. Then one night the opportunity presents itself. How will they react? Will they retreat back to their respective corners or take a chance.
Recommendation: I love this little story. It may be short but it was well developed and presented. The characters were fully developed as well even though there wasn't a lot of time to get to know them, what was there was just enough.
I'm recommending this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment.

This is short entertaining best friends to lovers read. Even if short it is well written, characters are very likeable. I enjoy reading drama free stories where best friends became lovers. They are in love in each other for years but are to afraid to ruin their friendship because they are not being sure if the other side is feeling the same. After another brake up of Scarlet, Henry finally made up his mind that he won't allow his best friend and love of his life to go through another meaningless relationship. He is convinced this is the time when he finally makes a move. Will Scarlet reciprocate his feelings?

I absolutely loved this book! Henry has been in love with his best friend Scarlett for years. He is so tired of watching her with other men. He is always there for her when she has a bad date or she has a breakup. He lives in fear she will meet someone and fall in love. He has no idea she is in love with him too. After a night of drinking with his buddies, he shows up drunk at her apartment. What will Scarlett do when Henry makes a shocking confession? Does she share his feelings our has he ruined their friendship forever? Awesome friends to lovers romance and I cannot wait to read the next book!

An enjoyable very short story that is entertaining, steamy and includes a happy ending. This is a friends-to-lovers story that they had been best friends since thwy were infants. Henry and Scarlet loved one another but neither wanting to risk their friendship until the desire and chemistry couldn't be denied.

This is a cute, funny, steamy and quick read. Henry and Scarlet has been crushing on each other since the seventh grade. Being there for each other through good and bad times. Both afraid to take a chance on losing there friendship, until one drunken night. Ths is a must read.

A great short read

This is the first book of Rachel's I've read - but it certainly won't be the last when she writes like this! I really enjoyed this book, my only small critique would be it's too short - but I say this about all books I enjoy!

Cute but very very short

A quickie friends-to-lovers story with Henry and Scarlet, who had been beasties since they wore diapers. Loving one another afar but neither wanting to harm the friendship until o e night neither wanted to deny the desire that boiled for each of them. Needs a good deal of editing and grammar corrections. Should probably be in a collection of short stories.
