After her mother's sudden death, Louisa took off in the middle of the night abandoning the brothers Freed in the French Alps. Now she's back home, waiting tables, living with her best friend, Nisha, and missing the brothers desperately. However, when one shows up at the diner, Louisa runs again. When a loan shark comes to collect her mother's debt Louisa is beaten up and threatened. Hurt and in danger Bryce Freed saves her, offers her the safety of the Freed family home and a job in their company. Having no other choice Louisa accepts his help and she and Nisha move in with the brothers. Once there she sees how badly her running hurt the guys. Now it's time for her to face her true fear. A Holiday with the Freed brothers was a fantasy, this is real life. Can she let down her walls and accept the love of these men? Can she trust them not to hurt her?

Storm of Seduction picks up Louisa's story right where the last book left off. I loved how Louisa reunited with the guys fairly quickly after it started but that we got to see the damage she left behind when she ran. It made the guys seem much more invested. I had my doubts about their level of commitment after seeing the men they were before but this went a long way towards earning my trust. Each of the men showed a sense of vulnerability that grabbed my heart. I also liked that Louisa was able to confess her fears. Each of these characters has suffered due to their childhoods and their parents. It would not make sense if they didn't have scars and issues to overcome. They are realistic and their connection more authentic. I found their growing closeness to be touching. And then there are the shared physical attractions. Their sexual chemistry is off the charts! It's a nice balance. I appreciated the introduction of Nisha and Callum and even Stuart. It was nice to add other relationships into their lives.

The story was entertaining with a few twists and turns. Romance, steaminess, and a touch of suspense. The story arc wraps up but in a way that lets you know, there's more to come!

Lousia and the Freed brothers continue their healing journey. The book starts with Lousia and the brothers separated after Lousia runs out on them when she gets the news her mother dies. Bryce tracks her down and saves her from a loan shark and Lousia and her best friend Nisha move in.

First of all, I think Lousia running like she did, the brother's reactions to her running and the loan shark all felt natural based on what had happened before. Hudson's reaction especially felt true and deep. I like that Bea has given Lousia both a good friend and a father figure in her life to create a well rounded support system for Lousia. She needs the emotional stability of all types of relationships.

Lousia and the Freed brothers make great realistic strides forward in learning to live with their wounds and in forming the meaningful lasting romantic relationship that they never could have managed before. The steamy scenes were okay, it was the emotions that sold the book for me. If you not into broken people healing together stories, this may not be your favorite.

What lost a star in the rating for me is given the Freed brother's background, I don't think it was realistic on how they handled the loan shark. Also, be aware this is really short (161 pages). I had wait, what, that's it? moment because I didn't notice the length. Good news is there is a book three coming soon!

I’ve been waiting to dive back into this series ever since book one wrecked me with that abrupt ending—and I’m so glad I finally did. Storm of Seduction dials up the emotion and slows down the pacing in the best way, giving Louisa and the Freed brothers a real chance to rebuild what they lost.

Bryce steps in as the take-charge protector I didn’t know I needed, but let’s be honest—Hudson steals the damn spotlight. He’s angry, he’s broken, he’s emotionally starved, and I loved every dark second of it. That simmering pain and repressed love? Give me more of that broody chaos, please and thank you.

Louisa is infuriating at times, but her trauma makes sense, and the book does a solid job showing how trust has to be re-earned from both sides. I also liked that the heat didn’t come back right away—there’s emotional work first, and when it hits, it hits.

Pacing is a little uneven in places, and Nisha... she’s a lot. Loud, flashy, over-the-top—and not always in a good way. But the heart of this series has always been Louisa and her men, and that bond absolutely delivers. You have to read book one first, but if you’re in, this one’s worth it.

I'm not sure how I felt about this one exactly.

Louisa is dealing with her mother's death and all that entails.
She didn't realize it would require her to pay back a debt her mother owed to a loan shark.
She also didn't think it would include the Freed Brothers tracking her down to have her come back.
Or what they have been going through since her hasty departure.
Will they forgive and begin again?

I'm not a fan of insta-love.
It's just not something I have ever been drawn to.
I feel as if it is unrealistic.
I felt like the characters said 'I love you' too soon.
They are so damaged that I don't feel like this would be something they would do.
But then again, I can also see it happening because of everything they've been through.
It's a catch-22 I guess.
I think I would have seen their romance bloom a bit more before declaring such feelings.

I'm still on the fence with Louisa.
I'm not a big fan of her character.
I think I just don't understand her and where she is coming from.
In the first book, I felt she was all over the place.
Angry, Insecure, Judgmental, and Whiny.
In this book, she did improve on a few of those qualities, but I still felt like she was all over the place.

I liked seeing the guys vulnerable.
Seeing what they were like after Louisa left them.
I would definitely like to see something from their POV from the time they were without her.

Several times I thought a certain chapter would be the end (I don't check how many chapters are in a book prior, or keep up with my percentage completed while reading), only to see I still had more to go.
It ended with some big stuff going down and a very short epilogue with a vague concept of what to expect.
It looks as through more problems will be arising.

I'm curious to see how this will end.
What will be the final conclusion to this romance.

I like this series well enough.
I would recommend it to people looking for something of this nature.

Brothers Freed series
Bea Paige

Avalance of Desire
Storm of Seduction
Dawn of Love

Note this novel series contains polyamorous, reverse harem, menage, and multiple partner themes so if you are not interested in reading these themes this isn’t the series for you. If you do then read on.

Avalance of Desire introduces Lousia to the Freed brothers (though they aren’t brothers through the blood) in Alpe d’Huez in the French Alps when she takes a job as a hostess for the resort. She gets the chance at the job when an ex-husband of her alcoholic mother helps her get the job. It seems a great chance to get out of England and away from her mother for the holidays and the pay is nice when you consider all she has to do is prepare two meals a day, get the shopping, and clean up after the three bachelors in residence in the chalet. She never expects the sparks between all three of them and the problem of her mother will fallow her all the way to France.

Storm of Seduction the brothers search for Lousia when she leaves them in France with no word after they poured out their hearts to her. Little do they know that she went back to bury her mother and now the sins of the mother have fallen on the daughter and she needs the brothers more than they could ever guess.

Dawn of Love will kill you when one of the brothers gets a head injury on vacation that disrupts his memory of Lousia and their life together. Lousia not only fears that she will have to leave the men she loves but the trouble that has been following her isn’t done with her. But sometimes a kick to the head helps.

One of the best contemporary RH stories I’ve seen....

This is one of the best contemporary RH style stories I’ve come across in a very very long time, even back when they weren’t called RH just kinda inferred as really big menages,I can only think of one other that comes close, “Shine( Wild Love menage) by R.L. Jameson, now see it’s called a menage even though the heroine has 3 men all dedicated to her romantically and sexually,I don’t know what changed that was just 2 years ago and to me a RH needs a least 4+ men to be a harem but harem does still sound cool ;) as long as the men look to the woman for all the romantic and sexual attention, then I’m good...
Ok, well it needs to be a good story and not just sex but yeah....
I do have a few buts here and I’m going to try and be quicker that my normal long winded self...

1) I love this but : I still think this story would be told a be better and more complete if we could get a p.o.v from the guys at least here and there , I know these are your babies, you e lived with them and conceived them and you’ve done an amazing job brining Bryce,Max and Hudson to life, you really really have and I guess it’s your fault then I feel the need for more....
These men seem way,way too special to only have a voice thru Louisa, no offense to her but it would be nice to get to know them outside of her... you know to say know Max as Max per say and NOT just as Louisa’s Max... to know all o them as ppl not just her men ... Hey ,I blame you dear writer .... you should have made them sooo lovable that I want to know them soo much better ;)

2) and the kinda brings me two my second point, knowing the men better honestly I’d love to have seen Louisa with them outside of their house, our the unending drama her mum, or their pasts created, no pasts, no drama just something sweet..
Like going out and getting caught in the rain and a kiss that stole their breath ,just two of them .... an impromptu picnic where they share a secret they’ve never told another ( on a rooftop or a park) , a quiet night or lunch out at little out of the way place they usually go alone just to think ....
Would have been nice to see Louisa be courted some, sure it’s almost a little backwards after they have her moved it,but she is still getting to know them and it would have been nice....
They haven’t had a chance to slow down and just be and I think ( just me ) it would have made it all a bit richer and complex ad interesting if it had been there ....

3) and third, well I almost would have preferred this to just one book and the continuity suffers from the breaks , I’d rather pay 3*4 dollars for one book and get everything together than these breaks and trying to get back into a story after time away......
to me it works in a series but not always well like this...

And one final thing, while I can totally relate as a survivor or of mental and emotional and sometimes physical abuse ( won’t mention the other ) and while I loved seeing these beautiful hurting ppl come together to love and heal , I just wish like I said in my 2nd point their pain hadn’t been the almost constant focus in this ,like the hiring of childhood friends there is soo much to these beautiful men than sexy bodies and painful pasts and I’d loved to have seen more of that, especially with Louisa....
I don’t have any problems with her per say ,other than if it were me I’d have already grabbed on to the amazing men and prayed for the best , I just would have liked an older heroine who’d had a chance to grow up,a bit more and have more depth and character and interest that she has....
Sorry, this is long winded... I apologize, but I can’t help it, despite your long critique here I had a good time and I can’t wait for more... reading and my art are my passions and I just can’t help myself at times...
I hope what’s I’ve said is helpful or at least interesting...
Thank you for your story....

P.s. I lived in Northern England once upon a time ,never heard of ‘Primark” ,but I thought ASDA was kinda the equivalent to Walmart, I means didn’t Walmart buy out ASDA ?
I think that’s part of the reasons I preferred Sainsbury’s over ASDA and sometimes Tesco’s , though of course my fave was always “Mark’s and Spenser’s “ when I could afford it ;)
Deep sigh,I still miss M&S...

I don't know where to start with this book. I really don't. I am still wrung out from the first book, still thinking about the characters and their stories, still marvelling at how much Bea Paige has packed in to a relatively short but perfect book. This follow up is also perfect, again equally heartwarming and heartbreaking. It picks up where Avalanche of Desire finished, with Louisa trying to pick up the pieces of her broken heart. She is such a beautiful person, essentially a good, kind, loving human being despite her upbringing, but having never known love from people who are meant to love you unconditionally, she finds it almost impossible to believe that anyone can care for her and love her. The only people who she trusts are her best friend Nisha and one of her mother's ex-boyfriends, Richard, who thinks of her as a daughter. She knows that they love her and will not leave her or let her down. Bea has introduced Nisha in this book and we learn that Nisha also had a soul-destroying childhood. Bea tells us in a few short sentences how Louisa and Nisha first became friends and I have seldom read something so powerful and emotional which made my eyes water and will probably stay with me for a long time.
The Bothers Freed are lost without Louisa and are hurting badly, bless their shattered hearts. Their own insecurities, stemming from their awful childhoods, mean they are ill-equipped to deal with their pain and unable to help each other cope because they are devastated, each reacting differently to their loss but united in their pain.
When Louisa is re-united with the brothers, they have a lot of healing to do, which is not easy for four people who keep everything locked up inside themselves. All through the story the thoughts and actions of each character rang true with what we know about them and I was pleased that they were able to start opening up to each other and express their feelings.
This is such a powerful book, beautifully written, full of real emotions. The writing was honest and compelling and these characters are so real, I feel as though I know them personally. I cannot praise Bea Paige's writing highly enough.

Bea did an amazing job on the follow-up to Avalanche of Desire! In the sequel, we find Louisa reeling after suffering a loss and trying to put her life back together. Bad people come after her and its the Brothers Freed to the rescue! Louisa tries her best to keep her distance after running away from Hudson, Bryce, and Max at the chalet, but the connection between the four of the them is too strong and she ends up back with them thank goodness haha.

I really loved how real Bea made the relationship between Louisa and the brothers. They are all dealing with their own demons and they are slowly helping each other heal and lower their walls. I loved how they defended her and protected her and Louisa helped them open up and deal with their emotions. I also loved how the employees at their company were their friends or people they knew from their days in the foster care system. Once the brothers care about you, you are part of their family.

This book had some great steamy moments along with the action and suspense! Loved that the got more comfortable with each other and there was some 2-1 time (*fans self*). I liked that Max became more confident with Louisa and Bryce got to have some more tender moments. I think Hudson is still my favorite in terms of a connection with Louisa (his moments with Louisa just hit me in the feels a little more than with Bryce and Max). But seriously, can I have my own Bryce?!? I mean I would die to have all 3 of them haha. Club and pool scenes were definitely my favorite heated moments :)

Bea also introduces some awesome side characters in this book, Nisha (Louisa's BFF) and Cal (the brothers' bodyguard). We get to see them overcome some barriers and be there for each other during a rough time. I hope Bea has enough time this year to give us a novella for them! BTW totally want to move into their house...sounds breathtaking with some amazing tech features (the nerd in me can dream haha).

I would highly recommend this book and this RH series!! Can't wait for Book 3 but sad to see the trilogy come to an end <3

This is the second book in the Brothers Freed books by Bea Paige. And it takes place not long after Louisa left the Brothers without a word after she gets word her mother died. She's still struggling with her mother death, knowing that she wasn't a good person but mourning the mother she COULD have been to Louisa.

We see Richard, being the father figure and I'm grateful she has him. And we meet Nisha, her best friend who also grew up in a bad situation like Louisa, and in the same housing area. While Louisa is at work Bryce tracks her down. But so does someone else... Someone from her mother history, a loanshark and because her mum is gone that debt is now on Louisa's shoulders.

But Bryce, Max and Hudson won't let her take this on and invite her and Nisha to stay with them. But that's not the end of it. Can they survive this new situation and their unsaid pasts full of pain?

I really loved how they invited Nisha to stay with them and didn't take Louisa away from her support system and loved ones and just insist that all her attention on them. Their reactions to Louisa and why she ran were realistic. I love these guys, flaws and all. I can't wait till the third book!

Storm of Seduction- Bea Paige

Wow, this did not disappoint! I only want more, which isn’t a bad thing to feel at the end of a book. I will say that I am nervous for the end of Louisa and the Freed Brothers story though. Everything up to this point feels like it’s happened so quickly, can’t complain, so I’m nervous for the ending.

With that said, this book follows Louisa and Hudson, Max and Bryce after Louisa leaves unexpectedly in Avalanche of Desire (Book One). Louisa isn’t expecting her men to come looking, or to be as affected by her departure as they are. Bryce comes at the right time to save the day, and then the four of them begin to work on making their relationship and actual relationship.

These characters are great! I genuinely like the main characters, but Calum and Nish are such great characters as well. This book was a longer read than book one, which was great. There is so much smut and the tension between the four makes it such a fun read! I’m excited to see what awaits them in Dawn of Love (Book Three).

Book 2 in the brothers Freed series is just as good as the first. Bea Paige is exceptional so talented her books take you in to the book in such a way that you feel apart of it. Louisa is broken having ran from the brothers when news reached of her mothers passing she's struggling to move on when Bryce appeared at her new job. Freaked out she again runs but this time straight in to danger. Saved thankfully before things get to far by Bryse. He demands she come stay with him his brothers once they arrive they meet Calum the brothers sexy bodyguard who Nisha immediately takes a shine too and Louisa finds out just how much her tunning affected Bryce ,Max and just how badly it hurt Hudson. Again full of action heartbreak drama emotional revelations and a lot of steam this book delivers yet again. Boom 3 can't come quick enough and I cant wait to learn more about the brothers., Nisha and Calum.

Storm of seduction

This is the second book in the Brothers Freed series and it did not disappoint! This book picks up practically where the first book left off. Louisa is struggling after her mothers death emotionally from her mother death and her quick departure from the brothers who she thinks she will never see again. The brothers thankfully won't let her struggle on her own and decide to take her and a friend in when a loan shark threatens their well being. I love the added drama and suspense that this new development brings to their lives. Not only are they working on their own dark pasts in order to help their futures together but they also have to keep each other safe from the threats this new character brings.

Their reactions to these events are so realistic and heart felt that you feel automatically drawn and invested in these wonderfully developed characters. I love these characters, flaws and all and I absolutely can not wait to see where the third book takes them!

The story picks up straight after Book 1 and we learn what has happened to Louisa. Luckily it doesn’t take long for the Freed Brothers to return to the storyline, especially as Louisa finds herself in trouble again. We are introduced to new characters Nisha, Cal and Stuart and learn more about the Freed Brothers’ backgrounds. A steamy read and the Freed Brothers are hot.

One thing I really love about this Author is that she has not tried to Americanise the book, especially given it is set in the UK. It’s one of the things that truly irritate me when Authors Americanise language, spelling and phrases, when the story isn’t set in the US or the characters aren’t American. Instead the Author has provided a glossary at the front of the books to explain words or phrases that may not be familiar, and whilst I didn’t personally need it, I love that she did that and wish more Authors were brave enough to do the same. Writing is solid and already have Book 3 lined up to read.

Boy, oh, boy, what a book! It’s an incredible story of broken people who come together, and in their union, there is healing. The Brothers Freed and Louisa continue to live and love together as they face inner turmoil and outside enemies and begin to vanquish both. And while none of them is out of the woods, they are making great strides together to find their way. With the addition of two characters, Nisha and Callum, this wonderful series is all the richer. And the end? One terse sentence tells us that the turmoil is not done. If you enjoy reverse harems, this series should be read, and if you’re interested in reading this type of love story for the first time, this series is a great place to start.

'Storm of Seduction' is the second book in Bea Paige's Brothers Freed series and it was as amazing as the first.
Picking up where the first book left off we find out why Louisa left France and the three brothers. As she is mourning her mother's death she not only has to take care of the bills she has to pay and mourning her mother and her leaving the brothers but she also has to deal with her mother's problems from the past. When disaster strikes not only for Louisa but also for her best friend just because she is connected to her, will the brothers help her and more importantly take her into their hearts and lifes again?

This story was heartfelt and gripping, with some unexpected twists and it leaves you definitely wanting more! I can't wait for the next book

The second book in this series I think is even better than book 1. In this book what enjoyed the most from this book was getting to know Louisa on a deeper level and see her more with Richard and Nisha and not just the brothers! But not only do we learn more about her we really get to see the depth of feeling d the guys have got Louisa get more of a history into them all. Especially Hudson, in this book we really get to see the vulnerable side to him and he opens up. These four are damaged people and reading them find is other is a great story...I just hope in the future so book they remain around together! Can’t edit for book 3, highly recommended RH series!!

Bea Paige picks up Louisa's story right where the last book left off. Louisa left the brothers Freed after finding out her mother died. Now Louisa is back to her regular world, trying to somehow survive. Then one day Bryce shows up where she works, and her world turns upside down again. A loan shark shows up and Bryce thankfully saves the day. Now Louisa is unable to run from the brothers again, now that she is depending on the for her safety. This story not only had some steamy scenes, but the emotions that develop between the characters are amazing. This author is able to create an amazingly haunting world with characters who are beautifully flawed. Loved it!

I swear Bea Paige does it again, exceptionally well done and of course has me hanging off my seat for more of this great series. Louisa loses her mom and runs away from the brothers in the alps, what’s more for her to handle then losing a mom and dealing with all the struggles of one losing a parent but dealing with messy situations that her mother has left for after her passing. What will happen next with a loan shark after you and then more twists and turns involving her best friend. Plus will the brothers help her after the emotional rollercoaster of her leaving? If you loved the first book then you must read this one! Can’t wait for more, by far one of my fav series

Great continuation!

This book is an amazing continuation of the Brothers Freed series. It had the perfect mix of heat and story. The author could have easily turned this into an over the top sexy book but she didn't and it made it all the better! I am eager for book 3 to come to audio so I can see where Bea will be taking these amazing brothers!

I feel the narration in this book was slightly better than the first. The accent was much easier to understand this time around. I still wish the voices used for the male characters matched the characters more. I feel like one was way to breathy and another was very feminine.

Still on my Bea Paige kick, and while I could tell that these books were some of her earliest work, the story was still engaging. Yes, the writing was a little naive in places and the character connection that I have loved in her later books was a bit sparse in the beginning, I was still entranced by the story.

Yes, it did all happen incredibly quickly and the turnabout in the men was from 0-100 in pages, but I still read all three in two days. I could say a little cheesy in places but to be honest, it didn't bother me at all. Another great heart warming story where broken doesn't mean permanently...you just need to meet the person...or persons.

Book two of the brothers Freed and it is as exciting as hell. Louisa is alone again and struggling to get through the day to day mundane until she spies someone from her not to distant past, but dangerous lurking around the corner, will Louisa find her happiness again with the guys she left behind?

Well written second book in the series and I was glued to the page. I am really enjoying this series and am looking forward to seeing what happens next, it has a bit of everything in it, sweet romance, steamy heat, misunderstandings, hurt feelings danger and excitement, overall a great read

*voluntarily and honestly reviewed the ARC I received from the author*

I love reverse harems but this one seems so much sweeter than most, because it isn't about the sex or the constant lust. You actually see Louisa and her guys form a tighter bond. They weren't too stereotypical, they expressed themselves. When I first read this, it was pretty exciting. Then she got to their place and it was all about making up and rekindling what she thought was dead. You find out more about the men's pasts, you see their every day life. A few cheesy moments but overall, pretty fun.

I am in love with Louisa and her three men. In this second book we see Louisa deal with the loss of her mother as well as the fear of the feelings she has towards the brothers. Afraid of being used like her mom she runs from them and doesn't stop to think that maybe it wasn't a fantasy for the guys. she faces dangerous situations with strangers and with her heart. This story is awesome. Once I started to read it, I couldn't stop. Their story is something I can connect to and I enjoyed every word!

Great 2nd book in a fabulous contemporary RH series.

Bea Paige wrote a fabulous follow-up. It was all that o wanted for Louisa and the Freed brothers. She’s not one to shy away from honesty, emotions, or pain. She’s also not one to shy away from love, healing, and second chances. The writing is fabulous and development rich. I’m a bigger and bigger Bea Paige fan with every book I read. I absolutely cannot wait for the next book!
I requested and received a reader copy of this book. This is my voluntary, true, and honest opinion.

Loving the Brothers Freed series by Bea Paige.

Here in book 2 we see Louisa and her men come back together, after Louisa hears some bad news. This book is all about the four of them coming together, entrusting one another, and sharing parts of themselves to each other. One again, Bea Paige has made us feel so much in regards to these wonderful characters whose crime is to care too much. I can’t wait to see what happens in book #3 - Dawn of Love

It’s rare to find a contemporary reverse harem series that isn’t straight up erotica and contains good character and plot development. These things are found in Bea Paige’s Brothers Freed series. I read the first instalment in the Snow and Seduction anthology and quickly continued on with book two. I’m enjoying the dynamics between the characters and love the addition of best friend, Nisha. In this instalment, Louisa moves into the house with the guys after her life is threatened and the close proximity strengthens the bond between Louisa and her three lovers. 4 Stars.

I’ll be honest, when I carried on with this book, I was totally expecting the beginning that there was. I really liked it, but I just wasn’t expecting it. We see more of Louisa’s life in this book; in the same vein, we do eventually learn more about the guys - their background, how they run their company, etc. There’s also a lot of character/relationship development in this book. The plot was a bit more fast-paced in this one, I felt. There was more action to it. There’s also much more of a sense of what life may be like for them. It was straight onto book 3 for me.

Storm of Seductions starts off right where the previous book finished. This one predominantly focuses on their relationship with each other especially after Louisa is found after abandoning the Freed Brothers in France. Louisa’s mother dying has put a few things in perspective and it’s time for Louisa to prioritise herself over others. But as her mothers past catches up with her she needs to rely on others more than ever.

Fast paced, RH, and loads of emotional wall break down, what’s not to like.
