Etta Davis can shoot and ride as well as any man, thanks to lessons from her late father. If you love a strong lead female, then this adventure is FOR YOU!! Following Etta's adventure through the west is crazy and terrifying and so exciting all at the same time! Another great page turner from Jennifer Reinfried that's so terribly hard to put down - and once it's over you want to start reading it all over again (which I have totally done)! The twists and turns will keep you guessing and you'll be dying to know what Etta is going to do (or who she is going to shoot) next. Definitely worth checking out - repeatedly!

There were points during this book where I was so creeped out I almost had to put it down for a moment to recover. Jennifer Reinfried paints such a vivid picture of this universe and it’s inhabitants, putting the reader right in the story with Etta. With complex, flawed characters and danger all around, this one will definitely keep you reading nonstop.

I’ve always loved a good western, the rough characters and their sure-shot bravado. This book gave me that grit and swagger, but it also raised my pulse and rattled my senses! Jennifer Reinfried paced this tale masterfully, blending relatable characters and horrific circumstances seamlessly. I returned from a business trip this morning, exhausted and intending to read this book over the next week. It was so good I finished it in one day!

I highly recommend that you take care of all your basic needs before starting this one because once you've started, you won't be able to put it down! It's just that good! Etta is a fascinating character that will take you on an adventure with twists, turns, and tons of surprises. And, once it's over, you'll want to get right back in line for the ride all over again!

A fast paced Horror/Western that makes for a great mash-up. If you are a Jennifer Reinfried fan (I am), you might recognize some connections to her other work if you look closely (Man, I love easter eggs).
