I was almost dreading reading this book because I loved Avalanche of Desire and Storm of Seduction so much and I didn't want to be let down. I don't know what I was thinking, silly me, because this is exactly the book I had hoped for. Bea's characters wound their way into my heart from the very beginning and will stay there. Her talent in weaving a tale, keeping up the tension, tugging at the heartstrings is growing with each book she writes. I love the Sisters of Hex series because paranormal and urban fantasy are my more usual fare but this contemporary series just captured my imagination even more, precisely because it is so real. Louisa, Hudson, Bryce and Max have all suffered because of their parents and in reality these days, very sadly, their situations are not uncommon. Although they all suffered different awful home lives, they all felt the same heartache and pain. The brothers and Louisa are now a real family and they have learnt to open up, trust their hearts and allow themselves to be happy, even though their insecurities keep surfacing. The strength of Louisa's love for her three men shines through in all the books, especially in this last one when she has to show them all how much they mean to her and how happy they have made her.
All through the book, the characters' words and actions are true to what we have learnt about them and they are so real to me, they could step out of the page and I wouldn't be surprised. In fact, I wish they would because most of all, I want to give them each a great big hug.
Other reviewers of the first two books have mentioned that they would like the series to be told in multiple POVs but I think Bea has got it absolutely spot on. Don't get me wrong, I love hearing the voices of the main protagonists in a book but this is emphatically Louisa's story and I think the book is all the more powerful with only Louisa's voice being heard. if Bea wrote it from the brothers' points of view as well, it would be a completely different series altogether. We learn all we need to know about the three men from their reactions to, and interactions with, Louisa, and also their actions in general throughout the books, such as employing their childhood friends.
As an aside, the book Louisa is reading on the plane is one of my favourite books so I know she enjoyed it! (Cheeky, Bea, but very clever!).
I cannot praise this series highly enough. Bea's writing is beautiful, her characterisation outstanding, each book, as I have said before, equally heartbreaking and heartwarming. I will read anything that Bea writes and I suggest you do so too. She is an author not to be missed.

Louisa has everything she never dreamed she could or would have. She has the love of three incredible men. She has put her past behind her and now feels secure and happy. To make it even more perfect her best friend, Nisha has found her own love with their friend, Cal. Now the six are taking a trip to paradise, a business trip to Thailand with plenty of tie for pleasure. The trip is full of fun, surprises, and sexy times but ends in tragedy. Everything that Louisa and her guys have between them is at risk. However, Louisa is not letting go without a fight.

Dawn of Love is the final installment in the Brothers Freed series. Bea Paige saved the best for last. It was scorching hot. It was touching. It was upsetting and nerve-wracking. Ultimately, it was satisfying. So we come to the end of Louisa's story. She started as a struggling-to-make-ends-meet Chalet girl and became Max's Icy, Bryce's sweetheart, and Hudson's butterfly. A forever love square. Perfect.

Brothers Freed series
Bea Paige

Avalance of Desire
Storm of Seduction
Dawn of Love

Note this novel series contains polyamorous, reverse harem, menage, and multiple partner themes so if you are not interested in reading these themes this isn’t the series for you. If you do then read on.

Avalance of Desire introduces Lousia to the Freed brothers (though they aren’t brothers through the blood) in Alpe d’Huez in the French Alps when she takes a job as a hostess for the resort. She gets the chance at the job when an ex-husband of her alcoholic mother helps her get the job. It seems a great chance to get out of England and away from her mother for the holidays and the pay is nice when you consider all she has to do is prepare two meals a day, get the shopping, and clean up after the three bachelors in residence in the chalet. She never expects the sparks between all three of them and the problem of her mother will fallow her all the way to France.

Storm of Seduction the brothers search for Lousia when she leaves them in France with no word after they poured out their hearts to her. Little do they know that she went back to bury her mother and now the sins of the mother have fallen on the daughter and she needs the brothers more than they could ever guess.

Dawn of Love will kill you when one of the brothers gets a head injury on vacation that disrupts his memory of Lousia and their life together. Lousia not only fears that she will have to leave the men she loves but the trouble that has been following her isn’t done with her. But sometimes a kick to the head helps.

Conclusion to the Brothers Freed series.

Louisa never thought she would find love.
Much less in the form of three men who consider themselves brothers.
But that is exactly what happened and it is everything she could have hoped for.
Getting closer to the guys isn't an issue any longer, but they still have much to learn about one another.
A vacation to Thailand is just the key to showing their love to one another and getting to know each other better.
But what happens when tragedy strikes?
And then yet another obstacle comes between them?
Will they get their happily-ever-after or will it all come crumbling down around them?

A great conclusion to the story.

I felt like all my lingering questions were answered.
I didn't have anything still plaguing my mind once it was finished.

I loved seeing the characters come together.
Especially after the tragedy hit.
It was painful to read, but how it was handled was beautiful.

A trigger warning is issued in the blurb, but I do want to say it again in this review.
If abuse, or violence, is a trigger for you, please do not read this book.
Or make sure to skip over the part.

I just feel this is a nice contemporary romance.
You want something with an insta-love feel and great intimate scenes, this book is for you.
While I'm not a huge fan of insta-love, I didn't feel this one was too bad.

I recommend the series.
I think it's fun and a quick read for everyone.

I'd give this book a five for the characters and a three for the plot/structure. This book structure confused me a little. The first half+ of the book of the more of a slice of life/RH journey. It very realistically focused on how four people who have never had this type of relationship before, were dealing with things that would pop up like each wanting some alone time with Louisa. Lots of steamy times that were focused more on the feelings then the description of the acts. More sharing about their pasts and healing.

Then during the trip to Thailand, around 66% in comes a huge twist that shakes up everything and totally changes the dynamics of the book. I was shocked that big of a twist came so late in what I thought was (and it is) the final novel. While in some ways I hated the twist, the bigger part of me was intrigued by it and hoped Bea would let it stick (or at least for longer) and tell a really interesting, unique story. Sadly, there wasn't enough book left for that and we had to have a swift and sudden resolution that tied up the other loose plot end that was dangling for most of the book.

Happily ever after occurs with one of my last favorite conventions, but at least makes sense for our characters, as feeling like they could avoid the mistakes of their parents is important growth for them.

OMG! What an end to a thrilling trilogy!! Louisa and her men are settling in to the relationship with ease and only a few niggling little issues! But a dream holiday ends causes devastation and heartache, will Louisa and her guys make it through the storm?

Well written and beautifully paced, this story, the last in the trilogy, will keep you glued to the page, I could not put it down, it’s a fabulous read but it’s a shame that it’s the end of the series

Get ready to grab tissues!! Louisa and her men get some happy times here, but there always has to be a balance. let's just say those bad times will shatter your heart and your vision will be blurry with tears. Vacation is meant to be fun and relaxing, until it isn't, and reality breaks up the euphoria. This final book was intense and knew exactly how to hit the feels.

This the 3rd and finally installment of the Freed brothers was a rollercoaster of emotions!! Bea Paige ripped my heart from my chest, played with it for a while, then put it back, like just kidding. We get to see how relationships between the brothers and Louisa can be tested. Just prepare for the feels, because you will have them in spades. Seriously a brilliant conclusion.

Absolutely amazing with heated moments. Suspense, drama, assault, love, laughter and sadness are here. Once I began reading, I couldn’t put it down. This author has outdone herself and I will read all of her books. Great job!

I wanna give four stars but I really didn’t like the way things ended...

HEA ? Yes, but the last Larry or the story didn’t play out very well to me....
Ok,the first I’d say 75% of the book played out beautifully and I really loved it Louisa and her guys had settled into a beautiful and harmonious life together and between Lou giving a snotty stuck up shop assistant her comeuppance and seeing Hudson with Beth ( she wasn’t ready to meet Louisa ) but she was there and it was a tender and touching moment ...
But as they go ff to Thailand 🇹🇭 you keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, hidden in all the sex and tropical beauty and tender moments you know like a shark hidden out in the water something is lurking out on the horizon.....
Dun a dun,da da daaaaaaaaa, or how ever the hell that goes ...
Anyway at around 75% or soo it finally hits,by now I was tense and anxious and ready to get it over with but....
What we’re hit with at 1st isn’t what you might be expecting and while it was kinda nice to be surprised, what we are hit with ( the kinda temporary loss of one of the guys)
( trying not to give anything away) is a bit much to give it all the depth and attention it needs in what’s basically by now the ever shrinking last quarter of the book....
It was great to see just how strong Louisa had grown and her depth of character was again beautiful to watch and behold as she once again had to fight for the love of her man but..
Yeah another but and lousy grammar I know if this was my book ,but I’m trying for emphasis here...
But when that other shoe 👞 I had been expecting finally drops and it drops pretty dang hard, just not as hard as I feared, but it was enough to have me skimming, was what we had to have to wrap up the thread but was more than my nerves could take... it wrapped up that thread and brought our temporarily “lost” H back to us and after a quick trip to the A&E as you say over there everyone is back together to have sex and reaffirm their connect together thru fade to black sex..
Now while I didn’t mind the fade I’d had enough sex by then what did bother me was all the true action and some very painful drama was ALL saved to the very last part of the book then when it’s barely and I do mean barely resolved and we go from fade to black sex to 6 months later in the epilogue...

What. The. Heck...
I read in dread for most of the waiting for the drama I know is going to come and then it doesn’t til the very end almost and we’ve barely get that sorted ,when Ta Da, baby in the belly and ring on the finger ...
The End ?

Why did I get drama but then I miss Lou getting that ring on her finger ? Or finding out about the baby and the best way to tell her guys ?

It’s almost ( not quite) but almost as bad as those quote “romances “ where you don’t really ever get to enjoy the H and h being a couple because either one or both fight it til the very end of the book then “ta da”. They do and it’s over..
Literally I’ve read books where the MC’s don’t really get together til the last chapter in the book ...
How the hell was that fun, we get to see them fighting the attraction but never giving truly in til it’s over..
Ok, you say but what if it’s a series and that’s just the first book ... ok you got me there , or fifth or sixth is your Mercy Thompson ( not a fave) ( but for other reasons )
But happened often in stand alones....
On the whole really good series , just personally I feel this would have been better as two books if not one , the first two really should have been one to me,book one regardless of all their back stories book one by its self has too many jagged edges to stand by itself and two it just felt wrong ( at least for me) to drop all that drama in the last quarter of the book ,barely resolve it and then jump straight to the HEA roundup and leave out parts I personally wanted to see..
Thank you Ms.Paige for the time away and the escape I just wish some things could have been different ...

*** 1 estrela ***

Definitely bittersweet, but Bea does an amazing job with ending the Brothers Freed series ❤️

I haven't had a book that had me feeling 6 different emotions within a 10-15 page span. This book made you happy, sad, angry, frustrated, hot...I mean the list could go on and on. For me, that is a sign of an amazing author and well written story!! I thought Bea did this series justice, and had it end in a way that would be satisfying but would still hope that more spinoffs or future books are written.

In this book Louisa and the brothers go on a vacation after all the stressful times they have had recently. Before they go on vacation, we get to learn more about the brothers and see their relationship blossom even more with Louisa (loved the work moments with Max, the shopping scene, and the orangery with Hudson!). When they get to Thailand, there is some stress/serious talks before a horrible event happens that threatens the harem. I have to say, the breaking down of Bryce had me balling like a little baby haha. We get to see finally why some of the characters act the way they do. We get to see them talk about the future and see some happiness for our beloved side characters. We also get to see Louisa remain steadfast and resilient in the face of a tough situation. She holds the relationships together, without her it would fall apart and everyone would be miserable.

I am super sad to see this series end; I fell in love with Louisa, Max, Bryce, and Hudson when they came into our lives in the Snow and Seduction Anthology last winter. I hope this series resonates with people and people show their love for it...maybe, just maybe, Bea will give us more stories when she has free time. I highly recommend you pick up this series, especially now that the trilogy is complete!! Be prepared to feel lots of things while reading this book ❤️😭😊😍😳

SPOILERS

So I read all 3 books in just a few hours. While I enjoyed the books and the story line, I felt like Bryce was the favored brother. He came first in everything... the sex scenes and walking in and joining when the others wanted a little alone time , the talks , and yes in the ending I guessed it right away she knew and felt that she was pregnant with Bryce's baby. Maybe I am a litte Biased I dont know because I liked Hudson so much. His pain and how he acted after Louise left really fit his pain and how he dealt with it, his vulnerability, I do love a tortured man.

For me I dont mind the jealousy, expecially if its a situation they never have been in before and when RH is not the norm. I actually liked the fact that the jealousy and wanted also to have alone time with Louisa came up, but nothing was really done about it no talking just only the little time they had in Thailand and still I wished that there was a little bit more of talking with each other instead only with Louisa , then what also bothered me was Beth, I would have liked to see some closure there.. Did Hudson finally introduce her to Louisa? because still Beth is a huge part of their lives even if he only sees her once a month. And last Nisha was a great addition only why was she not mentioned in book 1? Considering she was her best friend and relied on each other so much you would have thought she was mentioned in book 1.

Louisa and the Freed Brothers know that Smithy is out there, and still very much a threat. The relationship is on good ground and the foursome and Cal and Nisha take a holiday in Thailand. Things get rocky (literally) and all of a sudden the bonds of the relationship are on shaky ground. Is love enough to weather the storm? This is the conclusion of the Freed Brothers trilogy.

Oh my gosh, I was not ready for this to end. I just didn’t get enough. I need more or Louisa, Hudson, Max and Bryce! This book had my blood pumping at a few points, and had me on the edge of my seat. As a reader, it’s hard to feel satisfied because of course there’s always more that could be added. I wasn’t disappointed with the ending; I think the fact that Hudson shows up in other series helps me with that. I will say that I hope to see more of The Freed brothers and Louisa in maybe a novella later.

I love Bea’s writing, her characters are so relatable and I love how the story is so straightforward in this trilogy. The storyline is straightforward but still leaves room for you to guess what’s going to happen, the guessing just doesn’t last long. I will say that I think the writing gets stronger throughout all of the series that the author has written, and I am so excited to reread the Academy of Misfits series! This chronological order reading is so much fun!

I was sad at first because I knew this would be the end to the Brother Freed Trilogy and I loved the previous two book. And this didn't disappoint. This conclusion was fantastic. with Storm of Seduction and its ending we think that while they're getting into their relationship well, when truths and past hurts were revealed that things were looking rosy and while they had to figure out how to make their relationship balanced and fair for Louisa, Bryce, Max and Hudson things were going well. but that was not to be.while on holiday something awful happens. And Louisa will have to fight for her Brothers Freed. Can the love they and Louisa fought so hard for win the day? Can Louisa finally have the Happy Ever After she deserves?

Fair warning you will need tissues, and then you will want to throw said tissue box. but this was a great conclusion, will just be sad to see the end, hopefully we can still get little snippets of Louisa, Bryce Hudson and Max later down the track

*voluntarily and honestly reviewed the ARC I received from the author*

It's between a 3 and 4 for me. Their love story was seriously hot and interesting in the first book, and then the second one brought it home. This last installment seemed like that really good epilogue you want to get to, except its got that extreme drama tagged on. The synopsis made me really nervous because they all seemed so great, but as I read the thing, it was mainly hot delicious sex scenes and lovey-happily-ever-after moments. It wasn't until more than halfway through that the big incident really happened, and I personally thought that was a bit weird, but in the moment, I'd been crying because- well, who wouldn't cry at that bit? lol.

~3.5

The end of this series fell a bit flat for me.

1 - the scene with the sales clerk made absolutely no sense. It came out of nowhere, seemed out of character for Louisa, and had no impact.

2- Beth felt unused/unresolved. Given her importance in the first act, the fact she suddenly started speaking to Hudson, and that he thought introducing L wasn’t a good idea, it felt like she was being set up as OW drama. I’m *very* glad it wasn’t the case, but it felt sort of “left in.”

3- The pacing was off. It felt like we were rushed in and out of each conflict/story beat, with things being resolved too quickly.

Ultimately, I’m glad I read their series, but I’m also delighted Bea has given the brothers and Louisa some moments in the later books that make them feel a bit more well-rounded.

Holy shiitake mushrooms. This book. E.m.o.t.i.o.n.a.l rollercoaster. I mean, it was draining. This was my least favourite of the three, because the rollercoaster was a rough one for me. I can’t really say why, because spoilers. But, I sat there for a good chunk of the book reading with bated breath and trying to hide behind my hands (which is hard to do when reading), because I just needed to know it was all going to be okay. But it is all okay. Yay for the HEA! Because I don’t think I could have taken it after that ride. I might’ve thrown my Kindle and broken it. Fantastic series, if a little on the short size, but completely worth the purchase.

Still on my Bea Paige kick, and while I could tell that these books were some of her earliest work, the story was still engaging. Yes, the writing was a little naive in places and the character connection that I have loved in her later books was a bit sparse in the beginning, I was still entranced by the story.

Yes, it did all happen incredibly quickly and the turnabout in the men was from 0-100 in pages, but I still read all three in two days. I could say a little cheesy in places but to be honest, it didn't bother me at all. Another great heart warming story where broken doesn't mean permanently...you just need to meet the person...or persons.

Book 3 of 3.
Inter-connecting series 1 of 3 (currently complete)
Having met Hudson in another series I had to go back and read his story.
I'm glad I did as it was an enjoyable story, mostly sweet but there was moments of drama.
This is a relatively short series (for me only book 3 was on the cusp of not being a novella) so there isn't really much time to spend getting to know each guy, but I have to admit normally where it is hard for me to pick a favourite out of an RH this time Max caught my heart the most.
This is probably the earliest set series (I'm not 100% as I haven't read them all quite yet) tied-in to the world built it didn't have the same visceral impact on me as the aforementioned other series maybe because the author was still developing her style I don't know. Either way I would say if you start here make sure to read on.

Bittersweet ending to a fantastic trilogy of the Brothers Freed and Louisa. This book made me feel so much, especially in the last quarter of the book - happy, sad, angry, hopeful, anxious, tearful, joyous and let's not forget steamy.

The ending gave me the HEA, but again, I wish the book was longer. So much happened so quickly.

Probably, the best part of this trilogy for me was that the reverse harem was not perfect. These individuals had never done this before, and throughout the series the author shows how they must work through the logistics - jealousy rears it's head now and then, but the growth of the characters are shown as they work this all out.

“We might be unconventional, we might be far from the norm, but on this bright summer’s day we are a family and that is all that matters.” - Louisa
Soooo good. The conclusion of the Brothers Freed series closes this story in a beautiful and satisfying way. It was a little touch and go there for a while and I was literally hanging on the edge of my seat til I got the HEA I so badly wanted. Loving, erotic, action packed with exotic locales - this has just about everything a fan of romance and reverse harems could want. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the storyline and development over the trilogy. Occasionally it was difficult to tell how much time had really passedand that all of the event stook place within a 9 mth or so time frame. It was a quick romance for 3 brothers.
Life churning events in the final book as the concept of the relationship was challenged not as I have seen in other reverse harem books. It brought in a different perspective.
Certainly opportunity, as the author notes, for future options on another Max, Bryce, Hudson and Louisa story.

In this final book, Louisa and the brothers have cemented their relationship. Everything is going well, and they have settled into their own routines. On a vacation with her guys, tragedy strikes that threatens to ruin everything these four have worked for. Through preserverance and love they are able to overcome any obstacles set in their way.

I absolutely loved the final book in this series. I think Bea Paige did a wonderful job wrapping up this story.

What an amazing ending to a phenomenal series. After all the struggles and the obstacles we get a conclusion to this beautifully written series. I fell in love with the series from the very beginning and its had me hanging off the edge of my seat for the whole journey. I couldn’t have hoped for a better ending and loved this book so much. A must read series! One of my top favorite series out right now. Beautifully done and written! Don’t miss out on this book or series!
