Two award-winning poets in one book. Keith W. Sikora and L.A. Story pair up to put together a collection of poems filled with the best each poet has to offer. This book is filled with fantasy, romance, mysticism and magical realism. If you like your poetry brushed with magic and emotion, then you will find it here in the compiled work created by this powerful husband and wife writing team.
From light-hearted simple to deeper depths of cognition.
Wow! I’m not typically one to get wound around poetry. My fickle mind is too busy to benefit from the weight of the words. However, this husband and wife CO-author team found a way to draw me in from the first to the very last poem.
If you are a romantic who gazed upon the stars and the heavens and sees love projected across the infinite screen of the universe, then you will definitely appreciate Keith’s beautiful words, clearly inspired by his love for his wife. In many ways, for me, Keith has collected all the stars in the sky, put them in a bucket, and poured them at his wife’s feet. His work is beautiful! His dedication to his muse is a mirror of the kind of devotion most women crave. Just beautiful! I give his work 5 stars.
LA Story has a beautiful way of plunging you into the deep end of life reflections and she can do it with even a few simple words. Sometimes, she lets you see inside her thoughts so intimately, that you wonder if she read your mind. She puts common thoughts and feelings into a promenade of words with well orchestrated music. That reminds me, I don’t want to give away too much, because I love the way I felt the “plunge” when she speaks of a symphony and being a beautiful sight . . . Just read this work. It truly is incredible. I give her 5 stars, though I have to borrow them from her, seeing as how Keith took them all and gave them to her, already.
I know the two authors have an inside joke about whose poetry is better. I’d like to resolve this, right now. I can say with absolute confidence that the two are squarely matched.
Keith has the romance and the stars. His work makes me picture a daydreamer, perched upon a cliff at the Oceanside, morning and night - gazing across the waters by day, stealing the heavens by night. He has earned his own bragging rights. Very heartfelt and passionate.
LA Story has the plunging depth, most likened to an amusement park ride that takes you up and suddenly drops you. It is not a bit unpleasant. You reflect on those words and absorb the point. She is a very skilled writer and her emotions are splayed across a table - like a collection of fine gems. She trusts you with her soul, and because it is so familiar, you will protect it. She dance through various life events like a tiny ballerina across piano keys. Her work is a beautiful, musical dance to read - even when the ballerina stumbles a bit, as with poems such as Angst. She, like her husband, deserves bragging rights. Relatable and so real.
Great job to both of you. No need to be modest or humble. Keith, you’re right! She’s the best! LA, you’re right! Keith is the best. Now, we’re going to need more!
