I simply cannot wait for the next novella and the full length novels in this Lost Hearts Series. You said we needed to know each man's back story-how they ended up in that room with Caleb.

Really wish I hadnt paid for that.
ABRUPT ending first of all. The sample was terrible and I should have known from it to NOT click the Buy Button.
The idea was great. I love a broken soldier story as much as the next girl.
But the dialogue was clunky. The pacing was too fast and then slowed to nothing in the most random of places.
Nice attempt to set up future books with Lakia and Parker's friends being introduced but the rest of the book couldnt be saved.
What really bothers me outside of the crap pacing is the attempts throughout the whole book to make it out that Lakia is not a weak battered woman, even with literal references to that from the movie Enough with J.Lo. but even with sooo many attempts to have her be an "im a strong woman who can take care and defend herself" (and it was actually proven beforehand, the author still DamselInDistresses Lakia into getting into trouble and needing Parker to come and save her. So what was the point?
Good story elements ideas and plot points but they werent fleshed out and led nowhere.
This was supposed to be the start of Blue's GOOD writing? I gave this one a chance because Id heard this very thing. So even after reading some of her older stuff and being soo not interested, i still have it a try.

Enjoyed!
I enjoyed the storyline bcuz, so many soldiers come home with so many problems from war and needs that support system. I loved the relationship between Jake Isaac and Lakia. I also like how it touch on domestic violence bcuz not all the time theirs someone there to protect you.

My heart is happy
I loved this book there was a lot in this novella. I am happy there wasn't any of the normal back and forth that you get in a book. Parker I felt for him and understand his struggle. A lot of troops face the very true reality of coming home and dealing with very severe issues that are not physical in nature. With our the aid of loved ones to help. I faced it with my brother coming home after two tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Well back to the story Lakia was the perfect heroine for Parker she knew something wasn't quite right and if her son's father wasn't bring a brat whose toy was taken away I am sure she would have picked up on the issues right away. Isaac was a joy and so was her Lakias mother. This was a one click for me and I as with all her books I am never disappointed. I have a feeling we haven't heard the last of Parker or Lakia.

Enjoyable
Oh My! What a awesome story that I have really enjoyed. This is a must reads by this author. I'm a fan. It has strong and brave women. Men who fight for what they consider is theirs. And of course their steamy connections. There are interesting twists with so much humor in the story lines; which are fast paced, especially this story, but all of her stories are just as great and I'm happy that I enjoy binge reading this author. Each one of her books are intriguing with enjoyable plots ending in a cliffhanger. Although their sizzling hot passions will keep you turning pages until the end. I enjoyed every moment of this couple's relationship they are the ones that makes it so I can't put my reader down until I finished the story if you are like myself you will enjoy this story because this is definitely a excellent romance!!.

Broken Soldier is amazing ..5 stars!!!
Parker was drawn to Lakia and Issac before he even met them. And the feeling was mutual. Their chemistry was off the charts. Great plot and storyline. Issac was Lakia's 4 yr old son. Parker was Lakia's brother Myles, best friend. They were like brothers. Myles made Parker promise to lookout for his family if anything should happed to him. Myles died in combat and Parker was severely injured. But he got better and went to Texas to keep his promise...though he has some memory issues. It was on from there on out..Parker and Lakia are amazing. Get this book ...you'll love it😊💕

Incredibly Written!
An outstanding intricately woven well written book, that is a Blue Saffire trademark. Parker is a hero, whose loyal, protective, a total alpha male and he falls in love. Lakia is a strong independent woman that holds her own, that finds her soulmate. Their chemistry is palpable and their connection absolute. This book defines well the aftermath and different struggles some soldiers endure after serving, while working to build or rebuild their lives once they come home. Another page turner.. Well done Blue!

I Lost My Heart
I loved this Novella and truly anxiously awaiting the next in this series. Lam is is one of my favorite female characters and I love that she appears balanced and intelligent. Parker, in my, Love me some alpha males. He is all that and vulnerable st the same time. I love his loyalty.
Now we all wait for whether Myles truly is dead. I hope not, but if he isn't, then what drama will be bring with him on his return from the dead?
Blue Saffire has done it again. Man I wish I could get a peak into her brain.

Read this one over & over again as well
For a minute I was thinking Parker was Cameron son or him but the more I read I realize nope not him or child, but a relative none the less. This was over to quickly it was good, but just ended to soon. Lakia ex makes me think of my ex husband, mentally abusive but think we should get back together, (no thank you).
I have dated but my sure he never knew about, I think deep down I was scared for him to know. This story really have me thinking.

Excellent read
I love everyone book by this writer and this book is not different. I love how she does multiple series at the same time. These characters and the storyline were great. Normally I don't do novellas. The end just as you are relaxing into the story. I made an exception for Blue sapphire and I am glad I did . Look forward to the next book . This one was worth your time and your money . Phenomenal Read
I was sooooo not expecting this story line - it wasn't the Blue that I am used to but ooooooohhhhhhh it was worth it. Bought it this morning sitting in a drive thru and finished it after I got off work. I can't wait for the next installment. Keeping bringing that Super Blue that only you can do.

Great read
I've read almost all her books and though there are ones I've chosen not to read I am happy this is not one of them. I'm not sure how this edition connects to the previous installment, it is still a must read for the overall experience of the series. A Blue Saffire must read.

True Blue Magic
While this was a novella it definitely packed the same punch as full length! I feel like this is the Blue writing I fell in love with. Everything was clear I could visualize the scenes. The story while it had its poignant moments was still very much a happy make you sigh book. I recommend this one and cant wait for her next.

Like the series
Good story and recommended read but it needs editing. Several misspellings and once a character's eye color changed; despite these issues it was a good read. The story interwove serious issues with a wounded warrior and a crazy ex licensed to carry. Admired both the warrior and his spirited love interest. I welcome further stories about his fellow warriors.

This is the story of Lakia and Parker. Parker has lost his best friend. Lakia and her family soon find out that she's lost her brother. Parker decides to keep his promise he made to his best friend. This is a really wonderful story as always with Blue there's something great and interesting happening.

Nice read for Memorial Day weekend.
True love always wins!
I’m not one for too much drama, needless details that drag on unnecessarily, and not enough kink and smut in a book, but this was a feel good story not meant to be dirty, but loving. I’ve read just about all of Blue’s books and happy to have read this one as well.

Love the book. Love Parker who came through for his bestfriend. I am glad he stepped up for Lakia and Isaac and they finally got have there HEA. The only thing I was confused about is that they never found Myles body and I'm wandering is he still alive? Will he be poppin up in the future or something?

Short but...
Meaningful and to the point...A lot happened in this story and yet it didn't seem rushed or like it was moving too fast...and as always mz.Blue left no stone unturned but yet has me wondering if maybe just maybe we haven't seen or heard the last of Parker, Lakia or Myles.... Actively in love
This book was so moving. I enjoyed all the characters, especially Leah and Parker. I really felt a pull between them from the first time they met. I'm so happy that Parker was able to carry through with the promises he made to miles. Now that Toni character was crazy and the twist at the end told it all. this was a good book on to the next

Wonderful
Well Lady, you did it again!!!! Your characters are always a joy to read and Make & Lakia are just that, a joy. I wanted a more violent ending for "T" but that'll do. I don't need to ask about the other men in this book because I am sure I will be seeing them again😀.

Wow, just Wow!
So much went on in this novella. Life lost (or was it?) Love found. New life created. Bad guy taken out. It was just AWESOME. I cannot wait to get Jake Parker's full story.

I loved the instant chemistry between this two. They might not have met under the best conditions, but it was so worth it in the end. I so enjoyed this, and I can't wait to see if her last statement comes true!

Great read. They need a longer story. I need more. I need for Parker to get better. Please dnt take anything else from him. He lost so much in the war. I need for Myles to come home. I just need more. Pleasr dnt let this be the end. Loved loved loved this book.
Great read. They need a longer story. I need more. I need for Parker to get better. Please dnt take anything else from him. He lost so much in the war. I need for Myles to come home. I just need more. Pleasr dnt let this be the end. Loved loved loved this book.
